“Well, this is where it gets a bit complicated.” Celena shut her eyes. “In a fight, things are always moving at a fast pace. So, you need to be on alert for it. Your senses of hearing and feeling are gonna be the biggest supports in a fight.” “With hearing, you’ll be able to tell where your opponent is by their steps or where their weapon is by the sound of the swing. Then, you can base your movement on how to avoid them best.” @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"Right. Staying alert." Yeonaixho nodded. That made sense. In fact, most of this felt familiar- so similar to what he'd been taught when he was first learning to navigate without his sight, yet with a more combative twist. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"You'll eventually start to get a feel for the presence of your opponent. If you focus enough, you can probably even feel where I'm at, if I wasn't talking." Celena hummed. "If you stay hooked on the familiarity of your opponent, you should be able to stand your ground pretty well." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"In a sense, I'm already pretty good at all that. I've had to track where people are for reasons other than combat for a while, so I'd say my spacial awareness is pretty good." He hummed, but fell silent so he could track any sounds or movements Celena made. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Nice, good, that's good for you," Celena smiled. "Now, we gotta work on your stance. You need to be set in a way that'll let you dart away quickly, like- Have your lead foot slightly ahead of your back foot. Then, have the heel of your back foot raised, and rest your weight on your toes. Boxers use this position when they're fighting in the ring. It allows them to dodge quickly and pivot away in combat." "Your arms, we'll keep one relatively close to your face and head so you can try and block an attack that might come for you. Your other hand, we'll have at the ready to fire off any attacks." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"Right..." Yeonaixho assumed a position close to what Celena described- his right foot slightly in front of his left, his weight rested on his toes. Similarly, he raised one hand closer to his face, his hand balled into a fist, though he didn't quite know what to do with the other. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"You could ball up your other hand and have it close to your face to also use it as a way to protect yourself," Celena spoke. "Then, when you want to strike, be sure to twist your torso slightly as you throw your fist forward. That'll help pack a bit more power into your punch." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

Yeonaixho moved his other hand close to his face, and threw a few test punches into the air. He wasn't the best at it, but he wasn't the worst. "Like this?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena immediately started to feel better. She was in awe of how Yeonaixho's abilities worked, as this was her first time experiencing healing from another individual. "Thank you," The girl smiled. Yeonaixho closed his eyes as the blanket of light enveloped him, and put his hand to his shoulder as it was healed. Like Celena, this was his first time being healed by someone who wasn't himself, and he was very interested in the entire experience. "Huh, your powers are pretty impressive, too!" He smiled. Yeonaixho was already drifting into sleep- a more exhausted sleep than he had drifted into in quite some time, but a pleasant one. If he heard Celena's finally words, he didn't awknowledge them- perhaps, he had heard, and he was simply letting her rest. Perhaps, he had heard, and was too close to sleep to reply. Perhaps, he had heard, and he didn't know yet how to reply.
