“Okay!!” She got up quickly and went directly to Celena. She continued to stare at her for a moment while she found her words. “Um… can.. can I have.. a mango? ..Please?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"Then maybe I'll definitely get some corn, I'm- Kinda hungry.." Celena admitted. At Nora's request, Celena nodded. "Sure." She looked at the mangoes that she had collected and picked out one that looked the best. Presenting it to Nora, she offered her a little smile. She smiled a little and took the mango. “Hee… um, thank you!” She returned to her spot on the blankets. She continued to eat her soup, trying to eat it even slower than before. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"That sounds like a good idea. It's good to stay fed, especially with the storm coming. We'll need to keep up our strength." Yeonaixho nodded. "What other fruits do you have? I might take some too." "No problem. There's more if you'd like some more later." Celena hummed. She looked to Yeonaixho. "We only had some time to grab strawberries and mangoes. “It’s.. it’s very good! Um.. I’m just.. just drinking the.. the water part. I didn’t.. wanna be sick again.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"Oh, I'll take some strawberries. My favorite fruit is apricots, though we can get some of those later." Yeonaixho smiled. "That's good. The broth will be easier on the stomach." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Next time, I'll remember that- Apricots, got it." Celena nodded. She began to take out some strawberries for Yeonaixho. When she had them all gathered, she scooted a bit closer to hand them over. "Here you go, some strawberries." She looked to Nora and gave another small smile. "I'll take a look for bananas for you next time, if you'd like. "Thank you!" Yeonaixho took the strawberries into his hands, and popped one into his mouth. "Ooo, maybe we can also make some applesauce for you, Nora. That's half the BRAT diet. Too bad we've got no toast or rice." "Bananas are sweet and kinda mushy, strawberries are really sweet too. You can try some, if you'd like." "Bananas have an interesting texture, they are kinda squishy. Strawberries can be a bit firmer, they're really the best- They're my favorite fruit." She chuckled. "I think you'd like strawberries, a lot of people do." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺 @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She nodded a long but tilted her head at Juno. “B-brat..?? Wh.. huh? Oh.. t-thank you..” She took the berry, but frowned in confusion. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"The BRAT diet is a special diet you can go on if you get really sick. You eat bananas, plain rice, applesauce and toast, though other plain foods like broth and oatmeal and whatnot are also okay to have." Yeonaixho explained. "You shouldn't have to go on anything like that, but it'd be good to choose foods less likely to upset your stomach." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"You eat the red bit, not the green leaves," Celena hummed. "The diet is meant to be good on the stomach while still providing you with nutrients. I'm sure we can find some other fruits that'll be good for you." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺 @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She nodded at Celena and bit into it, eyes lighting with delight. “Eeeheehee!! It’s.. it’s really sweet.. heee..” She rocked a bit. “Um, why.. why is it.. called that? That’s.. that’s a mean name.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"It's just called that since it's one letter of each word. It's an acronym!" Yeonaixho explained, eating more of his strawberries. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“It stands for bananas, rice, apples, and toast,” Celena explained as she plucked a strawberry for herself. She took a bite of it. “Those things are just nice on the stomach when you’re sick. "An acronym's when you take a bunch of words, and take the first letter of each word to make a new word." Yeonaixho explained. "And that's okay, you won't have to eat any apples. There's tons of other foods that are easy on the stomach." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

As the two of them spoke, Celena got up and fetched herself some corn. She took a seat back in her spot and took a bite from it. Mmmm. Delicious.

“Welll.. Nathan called me a kid, so to some people, I guess I am a kid,” Celena gave a small sigh before she took another bite of her corn. Yum. “But I’m 18.” Kind of. That was complicated. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

“Oh.. mhm, M-Mister Juno would know- he.. he has a baby. Mhm. Umm… do.. do you wanna..” She pulled out a raggedy little stuffed cat and showed it to Celena. “Do you.. wanna play.. with me?” She had a hopeful look in her eyes. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

Celena fought back a pout. "Legally, I'm an adult. I'm just- A young adult. A small adult." At the sight of the cat, she tilted her head curiously. It vaguely reminded her of one of her own plushies when she was younger. A smile appeared on her face. "Mmhm, we can play. What do you wanna play?" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"Still a kid. Nora's right, I know." Yeonaixho smiled, a clear air of amusment and laughter to gis voice. "You two can go play, I'll still be here. Don't get yourselves into any trouble." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She smiled back. “Hee.. Um… I.. can we play.. we play.. pretend? Um, you.. pretend to be.. something else.” She held up her cat. “I like- I like to play with kitty. Kitty is- she’s a witch.” She rocked as she explained. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Well, I can't really- Make anything with my powers- My powers are light, so it's not really something physical and fun, but-" She glanced around at some of the things she had available. Perking up at the sight of some of the spare leaves, she grabbed a few and began to intertwine some of them together. She twisted some, made some knots here and there, and slowly began to shape it into a figure. Tada! Leaf doll! "Maaaaybe I can try this?" She asked, holding out the leaf doll to Nora. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Her eyes lit up as she started to put it together. She drummed her hands on her lap once it was finished, very excited. “Eeehee!! That’s- that’s cool!! Hee.. um okay..” She picked up her cat, animating it with her strings. “I am… the powerful witch of the forest!! And you… are, um, what.. what do you.. want to be?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

For a moment, Celena felt slightly- Childish. It was odd to just be able to sit and hold a doll for the first time in years. 'Years' was an understatement, it was far much longer. It took her a second to realize that she had never quite given herself the opportunity to just sit and be a kid. Maybe she didn't entirely know what it was like to be a kid. "Maybeee.. I could be a student who wants to learn magic from the powerful witch? And that's why I went into the forest that no one else wants to go into, and it's a bit spooky." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Learn from the witch? That was new, exciting! “Ooo, um.. yes!! Um…” She moves the cat close to the leaf doll. “‘Hello sstudent!’” She makes her voice a little higher as she moves the cat to make it ‘talk’. “Um.. ‘My student!! You.. want to learn.. magic, yes?? To.. to learn magic.. we must.. go on a quest!! Into… the Darker Woods!!! And get…’ get- um.” She pulls something off of her neck- a little crystal bear on a string. “‘We must get the.. the magic bear!!’ Heehee.” She looked at Celena expectantly. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena smiled as she moved her little doll a bit closer to the cat. When she spoke, her voice was a bit higher pitched, but also sounded somewhat younger. "'Into the Darker Woods?'" Celena playfully gasped. "'But they're dark and spooky! How're we going to get through it to get to the magic bear? I thought that was only a story!'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora was absolutely ecstatic. She’s never had anyone to play with before!! No one real, at least. “‘Yes!! We.. we can get through it because.. we will be together! I will.. I will teach you how.. to go through the woods. The Magic Bear is real… but the..’ the, um.” She pauses for a moment, gathering some loose leaves and tying them together with string to create a similar doll to Celena’s. “‘The evil monster stole it!! He stole it… and locked it away.. where nobody can.. can see it and be happy. We must…. Defeat the evil monster!!! Then you.. can use magic.’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena made her doll nod her head. "'Yeah! We can get through it together, everything'll be fine! We can get through the woods together, find the Magic Bear, and defeat the evil monster!'" She made her doll do a happy little hop. "'I'm ready! But- Can the evil monster use magic, too? Since he has the Magic Bear?'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh! That’s- that’s a good idea- umm. ‘You are correct!! He has evil magic.. he can make… others evil!! So.. I will tell you.. the way through… You must go past.. the Giant Tree… through.. the Deep Valley… to the Tiger Cave. The Tiger.. will help us find.. the way to the… the Evil Monster Tower!! Where the Evil Monster has.. the Magic Bear. Now.. we will go!!’” The cat had very exaggerated movements as Nora puppeted it. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

Celena smiled. "Ooooooooo, a Tiger! I like tigers, they're just big cats- 'Oh no! We'll have to be super careful of his magic, or else we'll be evil, too! The Tiger will be a big help!! Yes, yes, let's go!'" Celena made her doll give a little salute. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She smiled at the little salute. “Um, okay.. I need to..” She got up for a moment, the plush flopping over as Nora diverted her attention to setting up the area. She took some loose sticks and shoved them into the ground, then she used her blanket and created a sort of ‘valley’ with it. She pointed at the items. “Um, this is.. this is the tree.. and this.. is the valley. Now, umm… ‘Now! To.. the Giant Tree!!! Um- Everything.. by the Giant Tree.. is giant!! So.. we must be careful… to not get stepped on.. by spiders.. and mice. Because they will be giants.’ And, um..” She got up again, setting down a few big rocks by the tree stick. She tied some string around them to make them look more like animals. She was rather fast, so she must be used to being creative with her toys. “This.. this is the animals. ‘Now student… the animals.. could be evil, so.. so we must be.. careful.’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena watched with intrigue as the strings made the animals move. “Whoa.. What’s your power? It’s pretty cool,” Celena smiled. “Oh, right- ‘We’ll be careful!! Spiders won’t stop us, because we’re too good!’” “‘The animals- How do we fight them? Or is there another way to stop them?’” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh, um… I have.. magic string. Um my.. my kitty, I sowed…. the string in it so.. so I can move it. And then, um… I can just.. make string, like.. like a spider! But um… cooler heehee..” With that explanation, she returned her focus to the toys. “‘Yes! We can fight them… with magic. So.. Magic lesson one!!’” Um, so I was… thinking you.. you have.. your pretty light.. and I have.. my string so.. we can pretend that, um.. that’s their magic.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Ohh- That’s pretty interesting! I’ve never met anyone with string powers in all my life, that’s pretty cool!” Celena smiled. “But that’s pretty smart- We can use our own powers to be our character’s powers!” With a flick of her free hand, small orbs of light appeared by Celena’s leaf doll. They were white in color, though occasionally, orange and yellow flickered through the light. It was almost as though a fire was concealed by an outer layer of light. “‘This is the only magic I can make, but I’m not so good at it.’” Celena moved her doll as though to make it speak. “‘These little balls of light just float alllllll around.’” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She smiled at being called cool. “Hee.. okay, um.. ‘Very good magic! Now.. the Giant Tree. Hmm.. I can hear something.. what do you think.. student?’” The plush cat brought its little paw to its chin as Nora moved the ‘mouse’ rock around. It had a little bow tied like mouse ears on its head. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'Hmmmm.. I hear something, too! I can't tell what it is,'" Celena hummed. "'Sounds like a little creature!'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Eeheehee… ‘Not little.. it’s- it’s a giant mouse!!!’” She brought the mouse rock over to the dolls, moving it around like it was bouncing. “‘Now student.. let’s scare it away!!’” Nora brought out some string, tying it with a long loose end around her kitty’s paw. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'Whoa! It's bigger than I thought!'" Celena made her doll back away. "'Go away, spooky mouse!'" The little orbs of light floated close to the 'mouse' and danced around it in hopes of intimidating it. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora moved her doll, having its string whip at the mouse. “‘Go away!!’” The little string went under the rock, being ‘tugged’ by the mouse. “‘Oh no!! Let.. let go mouse!!’” Then, she brought the spider rock over, it was tied with loose strings hanging off, making little legs. “‘Oh no!! The spider.. the spider heard us!! Help student!!’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'Don't worry! I'll help with my light!'" The orbs of light went to the spider-rock. The little bundles began to bounce on the rock in an 'attack.' @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora pulled the spider away, making little hissing sounds. “‘You did it!! Very.. very good magic!!’” The string the mouse was holding wrapped around its ‘torso’, Nora pulled and knocked it over. She made little squeaking sounds and pulled it away. “Hee.. ‘Ha ha! We.. we did it student! Very good!!’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"'Good job! We did it!'" Celena smiled. "'What comes next?'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“‘Hmm.. we must go.. through the Deep Valley!! It is very deep… there.. could be snakes.. in the rocks. So we.. we must be careful. Into.. the valley!!’” Nora walked her kitty into the blanket, serving as the valley. “‘Hmm.. student, do.. do you see.. any snakes?’” Nora smiled as she made some loose strings wiggle around behind her cat. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'Mmmmm.. I don't think I see any snakes!'" Celena hummed. "'It looks clear to me!'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The strings sprang up, crawling onto the dolls. “‘Bwah!! S-snakes!! Eeewww.. d-don’t worry, my student!! I… I have a solution!!’” Nora made her cat strike a pose.

“‘We… must dance them away.’ Heeheehee.. ‘Are.. you.. ready?!!’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena gave a little laugh. Dancing was something she wasn't anticipating, but hey, it wouldn't be the first time dancing out of a sticky situation! clubdance

"'I'm ready!'" Celena made her little doll do a little groovy dance. DANCEDANCE

Nora giggled and wiggles her cat around. It’s not.. really a dance, but it shakes the string snakes away. The snakes fall off of Celena’s doll as well. “Heehee.. ‘Excellent dancing!! Now.. once we get through.. we will be at.. the Tiger Cave. It should.. should be easy from here!!’” Nora smiled mischievously, the leaf doll she created earlier flies over, dangling on a string. “‘Mwahaha… you.. FOOLS.. you will never reach.. TIGER CAVE!!’” Lowering her voice, Nora wiggles around the ‘Evil Monster’ doll. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena gasped dramatically. "'Oh no! Teacher, what should we do?!'" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“‘There is NOTHING you can do… I won’t let you.’” Nora pulls out some string, placing it around the hands of the evil monster. “‘I will.. control you!! Mwahaha!!’” Nora wiggled her cat around. “‘Oh no!!! Watch out student!!’” Little strings moved to grab Celena’s doll, before Nora’s moved in the way, caught in the string. “‘Mwahaha!! You are mine now.. witch!!’” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'Nooooooooooo!'" Celena's doll dropped to its knees dramatically. "'Let her go!'" An orb of light bounced to the Evil Monster doll as an attack. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“‘Mwahaha!! You… you call that magic?! How.. pathetic!! You will never… save her. Mwahaha!!!’” The cat dangled like a fly caught in a web. It lifted its head to Celena’s doll. “‘Student.. I.. believe in you.. the tiger.. he will guide you.. to the tower!! Wah!!’” The dolls were pulled away. Nora smiled to herself as she set aside the dolls, then gave a sad face towards Celena’s doll. “Oh no… you.. you are all alone now. The.. the student must.. must save her teacher!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"How pathetic. You'll never save ~~him~~ her." "You're all alone now." Celena blinked a few times as the words echoed in her mind. Her hand lowered the doll slightly as she thought of what should come next. "Uhm-.. I wonder how I could do this.." Celena spoke in a quieter voice. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Um… you.. you can go to.. Tiger Cave.” She was untying her cat from the strings, too busy to notice any change in her playmate. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Mmhm, y-yeah, I'll go there," Celena nodded. She had her doll bounce along, but she was lacking the energy she had before. She paused for a moment. ".. What if I'm not- Good enough?" She asked. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Bwuh? Um.. it’s.. it’s okay- um..” She tilted her head, she sounded much more sad than expected. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

Yeonaixho, who had been listening to the girls play but minding his own business, leaned forward as he noticed something in Celena's voice. "Celena, are you alright?" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Hm? Yeah, yeah, I'm- Okay.." Celena nodded her head somewhat absentmindedly. "I'm fine, we're- Going to Tiger Cave.." She didn't quite notice it, but the hand that was holding her doll was shaking slightly. @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺 @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She titled her head again, picking at some loose threads on her toy. “Mm.. okay. Well um.. are.. are you ready for.. Tiger Cave?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Mmhm, yeah.. Yeah, I'm ready.." She took in a deep breath. "Can we-.. Yeah, yeah, I'm ready, um.. How exactly do I get to Tiger Cave..?" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Can we..? Um, w-well.. I thought it.. would be fun if the.. the cave was.. we put the.. blanket over us?” She sounded worried. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Th-that-.. Uhm.. That sounds good.." Celena forced herself to smile before it faltered. In a small voice, she admitted, "I'm not too.. N-not too fond of the dark.. O-or caves.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh… that’s- that’s okay. We don’t.. we don’t have to. Um.. then we can.. hmm..” Nora took the blanket and spread it out on the ground, just enough for the dolls to sit on. “This.. this can be the cave.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Th-that works-" She glanced to the floor. ".. I'm sorry if I'm making this less fun.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Amphibians.. she didn’t know, but she did remember lizard! A few had crawled into the house before. She knew frogs from books..
