... Nathan would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded him, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? There was also a bit of blood splattered across the stone.. Kind of all over the place and seemingly random. Nathan sat against the back of the room, up against one of the stone walls. His wrists were handcuffed tightly to the wall, not giving him much wiggle room whatsoever. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking slightly. His outfit looked pristine though. As Nathan stirred, he looked over with a blank expression. He held his shaking right hand out toward Moses' head as he walked toward him. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in his head before he vanished. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Everything ached, so, so badly. His head, his throat, everything. Like an awful caffeine crash, but if Emmie had decided to hit him in the back of the head. Twice. With a steel chair. Groaning, Nathan gently tipped his head back, resting his head against the wall. As he took deep, heavy breaths from his nose and felt the pain ebb away, he cracked open an eye to be greeted by the galaxies, swirling and shimmering far, far above him. Breathtaking could be used to describe that. Heavenly, too. If he squinted enough, he could maybe spot the Pleiades- wouldn't that be amazing, the first person to see the Pleiades so close? …That wasn't normal. Indigos. Bolting upright, Nathan let out an angry yell as his shoulders and wrists just burst with pain. He couldn't move. He couldn't fucking move. "ACE!" Nathan bellowed, continuing to strain against his restraints. "Ace, you no good piece of fucking shit, this is- this- I hope Wilbur breaks up with you!" After only a few moments, Nathan slumped against the wall, wheezing from sheer anger. His chest hurt. His head was hurting again. Fuck Emmie and her powers. Fuck her especially, most of all. Lifting his gaze only slightly, he was soon very aware of the stranger in the room with him. The stranger moving steadily towards him. Instinctively, Nathan's eyes began darting about the room. No exit. No way out. Four stone walls. Blood on the ground- blood on the ground? Dude, whoever this guy was, he was a threat. Nathan's hands balled up into fists he tried to force his mind to work, or something. Conjure up anything, think up anything- Nothing. He lashed out, kicking wildly with one foot as the stranger extended his hand to his head. Fucking hell, that Ace! Shitty ass draining powers and mush brain and mush bones and- "Piss off!" he spat out, bristling at the hand like a rabid dog. "Who the hell are you? Finally, Rakin reached his hand on to Nathan's head. A small electric pulse went through his head, not necessarily painful, but surely uncomfortable. Nathan pressed his back up against the wall as hard as he possibly could, trying to keep his distance from the stranger. All his efforts were, alas, in vain, as he pressed his hand to Nathan's head. The little jolt he received in turn made Nathan hiss out loudly, shaking his head quickly when his hand was brought away. After a little moment of silence, sitting and listening to the stranger, Nathan's head quickly snapped up to glare at him. "I'm not repeating shit," he snarled, nostrils flared. "I am afraid you do not have much choice but to participate." Rakin shrugged. "Also, if you do not repeat yourself, you are forfeiting the opportunity for me to answer any questions. You will not get many more of these opportunities." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Nathan glowered, hands balling up into fists. "Oh, in that case," he started, voice dripping with saccharine sweetness, "I told you to go n'fuck yourself. And I told Ace he could go n'fuck himself too." These Oni rituals were getting more and more elaborate by the day. "Yeah, well, I don't wanna participate. Game show. Thing. Nathan couldn't help themself but cackle, throwing their head back as they laughed with mirth. Master? Dude, this guy was weird. And they were gonna have so much fun bullying him at every. Single. Nathan faltered ever slightly at that, but continued pace double as fast. “Uh huh, riiight, big guy- cause if you show me, it’ll ruin the fun of your tournament-ritual-game-show thing,” Nathan sniffled, shifting on from the idea of being thrown into space. (was that their new gimmick? Did they move on from the death fog that turns people into stone?) “Though I gotta say, this is gonna be a shiiiiit ritual. ‘Participate in our ritual! Somewhat put off that their attempts at goading the guy weren’t working, Nathan scowled, promptly before his next few words caught their attention. ’It’s too late for y-‘i “Θεέ μου,” Nathan exhaled through his teeth, “such typical villain *bullshit, what the fuck? Could you at least be a little original?” Another glare, this time laced with even more venom than before. “Why’d your great old master choose a guy who just graduated college, huh? Mulling this over a little in his head, Nathan tested; “So, for the Oni ritual. Your. Master. Snrk. Guy, just wanted. Funny dudes or...strong dudes?” He tried to hold back a snicker, but failed, inhaling sharply through his nose. He was feeling better and better about this whole thing- if the Oni were struggling that hard to have to include random guys, he could easily get outta this! He was fumbling. Surprisingly enough, the tension was melting away from his shoulders as he mentally beat into his brain that the guy was not, in fact, Oni. A part of him still felt angry, oh, very, very angry at Ace and Emmie, two faced lying. Sneaking, Assholes. But the other part of him just felt relieved that he wasn’t going to be part of an Oni ritual. Just a normal ritual. A normal Frogling ritual. “Yeah, I- uh- sorry, dude?” Nathan apologetically asked, shrugging as best he could. “Bad history with the Oni, y’know? Uh, never heard about the Froglings though, so. Uh. "What the hell," Nathan wheezed, dread sinking into his stomach. Whattt the hell. This wasn't normal. This wasn't normal. A thousand thoughts began racing through his head- he wouldn't consider him a conspiracy theorist, but this was not. Adding up. "Wait, wait- wait, what are- what are Froglings?" he quickly asked, reaching for some semblance of understanding. "Your master. As Nathan sat there, the dread that was already so prominent in his stomach was only sinking deeper and deeper. This was all just far too freaky for him. He thought the Oni's ritual was a bit too much, but this? Oh, no, he wanted out, and he wanted out now. Studying the Frogling guy as he talked, Nathan only had a few seconds to shift his plan into gear. His palms were already soft- not as soft as he wanted, but it was fine. Exit. Keys. Hidden door. Run. "Yeah, you do you with your self-sacrificing shit," Nathan gritted out, suddenly unclenching his fists. "I'm not sitting around to play in your fucked up little ritual game." Still cuffed, his once solid hands began to shift into something malleable and pliable, almost like the texture of clay. Nathan quickly slid what was once his hands out of his restraints before they reshaped itself into what they used to be.
