... Ko would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded her, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? There was also a bit of blood splattered across the stone.. Kind of all over the place and seemingly random. Ko sat against the back of the room, up against one of the stone walls. One of her hands was loosely chained to the stone wall behind her. By the time she was conscious again, the pain of her teleportation had faded. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe- and lots of bandages in various stages of blood coverage. His right arm was bandaged up and shaking quite badly. The gray robe and green pants he wore were stained in blood and torn in places, especially his shoes, which seemed to have stab wounds straight through them... Ow. As Ko stirred, he looked over with a blank expression. He held his shaking right hand out toward Ko's head as he walked toward her. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in his head before she vanished. @Shae | Ko

Ko bit her tongue to keep from groaning as she awoke. Sitting up as much as possible as she took stock of the room and her restraint. She briefly pulled on it as a test, she could try and dissipate her hand with her powers but she wanted to have a better idea of things first. Though she quickly found herself wanting to as she locked eyes with the stranger. Unsure what his intentions were but airing on the side of caution as she stood up, or as much as she was able with the restraint. “Hello,” she greeted politely, “are you the one who brought me here?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The man only continued walking up to her, and placed his hand on her head. A shock of electricity went through her head, and lingered in her brain for a moment, before fading away. Once the feeling was gone, the man stepped away and placed his arms behind his back. "Welcome. Now that we can understand each other, you should repeat what you were saying before." @Shae | Ko

She blinked, her reflexes too slow in the confusion of it all. But considering the outcome she supposed she could view the man as peaceful for now. “Hello,” she greeted again, giving a small bow in greeting before righting herself, “I am Ko Utabi, are you the one who brought me here?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Yes, I am the one who brought you here, but I am not the one that invited you." Rakin nodded. "How are you feeling?" @Shae | Ko

“I feel alright I suppose. What is it that I’ve been invited here for? Forgive me but I do not recall being invited. Only a chanting in my mind before being brought here.” She was used to spirits whisking her away based on a whim. But they usually gave her slightly more warning. Or at least, most of them did. “And why am I chained?” She added as an afterthought. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"You have been invited here to participate in a tournament, in The Maze. You will be competing, until you die." Rakin informed. "You are chained for both of our safety's." @Shae | Ko

“Until I die?” She spoke flatly, “I’m not sure I understand. What sort of tournament? Competing for what? Outside of that I have duties back home I can not simply abandon. Either by being here long or by dying here.” She wished she had her sword, she could try using the mist version with her charms but it hardly compared. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"You will be competing to live the longest, though I am trying to convince the host that the contestants should be competing for the chance to escape, but my proposals have mostly gone unheard." Rakin sighed. "I am sorry about your duties, hopefully someone else can fulfill them." @Shae | Ko

Ko blinked, debating the merits of attempting to flee now would be unbecoming. Taking a deep breath, she knew better than to attempt something rash. “I suppose someone will have to,” she spoke her gaze turning contemplative as she looked around her enclosure again, “I do not suppose you could inform me who my host is? Or if there is anything I could do to help you change his mind about this tournament.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Your host is my master, Alrai Pin. There is nothing you can do to change their brilliant mind, they hardly even listen to me." Rakin shrugged. "This event will be going on, regardless of what anyone wants." @Shae | Ko

“I see, and if I attempt to escape? Will I be killed for attempting?” She asked, pulling a bit on her restraint. Less in an attempt to break it and more to test its durability. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"No. The only escape for anyone is in to the vast expanse of space. Which means you would die anyway." @Shae | Ko

“Ah,” Ko spoke. She tried thinking of a way out but there was none she could think of. She had already been taken and if Rakin said their was no escape than finding one regardless would not be through his aid. “Very well then, when does it start?” She asked. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"It will be starting shortly after everyone is on their side of the Maze. I still have a handful of people to speak with before people start getting sent in." Rakin said. @Shae | Ko

“Then I suppose I shouldn’t keep you, unless you feel like there is anything else I should know before it starts,” Ko spoke, she’d have to be quick on her feet once it started. Form her sword for protection, learn about the others who might come after her. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Hm. Nothing too particular comes to mind." Rakin said and walked back up to her. "Good luck, once the matches begin."
