Floor 13: Nora was back in that delipidated house. It was a week and a half before she was abducted. Her dolls were all lined up in their places. Dead rat and mouse carcasses lined the floor. A baby could be heard crying from beyond the door on the broken hinges leading downstairs. A record player on the far side of the room spun a record.. She was just with her family and then- Home. She was home. Her siblings weren’t here. Her blanket was gone. Frantically she looked for her kitty- safe. When did she? Everything was how it should be. It was home. It was dark out. He would be returning soon. Breath seized in her throat and she stood shakily. His footsteps were getting closer. Floor 12: As Nora ran down the creaky stairs, the room just got darker and darker. Heavy footsteps could be heard following her. Ahead of her was a dark hallway, but occasionally, glimpses of light could be seen reflecting off of porcelein dolls. They were everywhere. Old, broken down, someitmes broken, porcelein dolls. They hung from the ceiling, or sat in rotted out chairs, or even stood in her path. They never moved. Until she did. Their heads moved to track her movement. The baby could still be heard crying at the end of the dark hallway.. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Broken dolls, they always made her feel sad for them. She never knew how to fix them. They would stare at her in their shelves, shattered, never whole. She hugged herself tightly and kept moving.. The movement made her stop. Was he- she never knew if he could see through through them but he always acted like- Nora bit her lip and ran down the hall. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

At the end of the dark hallway, there were two tables on either side of a door with two large locks placed on it. On the table on the left, there was a mannequin of Juno. He was wearing his robe that he had been brought back in. The only part of his body that seemed jointed was his mouth, and something metallic glistened on the inside. On the table to the right, there was a similar setup with Celena. A mannequin wearing the last thing Nora had seen her wearing. Something glistened in her mouth. Slow, heavy footsteps were still approaching her from behind. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She felt sick. It even smelled like home. Dust everywhere and mold and rats. When did she get home? Was this home? It was different, but- She was doing her best to keep her breathing quiet- he could hear her he was going to be there and he was going to- Nora ran to the table with Zora. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Celena's doll did not react to her movement. The item still glistened in her mouth. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora stared at the doll. Perfectly still. She reached her hand in. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The doll did not move. Nora pulled out one key. The footsteps were approaching. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Cold, nothing like the real person. She gripped the key tightly and moved to the other doll. She reached for the other key, trying to be quick. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

Keys- keys go to door. She quickly shoved the keys into place, trying to be fast. He was getting closer. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The locks opened up. The heavy footsteps could still be heard. But now, there sounded like a mass of tiny, reverberating footsteps accompanying it. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora grabbed for the handle with shaking hands, pulling as hard as she could. There was a quiet mantra of “let me go let me go please please please open-” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The door opened with a loud creak. Go Nora go. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She’s going. But she glanced behind her. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

In that moment, a flash of lightning illuminated the scene behind her. Practically at her heels, the army of dolls paused. There were at least two hundred all standing there, staring blankly up at her. They didn't move as long as she was staring. But the one set of heavy footsteps still continued. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Floor 11: As she ran up the stairs, the clattering of dolls followed her. They were rapidly catching up. As she crossed the threshold, they were right at her feels. The baby could still be heard crying at the end of the hallway. But it sounded so far away. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 (edited)

She wasn't quick enough. Some of the dolls caught up with her. They grabbed her ankles and knocked her over. As soon as she was on the floor, three different groups of the dolls got to her. With what little strength they had in their porcelain bodies, they began to punch and kick her. That amount of dolls was pretty heavy. The loud footsteps were still coming. Nora screamed as the caught up to her, frantically kicking and crawling away from them. She managed to get up, she kept running. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

She runs to the end of the hallway. There is another door. There are no locks. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Floor 10: The door closed behind her. Down the stairs she went. There were no more footsteps following after her. It was just silent as the hallway stretched on. There was no crying. Just the feeling of being watched from all angles. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She could feel the pressure of judging eyes. She knew he was disappointed in her- maybe if she kept running she could get away. She kept going. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The feeling of eyes got more intense as she kept going. Was the room getting smaller? @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She didn’t know. Everything felt too close the walls were closing in- She kept going. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

She had been walking for what felt like ages. She swore she could hear him talking to her.. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

There was nothing but the sound of her breathing. No more wailing. No more music. She kept going. ”Nora.” She froze. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

She looked around, just her eyes, where-? ”Where do you think you’re going, brat. I’m not finished with you. I’ve already told you- hundreds of times that there’s nothing for you out there.” She covered her ears, taking a step forward in the collapsing hall. “y-you’re not- not real. As Nora continued on through the voices, she eventually arrived at the end of the hall.. There was no door. Just a broken down wall revealing a ten story fall. The sound of crying switched to be in the direction she had just come from. The direction of the dolls and him. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She stared at the fall. Vertigo tipping her forward- Her hands clenched tight, nails digging into her palms. Slowly. She turned around, away from the drop. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

The hallway gradually got bigger again as she retreated back. Nothing else happened. She reached the door she came from.. She could open it.. But what if all the dolls and him were there? @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

He could be there, all of the dolls and his horrible powers- but what else was there? She glanced back to the hole.. She turned the handle. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

As the creaky door swung open.. There was nothing. The stairs had changed to go down now. The baby was crying down there. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nothing. [slight self harm] She dug her nails into her scalp, pulling her hair and went down the dark stairs. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

Floor 9: As Nora reached the bottom of the floor platform, she was confronted with... Herself. Blood was strewn across her red outfit and broken red strings hung down from her fingers. She mirrored Nora's every move. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora stared with wide eyes at her. Her outfit was the same as hers, but torn and ragged. She instinctively pulled at her own clothes, feeling for the same tears. “….h..why..?” She took a step forward. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

... She took a step back. The clothes the real Nora wore were not so patchy. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

They kept walking in tandem to the opposite door, where the fake Nora began to more closely block her path. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora paused as she stepped in front of her. “…um… p-please.. please move…” …Nora reached out to the other her, slowly. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

….she didn’t trust her to not hurt her, but.. she was doing everything she was.. She gently touched her hand, like placing your finger against a mirror. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Her duplicate felt cold and stiff. She only stared on blankly. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

…Nora pivoted to the side, facing to the left. Her fingers still touching the other her, hoping she would move with her. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

She continued moving perfectly in sync... @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora let out a breath. “Th-thank you….” She started side stepping towards the door. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The other Nora just stared on. The footsteps were suddenly back from the direction she had come from. He was coming for that other her. The door was beckoning her to leave. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She jumped, looking between the door and the other her. “I- I’m ssorry-“ She ran through the door. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

Floor 8: She would never know what happened to that other her... Down she went. If she looked back up, she would see that the other Nora had her hand reached out, pressing against some invisible barrier.. But nevermind that! In this hallway, mirrors lined the walls... @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The next mirror showed her.. At least, it felt like it was her. She was a baby, being held by two people who looked a lot like her.. But she had never seen them in her life. They looked like they absolutely adored her. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Nora stared at this for much longer. They did look like her. Dark skin, dark hair. The woman had amber eyes like her. The man was holding her in a rocking chair, mouthing something to her. The woman was holding her kitty, handing it to her- the baby. It looked so.. warm. Peaceful. She didn’t remember them. Couldn’t. She shut her eyes and turned away. As Nora walked away from it, the glass shattered in the mirror.. The next showed her, Celena, and Nathan relaxing in some flower fields. They didn't look like anything they had here. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She flinched at the sound and kept going. Her eyes flickered to the next. Her family. Her real family. Never abandoned her. She kept going. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Nora had tried, tried to keep going.. To not spare any more glimpses at the mirrors showing her lies. Or.. Different versions of her own truths. But the last one before the door caught her attention... It was her, standing with red threads connected to her new family here. They all moved as willed them to. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Zora, Nathan, Juno, Minnie, Jymaiyri, with her. Together. The Nora in the mirror was smiling with them, all together and hugging. They were all smiling at her. Nora stared at it, her eyes wide with fear. She went to the door. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
