Llinos was here, washing out sand from her shorts in the gently flowing water. She was only in her undergarments currently, but as you could probably tell, she gave no shits about nudity. She grumbled a bit to herself as the never ending sand just kept coming. It would take forever to get these clean. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Lykos found themself falling face first into sand. Hot sand. There was a big snarling wolf here now. “Rrraugh- Stars above- WHY IS IT SO FUCKING HOT.” The sudden change in temperature was disgusting. Their thick coat was made for cold- not blistering fucking sand!! Where are they. What is this place. The wolf looked around- person, beach, water- WATER. Llinos only glanced over as the wolf spawned in, really not giving a shit. She only started caring when it ran and kicked up even more sand to her wet shorts. Now it was even worse. "Shit!" She cursed, tossing the shorts down in to the stream in anger. Thankfully they sank instead of floating away. Probably because they were so full of sand. "What the fuck dog! Llinos almost finished cleaning sand out of her shorts! Now worse than ever! Fuck you!" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The water was not nearly as cold as Lykos needed to be and now they were wet. Plus that person was screaming at them now. It turned toward her and growled deep and low. “Fuck off.” Dark clumps of fur were washing away gradually with the tide, somewhat helping. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Lykos scoffed and trudged deeper into the water. Not enough to get into their eyes, but some did splash onto their mouth which was even more disgusting. “That bastard in that cloak is going to regret sending me here. Llinos is at 19 HP Yeah, she should have seen that one coming, but she also hadn't fought off a dog in a few weeks. A dog this size..? Probably not for a few months. The teeth sunk in and easily drew blood, sending streaks down the stream. "Grrrr- RAGH!" Llinos screamed to vent her pain. Well, seeing as her original strategy wasn't working out, Llinos knew she had to try something different as she was pulled toward the water. Her whole body began to glow and shrink down toward her hand, and she turned in to a toad past where Lykos was biting her. She hopped in to their mouth and they got a decent amount of that parotid gland bufotoxin. One, it tasted awful, and two, small tremors would begin to affect their movement if she wasn't removed. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Seeing her opportunity, and deciding to know when to somewhat quit, Llinos hopped out of his mouth and plunged in to the water below. The effects of the poison would last for the next few minutes. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Eugh… ffffucking.. toad.” God they felt awful. On top of being unbearably hot and sopping wet, they felt.. dizzy. And their mouth tasted utterly foul. Sick as a dog. The wounded and bleeding toad simply swam upstream from Lykos and crawled up on shore, laying there and basking up the heat. Oh good ol pokilothermy! @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

After some time resting, Llinos turned human again, her only injuries being the ones she got in her human form before. She was laying on her back, basking up the sun. "Llinos hasn't fought a dog like you in a while." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

After Lykos had left, the next creature to appear was a gangly one with long tail, red mane and some sort of skirt made out of a palm leaf. And that was all the critter was wearing. They were scanning the beach with their head low, and a sour expression on their face. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Llinos was still lying on her back, arms crossed behind her head, really absorbing all the sunshine. This creature was dressed similarly to Kian actually- only having some underwear on for the bare minimum of decency. She was humming to herself, splashing her feet around the water. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran walked closer, seemingly not noticing or paying attention to Llinos. Once they got so close they their wandering gaze inevitably fell on the other, they stopped for a moment to stare with the same sour expression, otherwise not reacting to Llinos' presence. Kiran paused when they were talked to. They seemed genuinely surprised and confused at the comment. "I smell bad? What do I smell like?" Kiran had never really considered having any distinct smell. They were mostly metal and some plastic-like material. Their sense of smell wasn't too good, but they lifted their arm and tried to take a wiff. "Maybe the avesaurus stench has rubbed on me?" they mumbled. That, or maybe the stream water, the palm leaf, or the oily fake blood in their system? "I'm a lerava", they said to Llinos' creature comment. "What are you?" they asked. "A car." Llinos chuckled a little. "And Llinos has never heard of a Le-vara. Llinos is a toadlin. Llinos' toad legs are just hidden right now." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"A car?" Kiran repeated, again a little surprised and confused. Suppose that made sense. They grunted and shrugged. "Yeaah, I don't think there's many of us outside of Velos. "There are a lot more frogs than toads. Well, there were, now Llinos is sure there's more toads. Froglings have been losing back to back at everything, it's pretty funny." Llinos sat up and began dusting the sand off her back. "And no, Avis is just another country." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"There's fish on Velos too, though probably different. And maybe? I don't really know how that works. But I guess if they're closer to Earth they would be able to observe it better. Kiran glanced over with a bit annoyed expression. "What do you mean 'what does that mean?' It means there's no purpose. Everything exists out of sheer luck and coincidence. Just as well it could not. A bunch of stardust gathered together in the void of space, and formed a planet. No plan, no purpose, just physics and coincidence. Another coincidence would be that on that planet were optimal conditions for some substances to form into living things, and over millions of years, they would evolve to be more complicated. Nobody told them to do that. It just happens." Kiran shrugged, wondering why they were even talking about something like this with this stranger. ... There was another crab in the stream. This one was sand free due to the flowing water. It was scuttling about toward some rocks. "Do you know anything more about them? Llinos' parents didn't talk about them much. Apparently toads don't like them." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Uhmm..." The other crab stole Kiran's attention for a while. Their tail curled into a spiral. "Mm... not much. I know they had like a show where they followed some species they had made. And I heard they're very violent and war-loving people with mass-destruction weapons and all. Like, I assume interstellar level mass-destruction levels." They sneaked a bit closer to the crab. "Can you eat these?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. A show? What's that." Llinos asked. "Like a play? And yes. Eat the crabs before Tai'Tana eats all of them." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Yeah, kinda like a play, but I assume without a script. It was more like a documentary." They set themself on the ground in a stalking position. Truth be told, they had never hunted before, but it was first time for everything. They pounced.

The crab tried scuttling under a rock quicklt to avoid Kiran but it ended up jamming one of its legs in to a crevice and getting stuck there. Easy pickings. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Yeah, I dunno. The kid seemed to like it", Kiran shrugged. They scrunched their nose at Llinos' suggestion as they looked at the flailing creature. They stuck their tongue out at it slightly, before quickly retracting it. They sighed, and gingerly took one of the crab's legs between their teeth. The crab moved violently as its leg was ripped off, trying to snip at Kiran. The meat tasted fine though. Just normal crab but larger. "The kid? Is Llinos supposed to know who that is." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran flinched and held the crab at an arms length away, and whipped their tail. Their face scrunched up at the feeling of the crunchy crab leg in their mouth, and the sight of it bleeding blue liquid and trashing around. Kiran moved the crab leg into their left cheek and glanced at Llinos. "Nah, uh. It's my, um... the... people I live with... their kid", they explained, before turning back to the crab, their tail still whipping and splashing the water. Yep. Schhhhhloooooorp. Crab meat. Nearly hourmet. Since he was suckin out from the carapace of the crab he'd get all the guts and gross parts that people usually avoided too. But nutrition is nutrition..? "Are you a babysitter." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran felt like gagging, but gulp down it went in one thick, strained swallow. They covered their mouth after that to pull a face, dangling their tongue out. The taste wasn't all that bad, it was mostly the texture and concept of eating a creature alive. For a moment they froze in a horrid thought of what if the crab was still alive in their stomach?? They shook their head intensily, and bent down to the stream to lap some water to recover from the experience. Once they straightened up and turned to Llinos again, they seemed mildly nauseous. The crab could definitely not survive having all of its guts sucked out. "Interesting. Llinos does not get along with kids. Not that she even sees many. What's that kid like." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"He's an avesaurus", Kiran replied, before turning his attention back to the crab. They tried to bite the hole on it a bit larger so they could fit their tongue properly in and lick the remaining insides out. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Llinos has never heard of that. What do they look like." She asked. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"They are like. Big lizards. Reeally big lizards, but they only have two arms and eyes, and no horns. And they have feathers. All colourful and stuff", Kiran described, and cleaned the crab shell clean inside-out. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
