... Sovran would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded him, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Sovran sat against the back wall of the room, a migraine fading from his head as he woke up. The tingling was gone, and he had full control over his body. The wall he was sat against had a set of thick iron chains, and his wrists were shackled so that he could only move his arms a few feet from side to side. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking intensely. There was also a bandage around his right shoulder, and splashes of crimson stained his outfit. A few beads of sweat were forming on his forehead. As Sovran woke, Rakin forced himself up to his feet, stumbling a bit as he did. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in his head before he vanished. “Y’ain’t lookin’ too good there, pal,” Sovran spoke with a voice that was slightly deepened due to his slumber. He gave the cuffs around his wrists a rattle. “How ‘bout you let me out of these, yeah? Don’t ‘ppreciate being chained up, especially in a situation like this. Any other time? Ignoring what he has said before, Rakin lunged forward at him and placed his bandaged hand on his head. He gripped on to his hair as lightning shot through his brain- it didn't hurt too bad, just like you were thinking too hard on a test. Once the feeling faded, Rakin stumbled backward, tripping over his own feet and landing flat on his ass. He didn't bother getting up or moving, and he was definitely still within reach of Sovran's legs. "Can you- understand me now?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran growled as Rakin came closer. He glared at the man, still grinning, even as the pain in his head radiated. “I can understand you- D’you understand me?” Once more, he jingled the chins. “Because I want out, pal. "Yeah, I understand you now." Rakin huffed. "From what we've seen of you, it seems sometimes you don't mind being chained up. Care to explain to me how this is any different?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran huffed. “Usually starts with a, ‘hey, how’s it goin’? My name’s so-and-so,’ and it’s a mutual thing. Both agree to it. This though? This makes me feel like some kind of prisoner.” Sovran leaned back against the wall. “So, what’d you want? My powers? My company? My irresistible good looks?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I see. Either way, I'm not releasing you. You basically are a prisoner." Rakin hummed. "I just want to answer any questions you have about this event we have invited you to. “Alright, can’t say I didn’t ask to be released.” Suddenly, from Sovran’s wrists and ankles, the metal bindings flew off and attached themselves to Rakin’s limbs. They were pulled nice and taut, which would’ve brought the other man down to his knees. Sovran stood up and dusted his hands off, fixing his coat once he was finished. “The tables have switched, pal. I’ll have you know, I ain’t no pawn, I ain’t one to play games, especially if it comes to someone else’s amusement. Tell me, it’s not much of an invitation if you capture me, chain me up, and force me here.” Sovran rolled his eyes. “Tell me where the exit is. I ain’t participating.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin grunted and stumbled back down to the ground. He didn't struggle against the chains. "There is no exit without me." Rakin stated simply. "If you knock me out, or heaven forbid, kill me, you'll be stuck with someone much less understanding. With a flick of his middle finger, the chains grew tighter. “Then, I so kindly ask you to get me the exit.” Sovran’s voice was that of a demand rather than a request. “If you’re more understandin’, then you understand why I’d wanna get my ass back home.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin grunted again, trying to move his left hand. It really was no use. His body went limp for a moment before he took in as deep of a breath as he could before his body began to glow. His form shrunk and shrunk and shrunk- until he was only the size of someone's palm. He was some kind of plump little green frog with white spots on his back. Unfortunately, when he tried to hop out of the jumble of chains, it appeared that one of his legs was caught under the weight. "Waaaaaaa!" Sovran blinked. For a moment, he thought that maybe he was just hallucinating. Maybe this was a dream of some kind. However, he knew dreams from reality: this shit was real. “Holy shit,” Sovran crouched down beside the frog, tilting his head as he observed him. His guard was definitely lowered now. “You’re some kind of toad, pal?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The frog didn't wait another moment before glowing again, returning to his regular human size (which was still small!). He was still sitting on his knees, with his ankle caught under the chains. His face was red with anger. "I am NOT a toad! I am a FROG!" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Suddenly, Sovran grinned. He flipped Rakin over onto his back. With an extended a hand towards the discarded chains, the metal seemed to liquify as it came back to his grasp. It formed a knife that he sent into Rakin’s shoulder. “Sorry, hun,” The man practically purred as he lowered himself to Rakin’s ear. “I ain’t one to be a bottom bitch.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

Rakin's left shoulder already had quite a bit of blood staining it, which was only worsened by this new wound. He screamed- for only a moment- before he flinched and got quieter. He took in some deep, shaky breaths, gripping at Sovran's wrist with the blade. "You do not understand what you are calling upon by doing this to me." Rakin said between deep breaths. "Let me knock you out again and you will be spared from their wrath and we can both move on." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“How about instead, you send me home, huh?” Sovran hummed. “How does that sound? I feel like it saves us both a lot of trouble in the long run, pal.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I can't send you home. My powers can only bring you to me." Rakin tried to explain. "Plus, do you not care at all about all the other people who are here..? There are some children- I'm sure you would feel like you should stay and protect them." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran’s grasp tightened on the blade. It was practically vibrating with the strength behind it. “You’re telling me you brought children into this?” He growled. “Where the host will take our powers and supposedly, take our lives as well? Well, that surely didn't feel good. He grunted again, and tried to push Sovran's hand away. "Y-yes- the one just before you- she has lightning powers our host thought would be most useful." Rakin winced. "So how about you get off of me? I assure you, I am kinder to children than my master will be." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“You’re just as bad as your ‘master.’ You’ve led these children to their deaths.” Sovran glared at him. “If you were kinder, you’d leave them be and only bring adults into this.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I did not decide who was invited. I am simply the gateway to get them here." Rakin said. "I am here to help people. You do not understand. I have no other option." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“There’s always an option, you’re just too pathetic to try and find it.” Sovran begrudgingly got off of Rakin. He pocketed the blade and backed off. “Tell you what, what if I face your master head on, defeat him, and send the kids home? Rakin stayed laying on the ground. It wasn't worth getting up. "That is simply not an option. They will not reveal themselves to you simply because you ask. I am meant to be their medium, here to speak to the guests for them. They would tolerate you whatsoever. They do not even speak." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“What, they some spiritual entity or somethin’?” Sovran asked with a raised eyebrow. “What if you get in touch with ‘em for me?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"They have been watching through my eyes. They are already not pleased." Rakin said. "They simply do not speak. I do not think they can." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu
