Seeing everyone come together was reassuring to see. Sovran started to feel more and more confident in their numbers. It made his heart rest a bit easier. His leg was beginning to ache again, so Sovran decided to take a seat at a table. He sat down with a groan and rested his crutches against the table. Sitting felt nice, very nice. "Do you wanna take a seat too, Nora?" Zora asked softly. "We can take a seat and be cozy.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora looked a little overwhelmed. There were a lot of people here and all of them were talking about different things and.. “mm.. I wanna sit, mhm.” Mister Sovran was nearby, Nora stared at him for a moment. He was very nice to her, but she didn’t know him very well. Zora and papa seemed to like and trust him, though.. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Is- Sitting with Sovran okay? He's familiar and- I know he's safe to be around.." Zora offered her a small smile. "H-he's good.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mrr? Um, mhm.. um, h-how do.. you know M-Mister Sovran?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"I-it's a bit of a story," Zora admitted with a small chuckle. She used her free hand to run it through her hair. "It was- A l-long time ago, it feels like it, but- Back in one of the other towns I had lived in, they.. Posted some posters for some help, because there were a lot of Serpentine attacks happening.." "Since I'm a healer, I-I offered to help, but Sovran had been passing through a-and offered to help, too, so it was h-him and I who went out to find out where the Serpentine were at. H-he kept me safe, and I ended up s-saving his life with my healing, s-so- I trust him a lot.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora listened attentively, tilting her head curiously. “Mm.. wh-what’s a ss..sserpin..tine? It’s- it’s nice, um.. you could h-help each other.” She looked back over to him, continuing to stare. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran was just chilling and sitting. His hand was rubbing the stump of his leg. Seemed that it was bugging him more than he had let on earlier. "The Serpentine- Th-they're a group of snake people who can walk on two feet. Some of them have some abilities, a-and- Things are peaceful with them now, b-but before, they used to attack a lot of people a-and raid a lot of villages, so- It was a m-mess before," Zora cleared her throat to steady herself. "It's okay now.. B-but it was really scary before, but Sovran helped us out a l-lot.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora squeezed Zora’s hand as she talked. “Mm… y-you fought but.. now it’s okay?” Nora tilted her head at Sovran, and pulled on Zora’s hand just a little. “..M-Mister Sovran is hurt, um.. c-can you help him?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Mmhm, it's okay. They live in their own area now, and things are just a lot better for everyone. Everyone seems happy now," Zora squeezed Nora's hand back. It was always a bit stressful to talk about the Serpentine and that Early Ninjago Trauma™️ that she had, but she didn't let those icky feelings overwhelm her. There were too many things to focus on right now. "Y-yeah, yeah, I can help him," Zora immediately looked over to him. "D-do you know what's wrong?" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled a little at that. It was nice to hear something good happened, even with people who were fighting.. “That’s good.. Um… I- I think his.. his leg hurts? H-he went to papa ffor help, um… maybe it’s- it’s not.. all better?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"M-Maybe not, it's a bad injury, a-and its still kinda fresh, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's still hurting him," Zora glanced to the older man with concern. "Y-yeah, I can help him out.. We can go and sit with him, I'm sure he wouldn't mind the company.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora nodded, watching the man closely. After a moment, Nora started moving to the seat near Sovran. “..Hello. Um.. does your- your leg hurt.. M-Mister Sovran?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

When Nora and Zora approached, Sovran sat up a bit straighter. He moved his hand away from his leg and gave them both a smile. "You don't gotta call me 'Mister Sovran,' kid, just Sovran's okay with me," Sovran spoke gently. "As for my leg, it's doin' alright-" Zora gave him a pointed look. bruh

".. It might hurt a lil' bit," Sovran admitted. "But it ain't too bad." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh, um… sssovran. Um.. wh-why don’t you, um.. h-heal your leg if- if it hurts?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Honestly, kid, that's a good idea," Sovran chuckled. "'suppose it just sort of slipped my mind that I could- My brain's been a bit foggy after losin' it, if I'm honest." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora tilted her head curiously. “Mm, y-you ffforgot? Um… d-did your brain.. was it sscary and- and it made.. y-you fforgot?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

Sovran's smile softened. "Y'know, kid, I think so. Been a lot on my mind, guess it might've organized some of my thoughts around to what's least scary to what's most." Zora's pointed look dissolved into a sympathetic expression. "We understand, I can heal that up for you, if you'd like, Sov." "I'd appreciate that a lot, Z." Sovran smiled. "Thank you." The girl took a seat at the table and hovered a hand over Sovran's stump. Light appeared, and the process began to heal what was hurting the man. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora gave him a soft look, worry and care clear on the girl’s face. “Mm.. um, it’s- it’s hard.. t-to.. to do things and- and think.. when y-you’re sscared…” Nora fidgeted for a moment, before pulling out an orange cat plush from the crook of her arm. It was small and worn, but clearly loved and well taken care of. “Um.. this is Kitty.. they’re my friend, and um… wh-when I’m sad or- or sscared I.. I pet her and ffeel better.” She was so disoriented before she had forgotten about her little friend, like Sovran had forgot too. She held out the toy to him. “Y-you can hold it.. a-and feel better.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

"It is pretty rough," Sovran nodded. "But, we do the best we can when it happens." At the sight of her plushie, Sovran smiled. "That's very kind of you, Nora. Thank you, kiddo. I'm already startin' to feel better, if I'm honest." He looked at Kitty. "Hi there, Kitty, pleasure to meet you," The man reached out and used his pointer finger and thumb to take Kitty's paw. He gave the plushie a little handshake. "The name's Sovran." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled. The little toy moved its other paw over Sovran’s fingers, patting them gently. Little beads shifted inside the paws. “Hee… um, sh-she likes you.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Whoa there, that’s pretty impressive,” Sovran grinned. “I like you too, Kitty. You’re mighty sweet, just like your friend, Nora.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled even more! “Eehee.. mm, y-you’re… um, mmighty.. nice, m- um, S-Sovran.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Aw, thank you, kid,” Sovran grinned. “I appreciate that.” He went from shaking Kitty’s hand to gently petting the little stuffed toy. It was clear that she meant a lot to Nora, so he was sure to be gentle in handling the plush. Zora, meanwhile, continued to have her light over Sovran’s leg. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora rocked on her heals lightly. “Mhm! Um, Zora l-likes you and… and papa likes you, sso.. so I like you t-too!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Aw, thanks kiddo. I like you a bunch, too,” Sovran chuckled. Zora hummed a little. It was nice to see them both chilling and getting along. After a few moments, she retracted her light. “How does that feel?” She asked. “Feels alright, thank you,” Sovran smiled. “Much, much better than it had been before.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Eehee.. um, I’m- my name.. is Nora n-not.. kiddo. Mm.. I-I’m glad you- you’re better, Ssovran.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Right, sorry ‘bout that, Nora,” Sovran chuckled. “That’s just a go-to nickname with you kids. If you’d prefer it, I could just call you Nora, then.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Alrighty, sounds good to me. Noraaa, got it,” Sovran grinned and gave her a thumbs up before he tapped his temple with his pointer finger. “Now I got it engraved up here, so I won’t forget it now.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Heehee.. Noraaaa.” She tapped at her head too, smiling. “Mm, um wh-what h.. happened t-to your leg, sssovran?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Ah, the loaded rough question. Sovran glanced down to his stump and let out a little sigh, though he continued to smile. “There’s a kid here, probably ‘bout the same age as you,” Sovran spoke. “He has several powers, and he can’t quite control some of ‘em. One of those powers was poison. One of my abilities is that I’m able to take a power from someone, so that’s what I did, because poison would hurt him. It ended up hurtin’ me too, but it’s alright.” He flashed Nora a grin. “I’ll be able to better bounce back from this once we’re out of here. Who knows, maybe I’ll get myself a cool replacement leg.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh, it.. mm, accident… that’s sscary…. It- um, did it.. p-poisoned y-your leg? Mm, Nathan ssaid he- he had um.. poison beffore and it- um, it… it mmelted things. Did it melt y-your leg?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

“Mmhm, an accident. Accidents happen, and it ain’t anyone’s fault,” Sovran hummed. “It did poison my leg, yeah, and it did melt it.” Zora frowned slightly and looked at his leg. She found herself wishing that her healing was capable of doing more. Regeneration was always off the table with her abilities, but at this moment, she desperately wished that she had those abilities. “I’m sorry t-to hear that, Sovran..” Zora spoke softly. The man gave a small chuckle and reached out, ruffling her hair with a hand. “It’s alright, I don’t regret it. I’d do anythin’ to help you kids out.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora looked at his leg and had a sour little look. “Bleeh… mm, Nathan’s kinda melty, but, um.. he’s made of- of clay, I thhink… so he melts in clay. Not, um, p-poison. Mmm.. maybe N-Nathan can.. can make you a- a clay leg..” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Huh, y’know, that’s actually a pretty great idea,” Sovran chuckled. He lowered his hand as his other continued to give Kitty some pets. “I never considered that someone could have a leg made out of clay. Pretty smart idea, Nora. Maybe I’ll have a talk with him, see what we could probably do.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Kitty had soft fur, occasionally it would be interrupted by a few little stitches of red string along sowed tears in the toy. Parts of its fur were rubbed off as well, attesting to how old, and well loved the toy was. Nora smiled, rocking happily. “Y-you should ask!! Nathan likes mmaking things too- um, I- I think.. mmhm, ask him.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

Sovran hummed as he continued to pet the kitty. "I'll definitely ask him, and plus, it bein' made out of clay means that we could decorate it before it dries," Sovran smiled. "You seem pretty crafty, Nora. Would that be somethin' you'd mind helpin' me out in, in decoratin' it with some nice designs?" @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora looked elated. “Eeeeeheehee, yes!!! I- eehee, I- I love making stuff!! Um, what do.. do you want on it, um- I can- can draw pretty fflowers!” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"I'd like that a lot, flowers and the such," Sovran grinned. He genuinely looked happy at the idea of having pretty flowers on his prosthetic. "Do you happen to know how to make lilies? I'm mighty fond of 'em." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Lilies? “Ummm…. Th-those are… they have the- the big.. the big leaves, um.. that ffrogies sit on, r-right?” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Close,” Sovran chuckled. “Those are lily pads that lil’ frogs like to sit on, lilies are flowers. They’re usually pretty decent sized. I like any kind of flower, though, so you’re free to draw any kind that you’d like! I’d like anythin’ that you’d make.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Mm, okay! Umm, wh-when we.. go h-home, um, I… w-we go to the- the library and.. and ffind books with- with flowers! And- and you pick a.. the oness you like a-and I draw them!! Hee..” Nora smiled brightly at him. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu (edited)

“That so? Well then, we’ll definitely have to find a book that has tons of pictures, then! I’m sure it’ll be a blast pickin’ some out. “I think that’s ’bout it, maybe you and Zora could brainstorm some ideas for me. Make it a bit of a surprise,” Sovran grinned. He glanced around and spotted Nathan off to the side. Maybe he could talk with him real quick. “Though, I spot Nathan right now. Maybe I’ll pitch the leg idea to him, see what he has to say ‘bout it, yeah?” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora smiled back, and moved her kitty back into the cradle of her arms. She squeezed it softly and nodded her head. “Mm, okay! Bye-bye Sovran!” Nora looked happily over to Zora. “Hee… he- he is r-really nice.” @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran smiled and gave the girls a wave. He got up to his foot and used his crutches to head to Nathan. “Mmhm, he’s really nice,” Zora smiled. “I’m glad th-that you like him! He’s a really good guy.” @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺
