... Maki would awake in a strange room- four gray stone walls surrounded them, and a stone floor, with a clear glass ceiling showing various stars and galaxies above. It would be almost beautiful, if not for the circumstances. The room itself was mostly featureless, just the four walls with no decor... And seemingly no exit?? Maki sat along the wall of the room, a migraine fading from their head as they woke up. The tingling was gone, and they had full control over their body. One of their hands was loosely chained up to the stone wall behind them. There was a man in the room. With black hair and green highlights- shaved on one side with an intricate pattern. Their eyes were dark voids, besides one pinprick of white, glowing light. He wore a flowing open robe, green pants, and green dress shoes. His body was riddled with red scars-.. Burns, maybe? His right arm was bandaged up and shaking terribly, along with his left shoulder. His entire gray outfit was stained with blood. As Maki stirred, he looked over with a blank expression. He held his shaking right hand out toward Maki's head as he walked toward them. "Hoyseksagu." He said. His voice sounded like the final voice that was chanting in their head before they vanished. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾 (edited)

Maki slowly started to stir as they woke up, blinking their eyes rapidly to adjust to their surroundings. Though they were confused, their mask covered their expression. They glanced over at their band and tugged on the chain before they stared up at the stranger. Maki stared back at the stranger, before the masks expression shifted into a blank expression, copying the stranger. They didn't say anything at least, not yet. Just where were they...? Well...they'd fine out soon enough. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin stepped up to them, placing his hand on their head and sending a bolt of electricity through them. He stepped away as the feeling lingered in their head, before fading. "Welcome." He said, smiling. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Maki flinched away slightly before they let out a small huff of air. They didn't say anything in return but the mask did raise an eyebrow at Rakin in confusion. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"... Do you not have any questions..?" @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

There was a few moments of silence before Maki let out a huff of air and raised their hands. Will you even answer them? They signed. If yes I do have several. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin watched the hand movements, and sighed. "I don't know sign language. If I remove your chains, will you be able to write on paper?" @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Maki nodded their head and looked at the chain before Rakin again. They could do that. YES. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin stepped over to them and placed his bandaged hand on the chains, sending out a very specific pulse of electricity that made the shackle open up and release their hand. Rakin dropped a small notebook and pencil on to the ground next to them before stepping back. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Staring down at the notebook, Maki sighed before they began to write.

Rakin looked over the answers. "I am Nok Rakin, Caller of the Abyss, though just Rakin is fine. You are in space, in The Maze. And you have been invited here to compete by my master, Alrai Pin." @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Compete in what? Maki wrote down before they stared at Rakin. The mask narrowed its eyes at Rakin. Talk about creepy. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

And if I refuse? Maki wrote down before they tilted their head at Rakin. Then what will become of me? What if I fight you and your Master? Merely questions, of course. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

Maki let out a small sigh before they shrug. So you're forcing my hand. Very well. They shake their head. If I win, what do I get? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"You get to die last. If I can get through to my master, then you will be fighting to be the only one surviving." @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Maki nodded along before they huffed. I see. Can I leave this place now? Put me in the tournament or whatever? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
