... Damien would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded him, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Damien sat along the wall of the room, he had a splitting migraine that did not fade even as he was waking up. He was chained to the wall behind him- from his wrists and ankles. There was a figure floating in front of him. It floated about five feet off the ground, and a gray cloak covered its body. The cloak was about four feet long, so the creature inside was that size or smaller. The only feature of its actually body visible were its eyes- six glowing eyes. Two each of red, blue, and green. Its stared down at him, almost as if it were analyzing him. There was a man in the room as well, laying limply on the far side of the room. He had black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. His eyes were closed weakly. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up, and his gray cloak was spotted with blood all over. Damien awoke with a groan, though his annoyance at the migraine quickly turned to confusion and mild panic as he realized his movements were restricted, there was an unknown being hovering in front of him, and there was a beat up and burned guy in the corner. Damien came to a singular conclusion from this whole scene, and despite there being no wind in the room his clothes and hair started to whip around a little. He looked up at Alrai Pin. "Look I promise I don't have whatever information you think I do, and I definitely don't know that guy." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

As Damien tried to speak, no sound would be emitted. In fact, nothing in this room was capable of producing any sound.. The floating figure stared at Damien for a little while, before raising up a small hand and pointing down at him. "Really? You. Don't?" Memories- his memories were pulled up in Damien's mind. They were of Ares, speaking those words to him. From random times they had interacted. If Damien looked back over at the guy in the corner, he would have been replaced with Ares, laying still in a pool of blood. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien's eyes widened in confusion, maybe in hope. Upon hearing Ares' voice, he looked for the source, and did indeed see his best friend, burned and unconscious on the floor. He struggled against the restraints, hard, and the sourceless wind around him greatly increased in speed, though it seemed to be unable to reach the floating figure, for now. "You FUCKING BASTARD-" Damien tried to yell, no sound came out of course. As soon as he realized speaking was useless, he simply put more energy into trying to break himself out, bruising himself quite badly against the cuffs in the process. Despite the sound barrier, he still seemed to be trying to address Ares. Ares! Ares! Can you hear me? Ares it's Damien. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"No the hell he's not. But you will be the second I get out of these things." Damien spat. Seems he wouldn't believe Ares was dead until he could feel the nonexistent pulse or lack of breath. Whether his friend was dead or not, he was going to stay angry, it seemed. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The figure pointed over to Ares, and he began to float up from his position. He floated all the way over to Damien as it moved its hand along. Ares crashed down on to Damien's lap, he could feel it. And Ares really did look dead- his eyes opened wide and rolled back in his head and entirely lacking a pulse. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien flinched when Ares landed. His breath got shallow and quick, he couldn't take his eyes off his dead friend. He stopped struggling against the restraints. "You're a sick coward." It was clearly directed at the floating figure above him, much quieter but with more venom than before, if that kind of thing translates telepathically. but he still didn't look away from Ares. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Ares kept laying there, lifelessly. "Coward." The memory of him saying it replayed in his own mind. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien shook his head, as if trying to shake the voice. He didn't say it this time, but get out of my head started replaying in his brain, recognizing that at the very least, the figure had been in his head regardless of if the chant of coward had stemmed from within him. He started actively trying to direct wind at the floating figure, but it never went far enough, and if it did there wasn't nearly enough force to hurt. He finally looked away from Ares and up at the figure, still hateful but by now recognizing he was unfortunately powerless unless they moved closer. The figures cloak moved very slightly in the wind. "Seeing you. Upset. Suffering. Knowing your. Reaction." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien looked at the corpse on his lap and back at the floating figure. "What the hell did I ever do to you to make you want that? What did he ever do?" He's assuming this is some personal vendetta. While he is talking to the figure, he is also trying in vain to worm himself out of the restraints, just less violently. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Absolutely. Nothing. Hahaha." The laugh seemed to be specifically from a memory of Ares laughing. Then, all of a sudden, the illusion disappeared. It was Rakin who was laying on his lap, still looking beaten and bloody as he had been before. His breathing and pulse could be felt now at least, though. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

The memory of Ares laughter visibly almost brougth Damien to tears. He looked relieved for a moment, so, so relieved, until the angry confusion set back in, along with concern for this beaten and bloodied rando who was infact still alive, even though it wasn't Ares. "You gonna leave me chained up and beat the shit out of me too? You really are a coward." completely misinterprets the situation but who can blame him. He managed to use some of his wind to turn Rakin's face over, trying to get a look at it. It was also clear he was now trying to talk to the man, though obviously it couldn't be heard. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin was out. He didn't respond to getting moved around at all. A few splatters of blood were on his face, and the right side seemed a bit more burned than the left. The burns also looked healed by now, old wounds. "Hm... No. I have. Something. More. Exciting! For you." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien stopped examining the guy and looked back at the figure. "I don't think I'm gonna agree with whatever you define as 'exciting'." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Why? Some would. say. my. Definition. is. law." The memories proposed. "But I'll. ask. What do. You. think is. exciting." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien hated everything about how the changing voices. Jad, Oliver, Jad again, Ares. "Mountain biking. Sky-diving. Horror movies. Not. This." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Hmmmmmm..." A memory hummed. Flashing memories of those activities played in his head- either his own or from some other media Damien had seen. "How. Quaint. Pointless. Meaningless. Activities." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

"Well, what do you find exciting then?" He figured he wouldn't like the answer. He still looked pissed off, and he felt ridiculous and a little mortified because there was still some random unconscious man lying on his lap. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

How does Damien even respond to that? "Why mine especially? You said I didn't do anything." The prospect of dying really wasn't something he wanted to consider. All he could think about was how if he died here, no one would know what happened to him. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"well then can't you just- observe the place you took me from? I can guarantee there's plenty of suffering and demise, no kidnap required." He had an edge to his 'voice', as if he had personal experienced or witnessed as such. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"But. wouldn't you. say. This is much more. Suffering? Condensed? Intensified?" @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

"Maybe I'll go have the time of my life wherever you stick me, just to spite you" Damien replied, giving them a smile as if to prove the point. "How do you plan on making me suffer anyway, exactly?" He'd gone back to soundlessly talking, made it easier to keep his thoughts together. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I would love. To see. You. Try. Maybe you will. Have some. Fun. Before getting thrown. In to space. I wouldn't. Care." The voices said, Alrai Pin descending down closer to him. "Will make. Your. Death. All the. Sweeter." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

With Alrai Pin now in range, Damien took the first opportunity to spur the air around him forward as he jolted in the restraints, right at Alrai-Pin's face, since its the only part of him Damien could see. The air attack would feel like going to the eye-doctor and getting that puff of air to the eye, only more intense, with enough force to at least knock Alrai-Pin's head backwards. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Well, when you had six eyes to blow air in to, it sure did hurt three times as much. The room was still silent as the figure was pushed back, squeezing their eyes shut and moving their hands over their face. But as soon as the pain had worn off, they looked back over at Damien with wide eyes and a shaking hand pointing at him. And suddenly.. He was in pain. A lot of pain. It felt like someone was pushing pins in to his skin all across his body. Repeatedly. Everywhere. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Damien clearly tried very hard not to vocally react even as his face contorted in pain, though he ended up giving a yell anyway, straining against the restraints. The air around him whipped wildly in response to the uninvited pain. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
