... Kiran would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded them, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Kiran sat along the wall of the room, a migraine fading from their head as they woke up. The tingling was gone, and they had full control over their body. Both of their hands were chained tightly to the stone wall behind them. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking terribly, along with his left shoulder. His entire gray outfit was stained with blood. As Kiran stirred, he looked over with a blank expression. // REBOOTING // A set of silent mechanical clicks and whirrs sprung to life quietly, one by one inside Kiran's body as their motherboard restarted their system. A faint light behind their flickered on, indicating their power was back on. They took in a deep breath, jerking harshly, causing their chains to jangle. The lerava blinked, lifted their head and swayed a little, having some trouble focusing their gaze on the man in front of them. A series of screeching and crackling noises gurgled out of their throat, before their translator snapped online. Kiran coughed softly and shook their head intensely. They tried to move their hands, finding them stuck. They glanced at their restraints, getting a bit more focus and sharpness to their expression when they turned to stare at Rakin. "What the... what the ****. Who are you. What do you want. Where am I. What." Their speech automatically matched to the language Rakin was speaking, sounding a lot calmer more polite than Kiran's expressions and restless body-language suggested. "I am Nok Rakin, Caller of the Abyss, and my master, Alrai Pin, has invited you to participate in our tournament. I think they took quite a liking to you. Not much different than your dear friend we so cruelly separated you from.."

Kiran seemed a little distracted. They blinked a lot and shook their head a little every now and then, as error messages cluttered their vision, informing them of several program files that had been corrupted and hadn't been recovered. They curled their toes into a fist, and lifted their foot to rub their eye. "Argh, you fried my circuits. None of my albums better be corrupted." Then, they tried to focus on Rakin again, squinting a little and processed what he had said. Their eyes relaxed a litte for a moment. "Ner..." Then they frowned a little and shook their head.

"Do you not know who he is? If you know, you gotta have a deathwish to steal prince Ragner's favorite toy. I am lord Noxerus' property, and you are getting in big trouble for stealing me. It's better to just send me back before the brat goes and cries to his dad."

"Oh, I think we'll be just fine. By the time they get here, if they can even figure out where we are, this will already be over."

Rakin smiled. "So you can relax. You're now a plaything of Alrai Pin instead, which is at least a somewhat more glorious title." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

A mildly concerned expression danced on Kirans face for a moment, before they leaned their head back against the wall, and sighing. They cussed under their breath, which their translator bleeped out. Their tail sweeped the floor. "What have I done to deserve such popularity among rich weirdos?" they groaned, looking back down from the ceiling and eyeing Rakin now with hooded, mildly annoyed eyes. Their tail tip tapped the floor lightly. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I think 'rich' isn't a great way to define my master currently, but 'weirdo' is a good one." Rakin said.

"I assure you, my master prefers watching their toys from afar, so you will mostly be free to do what you wish until your fight begins."

Kiran tilted their head a bit with a curious furrow and a cocked eyebrow. "Well that's nice to hear at least... but what's this, then?" they tapped their chains with their tail. "Fight? Am I in for a cock fight now? I'm not exactly the gladiator type if you couldn't tell." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"The chains are to stop you from maiming me. That's all." Clearly that had been an issue with how rough he looked. "And most people we brought here aren't. It's more about the show of it all than genuine fighting prowess." @Twig | Kiran + Riki (edited)

"Huh", Kiran replied to that, looking at the bloodied robes on the man. "Well judging by what they did to you they are more out for blood than me", they pointed out and shrugged. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I have seen a lot of people in the past few days that really did not appreciate what I had to say." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Can't imagine why." Kiran remarked, and pulled themself into a better position.

"Seriously though. If there's a scratch on me when my masters arrive, it won't be pretty for you guys. It'll be a lot worse than a few tears and broken bones. If you know me, you know what they did to my planet. I'm trying to warn you, it's dangerous to draw their attention. I'm not just any little critter. If you wanted a lerava there's less risky ones than me."

"I have done the calculations for their fastest travel speeds for that species, and the soonest they could get to you is after this event is planned on being concluded. They will arrive to see nothing but your corpse."

Kiran's back was rendered in prickly bristles as their sharp fur stood on end. Their eyes widened briefly, and they froze, before relaxing again, and the dull, mildly annoyed expression returned in their eyes. Their tail swept and tapped the floor.

"And after that? Don't think they'd leave it there. The brat will be bawling his stupid little eyes out and his father won't let thieves off the hook that easy."

"My master will have already succeeded in their task and we will have moved away from here, leaving no trace of where we have gone. My god's carelessness has already led to their kind being wiped out once, they intend on being much more careful this time."

Kiran eyed Rakin skeptically, huffed, and shook their head, turning away. "I guess your funeral is none of my business," they grunted. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Sure. Once my gods have been revived, they will be quick to reconstruct their weapons of mass destruction. And if anyone threatens them again, they will not be so hesitant to use them this time.."

Kiran sneered.

"You call them your gods? Heh. Your and my guys sure sound similarly sweet cinnamon rolls. I'm sure they'd get along if I wasn't causing conflict,"

they cackle dryly, and look up to the ceiling, shaking their wistfully. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I doubt it. My gods don't play nice with anyone who is not them, and they merely tolerate their own creations." Rakin hummed. "Are we done here, then?" @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Fun," Kiran hummed. They looked back at Rakin. "I guess. If you really want to go through with this and you don't have anything else to tell me." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I don't want to go through with it. I have to go through with it." Rakin raised up his bandaged hand.
