Zora led Nora around before they came upon the zoo entrance. She looked at it with wide eyes. ".. Do you wanna go in? It might be fun." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora also had wide eyes. “It’s… mm, a zoo..? I wanna go in. Mm.. maybe there’s.. tigers..” She sounded a little excited. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Maybe! Tigers sound nice," Zora hummed. "I like them, they're just giant cats." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She smiled weakly. “Mhm… big kitties.” She glanced around and saw the ‘Gaster’ enclosure. Those didn’t seem like tigers. “Do you.. um, is there a-an animal.. you wanna see?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Well- I like pandas a lot, but I don’t think they’d have pandas here,” Zora hummed in thought. “It’d be really nice to see a panda!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora continued on and looked into the Kofka and Koska enclosure. “Mm, what are… Ko… um, what are these?” She could see a little bit of the animal… it looked like a cat! @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I.. Don’t know,” Zora looked into the enclosure, a bit confused. “In my time of being immortal, I haven’t seen that animal before.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She still couldn’t see either animal… Nora leaned in a bit to try and see them better. “I think… it’s a kitty… mm, I- I can’t see it..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Still no kitty… “Hmm… can’t see… I wanna see…” She was rocking a little against the railing. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I don’t think we can see them from here,” Zora hummed. “I wish there was a way we could get their attention.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Get their attention… Nora stepped back a little and started wrapping up a string ball! She tossed it down…. and there came the Koska! It poked its head out… and then another head. And another. Nora squealed excitedly. “Eeee!!!!! Kitty!! Eehee, Zora!!! Hee, l-look!!!! Three kittys!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Whoa!” Zora’s eyes widened joyfully. She looked at the kitties with excitement. “Aww!! There they are!! The ball of string worked!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Three sets of blue eyes gazed playfully at the ball, and a paw reached out to bat at it. The ball rolled away and the Koska gave chase! Three heads lead down to one body, pouncing hard onto the ball as each tried to catch the ball in their maws. Nora looked thrilled!! She leaned against the railing, bouncing excitedly. “Eeee!!!! “Eehee… meow meeoww!” The Koska heads battled for the ball, eventually knocking it away and sending the animal pouncing after it. “Eee.. kittys.. sspace kittys.. eheheheee!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Zora leaned against the railing, humming quietly to herself. "This is nice- I'm glad that we came here.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mhm!” It was certainly helping distract her from her sadness. The Koska pounced on the ball again, this time ripping it apart. Each head got to have its own piece now! “Mm… let’s- let’s go look more!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Mmhm!” Zora smiled. “Lead the way, Nora!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora leads her over to another pit type enclosure. Tall grass covers the habitat, where a few large orange rocks jut out to form a sunning area on top and small cave below. An acacia tree creates a nice shaded area, where two lions rest. Nora bounces excitedly, pointing to the big cats. “Eeee, Zora!!! Eheheheee, mmore kitties!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"Whoaaa!" Zora looked at them with wide eyes. "They're so big!! Look at how big they are! They look so cool!" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

One lion lazily opened an eye to stare at the girls. The other yawned wide showing off her sharp teeth. She leaned over to groom the head of the other lion, who closed her eyes to return to her nap. Nora drummed her hands excitedly on the railing. “Eeee, th-they’re friends!! Hee, so cute..!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Awwww!!! They’re so cute!!” Zora squealed. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Seems like the girls were getting the dose of cute animals they really needed. The lions continued to be super adorable. “Mm, I never.. um, there wasn’t.. a lotta animals where I.. um was.. I-I really like this. Hee..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

“Really? Huh, I wonder where they all came from if it was empty before,” Zora hummed. “I’m happy they’re here now so we can see them!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mhm! I- I never seen.. um, a lion b-before!! Mm… do you think, um.. R-Rakin.. took them here?” The Her smile wavered just a little as she said his name, but looking down at the peaceful faces of the lions brought it back in full force. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Oh, maybe,” Zora thought as she looked to the lions. “I haven’t thought about that. Maybe. That’d make some sense.. At least the lions look content here.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora nodded. “Mhm.. they look.. happy. Hee..” She glanced around the area, looking for the next enclosure. She spotted the fenced in area! Nora pointed to it. “Mm? Um, what.. what do you think.. lives in there?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Ooooooh, it depends! Different animals can live in a fenced in spot like that!” Zora beamed. “We’ll just have to see which one walks out of their little home!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora walks over to the fenced area, peering through the fence. There were five cows relaxing in the tall grass here! One was much smaller than the others, and seemed to be trying to get a bigger cow to play with it. “Cow..? Hee, th-they’re cute!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Awww!! Look at the little baby!” Zora beamed. “It’s so little!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora bounced on her heels happily. “B-baby cow! Eeheehee..” Hm.. the fence was getting in her way a bit. Nora eyed the fence for a moment before she started to climb it! Unfortunately she didn’t seem to have the balance for climbing.. She got to the third bar before toppling over into the pasture with a yelp. “WAH!! Ow… bwuh?” The baby cow seems to have noticed her. It let out a little moo and started trotting over. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Oop- Nora!" Well, if there was a pen to fall into, at least it was the pen with cows. If it was something a bit more dangerous- Well, that'd be a different story. "Well- It looks like you caught the baby cow's attention. Those are usually pretty nice and curious." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Better the cows than lions! The calf stopped a little ways away from the girl, eyeing her curiously and mooing once more. Nora seemed a little scared, moving slowly as she stood and dusted herself off. “I’m- I’m okay… mm, th-they’re nice..?” Carefully, she held up a hand and took a step towards the calf. It trotted over, shoving its nose into her hand. “Wah! I- I don’t have.. a-any food, cow.. mm? Oh!” She pet the calf’s face softly, smiling a bit. “Eee!! Zzora! Look!! Heee, you.. feel all fluffy, cow. Heehee..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Awww,” Zora giggled. “So cute! He really likes you!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The calf turned and mooed at Zora. “Hee… I think- I think it, um.. wants y-you to pet too!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Okay, okay," Zora giggled. She climbed over the fence and reached out to give the cow some well- deserved pets. "You can get some pets from me, too! You're so soft!" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The calf bumped its head into her hands with a happy moo! Nora smiled and stared to pet its neck. “Eeeheehee!! Moo! N-nice cowy, hee..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“It’s so cute!” Zora beamed. She paused momentarily at the sound of the announcement, before she continued to give plenty more pets. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Eehee.. it’s, um.. very nice cow. Um, are there.. cows live in.. farms, r-right? Are there any, um.. ffarms like- like at.. at home?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Mmhm, there’s one a good distance away, but it’s close enough to walk to if we don’t mind walking for a bit.” Zora hummed. She kept her gaze on the cow. “Cows, chickens, horses- All different kinds of animals are there.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Ch-chicken.. mm, you eat.. chicken? It’s a- a birdie, right? Mm, they look.. cute.” She gave the cow a little scratch. The calf decided to lay down while they pet it, closing its eyes in content. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Mmhm, it’s a birdie. They’re pretty nice, but can be a bit mean and protective.” Zora commented. “You have to be careful with chickens.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She nodded. “Mm. Don’t like mean.. oh!” Seems like the calf had enough of their petting. It stood up, mooing and trotting back over to its herd. “Mm, bye bye cowy!!” Nora watched the calf return, but her eyes trailed along to another animal in the pasture. She pointed at them. “Mm, Zora what’s- what are.. those?” They looked like goats! @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Bye, little cow!” Zora waved to the cow. “Oh- Those look like goats!! They can also be a bit feisty, but they’re good!! They’re friends but from a distance.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Goat.. goat, where had she heard that? Nathan had- he turned into a goat. She kinda wanted to see what that was like.. “Mm.. um, let’s- let’s go.. go look.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Zora definitely had no clue about the goat thing. Still, she nodded her head and led the way over to the goats. "Tada! Here they are!" Zora beamed.

Nora followed along! The goats were chewing away at all the vegetation they could reach. It seems there were also some baby goats in this herd! They were all playing together, jumping around and bleating noisily. “Oh! That’s… huh.. um, N-Nathan said… he- he could turn into a- a goat.. mm. They look.. funny?” She smiled. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

At the mention of Nathan, Iris' mood shifted slightly. Her hand slipped into the pocket of her cardigan as she felt the frog totem. "O-oh, did he say that?" She asked, hoping that she sounded enthusiastic as possible. "That's pretty cool! They do look a bit funny, but they're- Friendly." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora nodded, her smile faltering. “Mhm.” She reached into the folds of her dress, taking out a small clay bird. It was pretty misshapen at this point. She frowned. “Mm, w-we.. um, he helped me make zzanate. I- it’s not.. ffinished.” She tried fruitlessly to push it back to its correct form. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"A-aw, it still looks cute," Zora managed a small smile. She gingerly took out her small strawberry pot. ".. H-he made me this.. It's for a little plant.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She looked at the two gifts, a lump forming in her throat. “Mm, I- I remember..” Suddenly, there was a loud yell in their direction! Nora jumped, as a little group of baby goats bleated at them. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I-I miss-” Zora was cut off by the sound of the baby goats. A great distraction from the agony of a dead sibling! “Hi, little ones!” Zora greeted brightly. She even gave the baby goats a friendly little wave. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The goats’ tails were wagging happily! They trotted over to the girls, sniffing at their hands. Nora looked a little freaked out, she put away her zanate and watched Zora interact with them. “Mm, wh-why do.. um, why did it y-yell at me..?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“That’s kinda how they talk,” Zora giggled as they came closer. “They’re a bit loud even when they’re babies!” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

To punctuate Zora’s words, another goat bleated at them. “Mm, loud t-talking..” It was weird to think Nathan turned into one of these. Two goats in the back of the group started playing with each other, butting heads and jumping around. It was very cute! Then one went ridged and flopped over. “Huh? Wh- what happened to it??” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“It’s okay! Sometimes they do that if they get scared or alarmed. It’s like- A defense system. It’s okay!” Zora reassured. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora stared as the goat eventually unfroze and stood back up like nothing happened. “Th-that’s.. that’s weird.. weird goats..” Nora glanced back over to the cows, then back to the goats. “Mm, I- I think.. I don’t like- um.. I like cows mmore. Don’t like these..” She seemed a little overwhelmed. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"That's okay, they can be a bit much sometimes," Zora hummed. "We can go elsewhere, if you wanna." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She nodded quickly. “Mhm.. I- I wanna go.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Okay, we can go! At least we had some fun with the other animals. Wanna see the cows again before we leave? Maybe the baby'll let us pet it again." Zora suggested. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

It was mostly fun! She did really like the cows. “Mhm, cowy’s nice.. it’s not- not as loud. Mm… um, I wanna- wanna see.. the cows again.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"Alright, then let's head back over!" Zora beamed. She offered her hand to Nora to lead the way back to the cows. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora took her hand, squeezing it lightly. The calf was chewing a bit of grass, it looked up at the girls, watching them as they approached. Nora watched the cow, seeming to calm a little. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

The cow trotted over, nosing around at their hands once more. “Hi c-cowy…” Nora pet the calf softly on its head. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Zora smiled as the cow approached. She spoke up. “When I was little, my dad was the one in charge of the crops, and we’d help with the farm animals,” She chuckled. “I named a cow Fresa in hopes that it’d make strawberry milk. I was really disappointed when it didn’t, but it was still a really good friend to have around.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

That made her smile. “Eehee.. sstrawberry milk.. th-that sounds yummy. What’s a- a crop?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Oh! A crop is like, the farmland. You know, all the lines of vegetables and fruits. ‘Crop’ is just kinda a general term for it.” Zora beamed. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mm, okay! Um… h-how do.. you, um, get sstrawberry milk? Is- do s-special cows… or- or sstrawberries, um.. mmake it?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I wish there were special cows that did it, because then we’d have pink cows! But I’ve seen people make strawberry milk with a powder that’s pink.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh.. mm, p-pink cows.. would be v-very cute, hee… pink p-powder?” Her eyes lit up. “Like- like ffairy dust?!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"It could be like fairy dust!" Zora beamed. "It's like a magical powder!" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Eeee!! Sstrawberry fairies!! Eehee.. mmaybe.. fairies can- can make sstrawberry cows!!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Maybe! That’d be nice- I’d love to see one some day.” Zora hummed. Very nice, very magical. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mhm! Me too. I wanna see.. dr-dragons and fairies.. and a- a sstrawberry cow. Heehee..” Nora continued to pet the little calf, who seemed happy to listen as long as it was getting pets. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Maybe we’ll be able to see it all one day,” Zora spoke with a smile. “I’d like to see it all with you.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled back. “Yeah! I wanna- mhm, ssee it.. with you. Hee, maybe we- we can have.. our own dragons… l-like Mister Riki ssaid..” Her smile faltered slightly. “W-we’ll be.. together always, r-right?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"R-right," Zora held up a pinkie. "We can pinkie promise on it." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Promise. Her smile fell away completely as Nora stared at her hand. “N-no promising- pr-promises are.. are bad..” How do you promise without promising? What is a swear but a promise? “J-just.. say w-we’ll be together.. I- promises always… n-never good..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Zora lowered her hand. Oh, okay, no pinkie promises or any promises, gotcha. "Okay, okay, we don't gotta promise on it, we can just- Say we'll be together, then, just like you said!" Zora made herself speak in a bubbly voice. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She nodded. “Th-thank you.. together a-always..” She held open her arms. “Hug?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Hug." Zora instantly moved closer and gave Nora a nice and big, reassuring hug. Hug! @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora hugged her tight, feeling a bit better already. It seems like the calf was missing the attention. It butted its snout into Zora’s side! @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Zora giggled as the cow butted her gently. "I think the cow wants to join in on the hug." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled again. “Hee.. okay cowy, y-you can.. we’ll hug you t-too.” She moved to softly hug the calf, petting it while she did. It looked at Zora expectantly. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Nora stayed there for a while, gently petting the cow quietly. The announcement rang out. Nora turned to Zora, looking upset. “C-Connie… I wanna go. I- Connie.. and M-Mister Moses, they’re..they were nice, f-friends..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"I wanna go, too. I taught Connie Spinjitzu, she- She should stand a chance. I don't know Moses, but- I really, really don't want Connie to lose." Zora took in a deep breath. "Let's go.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mhm.. let’s go. Bye- bye cowy..” She raised her hand and was zapped away. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu
