Acxiom would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded them, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Acxiom sat in the middle of the room, a migraine fading from their head as they woke up. The tingling was gone, and they had full control over their body. They were sat against a wall, and there was a set of chains on the wall beside them, but they were not bound. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking slightly. He was staring down at the shaking limb, grimacing a bit and sweating. As Acxiom stirred, he looked over, suddenly smiling. He walked over toward them and held out his shaking right hand toward their head. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in her head before she vanished. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

As Acxiom awoke, the first thing that struck them was the galaxies above them. Sure didn't look like the view you get in a light-polluted city college. Then, as they readjusted their vision, they saw the man and instantly tried to stand. They also tried to keep distance from the man. Everything looked so far from normal, like some sci-fi movie. When the man spoke, Acxiom had no idea what he was talking about, only that he was exactly what they heard right before passing out(they thought) in the bathroom. She couldn't decide if he looked friendly or not. "Y'know, I really thought someone roofied me, but what the hell is this?" They asked. That tracks actually, this doesn't look like the regular world Acxiom is used to. "What are you trying to do here, man?" Regardless, they addressed him. Acxiom, now very much backed up against a wall, kinda just stood there. Regardless of what they wanted, this needed to happen so they could have a discussion. The man lunged forward and put his hand on their forehead, and an electric feeling shot across them. It didn't hurt- but it gave them a bit of a headache, like they had just learned a whole lot of information at once. His hand was shaking even more by the end of that, and he moved a step away. The eye on their forehead closed just before he made contact. They groaned a little as they readjusted with the headache and all that. They looked back up at him with interest when they understood him. "Oh that's what that was. Neat." They looked chill now, despite the situation. " are you good? "I am fine, I have just been using my powers quite a lot to get you all here for this event." He assured. "Thank you for remaining so calm and contained. Others have not been that way." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Acxiom waved off the thanks with a smile and an eye-roll like it was the sorta thing he did all the time. "Don't worry about it. Usually when people invite me to events they just text though, so why'd you bring me here?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I cannot text, I do not have reception in the void of space." Rakin said. "Also, you do not have the option to decline. You are here now." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

"oh so we're in space? damn!" they commented, actually seeming interested now, and looking at the glass ceiling. "Well you did grab me in the middle of a party, not cool by the way I was gonna get paid for that, so I kinda figured." They kept looking at the stars, seeming abnormally untroubled by all this news, actually. "Who are you, then?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"You will not need to worry about money." Rakin explained vaguely and cleared his throat. "I am Nok Rakin, Caller of the Abyss, but you can simply call me Rakin." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Oh so this is some free forced-vacation then, sick. "Neat name, Rakin. Mine's Acxiom, but people like to call me Axe." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I will not be calling you that." Rakin said as he was still smiling. "Anyway, your eyes are quite interesting, I must say. You remind me of our host." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Acxiom laughed a little at Rakin's first comment, just because of how he said it. They seemed curious about the eye thing, though. When Rakin mentioned it, Acxiom's three irises started to glow in their respective colours, as if they were showing off a little. "This Host must be pretty cool if I remind you of them, then. Rakin only smiled more as he saw the glow increase. "Six, actually. But they have the same colors." Rakin said. "Red, green, and blue.. You can create any color with those." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Acxiom looked intrigued by the idea of six eyes, nodding like it was a respectable amount. "Thats the idea!" Acxiom replied. "Can your guy do stuff with their eyes like I can? Never met anyone else like that" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"It would be quite beneath them to use their abilities in that way." Rakin said. "Are you.. Really not concerned about being here? At all?" @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Acxiom looked a tad offended. "Beneath them, huh? Maybe they don't deserve to have all those eyes then, if they aren't gonna use em for anything cool." At the second comment Acxiom shrugged. "Well yeah, I am, but it's not like telling you about it is gonna get me anywhere. Besides, I'm pretty sure abduction can count as an 'extenuating circumstance' for when I tell my bullshit biology professor why my essay isn't done." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Well then maybe they need to lighten up and have some fun every now and then." Acxiom seemed to finally take this a little more seriously when Rakin mentioned dying. "What the fuck kind of event is this? The hunger games?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"no, no- the hunger games is a book series about sticking a bunch of teens in an arena to fight until pretty much all of them die and there's only one victor, and honestly based on how you look, you already fit the vibe of the capitol." Acxiom did look a bit more pissed now, but didn't attack or anything. Still seemed like they thought that wouldn't get them anywhere, although their eyes would still pulse with light occasionally, as if idle, charging. Just in case. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"... Well not everyone that we chose is a teenager.." Rakin mumbled. That must have meant that most of them were or something. "Anyway. If you don't have any more relevant questions, we can wrap this up. Do you want any of your items you had on you back?" @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Dang. So they chose a lot of teenagers, and he didn't deny the hunger games thing. So basically Acxiom was screwed. Acxiom looked in a few of their pockets to figure out what all was missing. "Could I get my earbuds, phone, and keys back?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I already told a guy he can't have his keys, so I don't want to show any favoritism." Rakin shrugged. "Keys could be used as weapons." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

"My eyes can be used as weapons, wanna take those too?" Acxiom paused, and seemed to realize they just offered an entity with unknown powers their eyeballs. "Actually don't do that, you can keep my keys. What about the phone?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Your eyes are part of your powers. They can stay." Rakin said and held out his bandaged hand toward them. "I'll consider the phone. Since you were so reasonable." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

"Deal." Acxiom took Rakin's bandaged hand in a handshake. "One more thing though." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

There was a bit of tingling in their hand that faded as they spoke again. "... mhm..?" Rakin asked, looking a bit irritated. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Irritation be damned. "Why do you have frog legs hanging out of your sash-thing?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Oh, thank you for asking. You're the first to notice, actually." Rakin chuckled. "Those are my legs. I'm a frogling." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Frogling? Holyshit. At least they got kidnapped by cool aliens instead of some megamind-looking mfs. Acxiom stared at the legs, confused, and then back up at Rakin. "Is it rude if I ask why they're that small?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin's grip turned harsh as they said that. "I am average sized for a male frog of my species!" Rakin growled. @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Rakin paused, entirely releasing Acxiom's hand. "My human reproductive organ? You think that's what I'm insecure about?" Rakin laughed, putting a hand up to his chest as he laughed more. "Oh, you are silly. I don't even have a use for that thing." @sketti | Acxiom 💿 + Damien 🌪

Acxiom pulled their hand back and massaged it a little, kinda bewildered but not complaining about not having their hand crushed. "You're a weird guy, you know that?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
