(making a thread cause there are a lot of people in here) Scott followed Ko this time around as they approached the bigger building. Before entering they could already hear voices of others inside. "Someone's here! Maybe other people like us?" Scott was hoping they were friendly like Ko as well. @Shae | Ko

“Maybe, what are the chances that they’re friendly versus hostile” Ko, asked. Opening the door slightly as she peered inside. “Either way it looks like we found the beds.” @Mister Jokestar

Scott tried to peek inside, he saw beds and a few people, and... A dog? "Well... They don't look like crazy murderers. Maybe we can ask get along?" @Shae | Ko (edited)

“Appearances can be deceiving,” Ko warned. More out of habit than an actual belief that the people inside would turn out violent. “But I suppose I can follow your lead in hoping for the best. If they do turn out to want us dead we can always run.” @Mister Jokestar

"I don't know if I want to engage them but... It's cold out here, so I guess we can head in." Scott pulled the door more open and moved inside taking stock of the beds. "These are a bit scratchy blankets but they seem like they will be very warm at least." @Shae | Ko

Despite herself Ko’s eyes narrowed as she followed after Scott. Unable to help sizing up the other people in the room. “Warm is good,” she spoke, running a hand over the blankets. Perhaps too heavy to carry around. But if she turned one into a charm then maybe. “The blanket shouldn’t touch your skin too much so long as we keep our layers on. Just hands and face would be the contact points.” @Mister Jokestar

"Oh I plan to keep my clothes on. One thing you learn on the street is keep the clothes on, or loose them to whoever comes when you're sleeping." Scott sat on the edge of a bed, and the springs made a groaning squeak. He tried listening in to the others in the room. They didn't seem all quite there. And the dog... Was speaking. It was very interesting. "Do you have powers Ko?" @Shae | Ko

“I do,” she admitted, seeing as Scott so far was genuine in not wishing any harm she saw no need to avoid his questions. “I hope they’ll help me survive this place. Why do you ask?” @Mister Jokestar

"The wolf is talking, I have a deck of magic cards... I've been in a similar situation where people were chosen because of powers or such... Though it wasn't as deadly. I guess I was just trying to confirm it." He took out his deck again and offered it to Ko to examine. "It has caused a bit of trouble with the attention it has given me, without then I'm just a normal person... Oh try not to pull a card out." @Shae | Ko

She took the offered deck, glancing at them curiously before handing them back. “I have a few thanks to my heritage. My family cares for the spirits and in turn they’ve blessed us with a few fortunes. Some of which take the form of powers,” she explained. “Though if that’s the reason I was taken from my home to be here I’m not sure it’s quite the blessing it’s supposed to be.” @Mister Jokestar

When Ko examined the deck, she would see that it was mostly a simple box, white with a black accent, except for the icon on the front, a pentagram with a dot in the center, in red. Written above the symbol was 'Infernum et retro' Scott accepted the cards back and skipped them back in a pocket. "I know you don't want to get too much hope up for nothing, but anything I find out, I'll let you know. You were nice to me and helped me out with it knowing me so it's the least I can do. Your family will see you again." @Shae | Ko

“Thank you Scott, I do appreciate it. Of all the people I could’ve run into first in this place I am glad it was you.” Ko admitted, “and I will do my best to get you back to your fiancé as well.” @Mister Jokestar

(Now seems like a good breaking off point if you would like to interact with other people, or have scott and Ko aproach others together, what do you think, @Shae | Ko )

"Now that we found this area, I think I'm gonna try and get a nap in before stuff kicks off." He wasn't sure if he'd get any actual sleep, but getting under a blanket and warming up just felt like a good idea. "I'll see you later. And by then we might both have more information to share as well." @Shae | Ko

“Very well, I’m going to keep looking around in the meantime. Take care Scott,” Ko spoke. Glancing off into the remaining woods as she set off. @Mister Jokestar
