... Kian would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded him, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Kian sat against the back wall of the room, a migraine fading from his head as he woke up. The tingling was gone, and he had full control over his body. The wall he was sat against had multiple sets of thick iron chains embedded in to the wall, and his wrists, neck, waist, and ankles were restrained tightly to the wall. He would not be able to move much. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking quite a lot, and sweat was beaded across his body. He stood in the center of the room, taking in deep breaths and holding his shaking arm. Across the far side of the room were Kian's things- everything that had been in his precious satchel was strewn about the floor. Including the already worn photograph- it definitely didn't look to be in any better condition as it sat on the floor. As Kian stirred, he looked over, keeping a blank expression. He held his shaking right hand out toward Kian's head as he walked. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in his head before he vanished. When Kian's back finally seemed to hit cold concrete, the boy's body was shook to the core. It was like he was pushed off a very steep cliff. Feeling his body's natural instincts of danger finally wearing off, he blinked his eyes open. The room was completely different from his hut in Africa, and so was the man standing in front of him. The man was the least of Kian's worries, however. Being restrained, Kian couldn't move to retrieve the photo of his family on the floor, but he damn well tried to. Unable to move more than a few centimeters, he finally looked to the stranger. "...Whoever you are, please.. I'm not dangerous or trying to cause any problems. The man didn't respond as he reached out his shaking hand and pressed it against Kian's head. Electricity shot through him, painful and sharp. It mostly coalesced in his brain, where it sat there, sinking in. Rakin ripped his hand away as soon as the feeling stopped. "Excuse all the chains, we are simply cautious of you due to all of your.. Powers. Your temperament was not really our concern." He said and stepped back, stumbling a little as he did. "What were you saying before?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

The electricity was almost just enough to send Kian's body back into defense mode, but it thankfully faded before anything out of his control could occur. Letting out a pained huff, Kian didn't look the man in the eyes. "S-So you know about me... who sent you? Why a-are you trapping me here? You must be well informed and powerful if you kidnapped me.." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Our gracious host sent me, if you are lucky, you won't have to meet them until much, much later." He said. "But I am Nok Rakin. You may call me Your gracious co-host, his excellency Rakin, Caller of the Abyss.. Or simply Rakin is fine." "I am as well informed as I can be about someone who travels as frequently as you.. You're a bit hard to follow. Even in our old database, information on you was sparse." "But luckily, we managed to track you and a few others down.." He reached in to one of his pockets with his left, uninjured hand. He pulled out a small pink compass with blue highlights-.. It was old looking, slightly cracked, and had bits of dried blood caked in the crevices. There were a few symbols on it- ones that Kian might be able to remember as representing the kingdoms, Chicago, and the home of the axolotls. A handful of seemingly unrelated and strange places.. Despite the dramatics, Kian was more focused on the fact this stranger knew who he was. It was rare for anyone outside of a very specific power structure to know of him, and that worried Kian greatly. Especially since this person was able to so easily capture and restrain him. That worry evolved into pure panic when the stranger pulled out a compass. Immediately, Kian felt his blood run dry. "Y-You have.." He didn't even finish his sentence before finally looking up to Rakin's face. "What do you want? You're taking people from different dimensions? Do you know how dangerous that is?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I want you to participate in our glorious event here. You were one of the people that we were searching for the hardest- and I managed to nab you. I went ahead and modified your powers a bit so you won't be able to escape, so don't bother trying." He chuckled. "And please do inform me of the dangers. There's many people whose job it is to do some dimension hopping, and you're no different." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian had begun to struggle a little more, feeling the panic in his body rise. Even if he wanted to escape, the chances of him using a portal right now was slim. "Whatever this event is here, you must be using people against their will. People from different timeliness and dimensions—It could cause worlds to collapse," he quickly worded. "Why would anyone want to participate in this event if you kidnap them? Do you kill us if we don't?" Kian frowned. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"People will participate if it means they get to live for even a day longer.. I would know." Rakin said. "And we won't kill you, we'll let the Abyss take care of that." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"So you would just kill us.." Kian huffed. He didn't want to die, nor did he want anyone else forcibly taken to... but Kian wasn't sure if he could beat this creature in front of him alone. "Why are you doing this..? I've seen people like you before.. there's always something you want in the end. Whether it be power or greed.." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I want to please our host. That is why I am still standing here today." Rakin smiled. "This event will be the prelude to the rebirth of the greatest species to ever populate this universe. They simply love drama, so we planned the perfect event to bring them back to. Violence, chaos, death, destruction, misery.. All of their favorite things, all in one place!" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian raised a brow. "You're reviving something..?" He asked carefully. Over the years, Kian had grown familiar with aliens, creatures of completely different worlds, demons even. Just what was this man wanting to bring back? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Revival is... One word. I do think rebirth is truly the best word for it. They were not all dead before, despite my hand." Rakin chuckled and looked down at his bandaged arm. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian followed the man's gaze, before glancing at his own stubbed arm. "If we participate in this event, is there something for the winner that comes out on top?" There was usually something promised, even if it turned out to be a lie in the end. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The panic was at its tipping point. No, he wasn't going to die. Not before he was finished with his work. Kian's body had a funny way in defending him against possible threats. Without command or even the slightest thought, ice shot out from the bottom of Kian's foot and directly impaled Rakin in the shoulder and arm. The room dropped in temperature and a slight cold mist sprouted from the ice. "Y-You should of just taken my powers when you had the chance... if you know who I am.. you know I don't control them very well," he said in a weak voice. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin could not react in time to the ice, and it impaled his left shoulder. He grunted as it hit him, but he didn't move. He didn't even try to remove himself from the icicle that was freezing his arm. Blood slowly dripped down the ice, sloooowly. It looked like pretty normal blood. Just red and bloody. "If you kill me, you'll meet someone much worse. If I die, everyone who I have transported here will die in a much more gruesome way than suffocation in space, I assure you. The host is nowhere near as patient, and if I were not here to speak them down, well, I assure you this would not be a tournament. It would be a torture-fest. Kian took in deep breaths, feeling worn. "I-I told you.. I don't control it well." If at all. "Maybe if you removed the holds, my body wouldn't feel threatened.." Kian suggested with a small frown. "Some people don't have much of a choice for who they serve." Rakin said and pried himself off the ice. He staggered over toward Kian and held out his bandaged hand. "I'd be best to knock you out right now and make you someone else's problem." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Well, Kian tried to warn Rakin. He really did. As Rakin approached again, Kian winced and turned his head away. Notably, a mix of blue and red roses bloomed in Kian's hair. Instead of ice, large overgrown branches grew from the ground and impaled Rakin over his body. "I-I'm sorry--It's j-just going to get worse s-so--l-let me go and I'll d-do whatever this event is. Rakin grunted again as the branches impaled him. He never screamed- not until one of the branches went through his bandaged arm. His scream- it had a different tone than the way he was speaking before. Guttural and pathetic and scared. "I-i can't unchain you without being able to touch you, you idiot!" He hissed and tore his hand away from the vine. No blood dripped from his hand, despite the gaping hole that was left from the branch. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Again, Kian winced as he heard Rakin scream. "I-I'm s-sorry! You're just r-really scary and threatening s-so.." Kian mumbled apologetically, taking in deep breaths to try and calm down. The ice from earlier had begun to melt and disappear, and the branches slowly decayed right after. "Okay.. I-I think it should be fine now.." Kian said as everything seemed to disappear, along with the roses in his hair. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

As the branches rotted away, some still impaling him as they did so, Rakin collapsed down to the ground. Blood was pooling around him as his fingers gripped at the smooth stone floor. He tried to pull himself over toward Kian, but he was much too exhausted. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian grimaced as he saw the blood. It never got easier to see, even after all these years. "..S-Sorry.. I wish I c-could heal you, but.. I don't have any powers like that.." He frowned as he waited to see what else Rakin would do. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Mmmmnmmm.. too bad.." Rakin mumbled and reached out toward Kian suddenly. His bandaged hand, still with the awful wound straight through it, gripped on to the features of his face. He didn't really care what he was grabbing- as long as it would give him a hold. Electricity shot through Kian, sending him in to unconsciousness again. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

A shock was sent through Kian's body when Rakin grabbed him, and not the one from Rakin. Kian could feel his body tensing up once more, but the eletricty thankfully shut him down before he could hurt Rakin anymore. Kian went limp, the last bit of his sight gazing at his family photo in the distance. At least it still seemed intact. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
