“And here we are,” Celena hummed as they came upon the further end of the stream, away from anyone else in the area. She didn’t notice a single person since she was just. So fixated on the water. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian smiled brightly as he saw the running water, also distracted from any surrounding voices or people. "It looks s-so nice!" He exclaimed and sat down by the edge to take off his boots. He undid the metal holdings and pulled them off, putting his boots beside him before putting his feet into the water. "Ahh.. yeah, really nice." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena giggled as she went closer to the edge of the stream as well. She took a seat and undid her shoes and socks before letting her feet go into the water. She let out a deep breath. “Ah, that is really nice.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian leaned over a bit and cupped his hand into the water. He splashed some of the water onto him, sighing in relief as he felt the cold water on his skin. "Ahh.. You know, t-this place probably wouldn't be too bad if we just weren't forced to be here. My home, Laputa, had a lot of weather similar to this in the summer, a-and the ocean surrounding it was nice to dip into." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Right? This place would seem like a nice vacation spot,” Celena laughed. “Lots of greenery, lots of other nice people around, lots to see. The water’s so nice.” Celena was quiet for a while before she spoke up. “My first home was also kind of like this. With the intense heat and weather. Luckily, there were plenty of streams around, so we always had a nice way to cool off.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian looked over at Celena and listened intently to her words. "Oh, that sounds lovely, Celena.. W-Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena kept her gaze focused on the stream. “It’s- Nowhere, if I’m honest, it- Doesn’t exist anymore.. It was just some little town in the middle of nowhere..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian raised a brow at that. "It doesn't s-sound like it was nowhere to you.. If you don't w-want to talk about it, I understand, but I can tell it meant a lot to you," Kian commented. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“It was..” Celena paused. “It was home, my very first one. I don’t know if I’m deserving of holding it so close when I feel-.. Guilty about things and how things ended.” Her gaze grew blurry as tears welled up in her eyes. “A lot happened back then, but- It was home, and it was beautiful, at least, for the short while that it stood..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian hesitated for a second, but slowly, he put his hand on Celena's back—A show of sympathy. "I-I understand. No matter where we go, home i-is where our heart is at. It will never change, n-no matter what. Your home sounds wonderful. I'm sure it was lovely and that it had a lot of good memories for you. What's y-your favorite memory from there, Celena?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

At Kian's touch, the tears that had been in Celena's eyes began to fall. With a free hand, she rubbed at her cheeks and quickly tried to fight back to desire to cry more. "P-picking strawberries with my f-father," Celena whispered. "I-it's my fondest memory o-of summer days together. The h-heat was never an issue, because it was just fun to be out in the fields with him and spend time with him. H-he was a great man, a kind man.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"I-It's okay to cry, Celena.. let it out," he quietly reassured her, rubbing her back. He understood well what it was like to miss a parent. To miss their smile and laugh.. their touch and their presence. Kian knew well. More than most people. "H-He sounds like a good man. You must of loved him very much... “I-I know I should,” Celena’s voice shook as she tried to keep herself calm. She managed a small smile. “I’m just- Scared that if I d-do let it out, I won’t be able to stop.. It’s been a lot..” Celena gave a nod of her head. “Yeah, he.. He was a very good man.. I miss him dearly..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian smiled sadly at Celena. "I understand.. I-I've had a lot of endless cries too. I think your father wouldn't w-want you to keep everything in. It's good to just... let go. I-It's okay," he continued to reassure her. "I-I have all the time in the world, promise," he said with a half-hearted, quiet chuckle. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I-I know he wouldn’t, h-he always talked about- Expressing your emotions, even if they’re sad ones. It was never good to keep them in, but- I always tried to. I always tried,” A few tears rolled down her cheeks and landed into the stream below. She couldn’t help but lean against Kian’s side slightly, resting her head upon his shoulder for comfort. “I-I’m tired of trying..” She whispered as her tears continued to fall. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian wasn't startled or surprised when Celena leaned onto him. Instead, he wrapped his arm around her in a small hug. "I-I know... I know. It's hard," he quietly nodded. "Just get it all o-out. No one is here to judge o-or laugh at you. It's okay to cry.. You don't need to try to keep it all in." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Not another word was spoken. A small, teary whimper left Celena as her shoulders shook with desperation to keep her tears back. Then, she stopped fighting it. It was as if a silent dam had been uncovered. The girl made only the quietest of sounds as she started to openly cry. If it wasn't for the direct contact or for Kian being so close to hear her soft sobs, he probably wouldn't have known that she was crying. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian was there the entire time. He didn't let Celena go, making sure to support and comfort her. His hand gently rubbed her arm and he offered Celena a handkerchief from his pocket after a bit. There were many times where he had been the one crying, but at least he'd had Asra or Cansu there with him at points. Celena probably had no one. That made Kian's heart ache. Celena seemed like such a kind person. The least he could do for her was be a shoulder for her to cry on. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

After a few short moments, the girl reached for the handkerchief. She quietly sniffled as she cleaned off her face of her tears. She wasn’t sure how long she had been there with Kian, simply crying as pain welled up in her chest. The grief physically hurt after keeping it concealed for so long. Still, she didn’t let herself cry for too long, not when.. When.. What reason was there? It was simply out of habit. Habits were hard to break. But this moment, this warmth and contact with another person, someone who actually understood what it was like to have the kind of life she did.. It was liberating, in a way. Celena wouldn’t have wished this life upon anyone, but she was glad to have Kian alongside her. “Th-thank you..” Celena tearfully whispered. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Of course. I-I'm here for you, Celena," Kian said in a gentle voice. There was no sense of malice or judgement from the boy. Only a small, sincere smile on his face as he looked over Celena. A hint of sadness filled his eyes, however, and he turned to look down at the water in front of them. He kept his arm wrapped around Celena as he thought and finally, he spoke up again. "D-Do you feel a little better now?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I-I’m here for you, too.” Celena dabbed at her eyes with the hankerchief. “I-I do feel a bit b-better..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"I'm g-glad," Kian replied, his smile brightening just a tad. "And just knowing you're s-someone like me.. It makes me feel m-more relieved. Like.. I'm not alone. I-Is that strange to say?" He chuckled quietly. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“N-no, not strange, I get it,” Celena let out a weakened chuckle. She sniffled quietly and glanced back to the water. “We’re not alone, and we understand each other- B-better than others might.. It’s nice for us to heal a bit..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

He nodded, agreeing full heartedly with Celena. "Mhm. It is," Kian replied. He gave Celena a small, gentle squeeze before finally letting her go. "S-So.. Uhm. Do you like fishing, Celena?" Kian suddenly asked and pointed out towards the river. "Want to catch some fish o-or something? It's fun fishing when you have someone with you," he smiled childishly. Though, usually the person fishing with Kian was Asra... and even then, it was Asra who did most of the successful fishing. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena leaned away from Kian when he let go, figuring she should give the boy his space now. At the mention of fishing, she lit up with a smile. “I do like fishing! My dad would fish with me when I was little, it was- It was always a lot of fun!” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian's face lit up. "W-Want to fish with me then? We can grill some u-up for lunch!" He smiled and stood up, feet still in the water. "I-I'm not very good at it still, but I'll do my best!" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena stood up as well. “It’s okay, I’m not the best, either! It’ll just be fun to fish with someone else again! And lunch does sound pretty good- I feel like I haven’t eaten the entire time I’ve been here.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Awesome! H-Hold on, let me just.." Kian used his teeth to pull off his glove, tossing it aside on the ground before pulling his sleeve back with the same teeth method. He beamed towards Celena. "I think t-that shady spot over there might be a good place to catch something," Kian commented as he pointed towards a certain spot of the river covered by low hanging trees. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena would've offered to lend a hand, but Kian seemed to be quite capable of holding his own. She remained smiling at the boy. "I think that's a good spot!" She agreed. "It'll be even cooler in that spot, fish would love to go to that spot to cool off!" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Mhm! A-Alright then.." Kian nodded and started over to the shady side of the river. He moved rather slowly and carefully, feeling each inch of sand and gravel with his feet. You never know when the river could suddenly drop or if a predator was hiding in wait. He soon made it to the shade and smiled at Celena. "O-Okay. I think this is good. Ready?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Oh- We’re going to jump in and do it that way?” Celena asked. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian nodded. "I-I mean.. unless you know another way? I don't think we have any fishing rods o-or anything to use," he hummed. "I-I would try using my powers.. but I don't know how useful it'd be." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Yeah, that’s- That’s true, we don’t have rods and our powers won’t help much,” Celena nodded and took up a position like Kian’s. Oh, she already felt embarrassed from how she felt like she was going to fail. “I’ve never fished like this, but- I’ll give it my best shot..” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Y-You just have to time it right. And b-be quick and confident," Kian said, recounting the advice Asra told him once. He hovered over the water for a moment, looking for passing fish, or even crabs. Crabs could be nice. Reaching his arm back, he saw a sliver of a tail go by and he immediately went to grab it, but missed terribly. He ended up just splashing around. "Dang it!" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Alright, quick and confident, quick and confident, I can do that,” Celena nodded her head. She took in a deep breath and saw a dim shadow move in the water. Immediately, she leapt in and tried to reach her hands around her target. However, the snipping of something sharp around her finger made her rethink wanting to capture whatever this was. “Ow!” Celena pulled herself out of the water and flailed her hand around. A little crab was attached to her finger before it let go, dropping back into the water. “O-okay, becareful- There’s little crabs in here-!” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian's eyes went wide when he saw Celena flailing around. "O-Oh my goodness! Are y-you okay, Celena??" Kian asked and stepped closer to her to see if she was hurt. "Man, I-I didn't think the crabs would be so vicious, if there were any at all. S-Sorry, m-maybe it'd be better if we tried to make a makeshift rod or something-" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I’m okay, it was just a little bite- It was probably just upset I had stepped on it. We’ll just have to be careful- Look! This way can work!” Celena calculated her next leap and proceeded to successfully capture a fish this time. She held the squirmy, slimy little fish up to Kian. “O-oh my gosh-” Celena laughed in disbelief as she gave her head a quick shake, making water droplets fling to the side. “I-I did it- I actually caught one-!” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian's worried look changed the moment he saw Celena hold the wiggling fish. "Y-You got one! Oh my goodness—Hold o-on, let me–" The boy looked a little down from where Celena had gotten her fish and readied himself once again. Seeing the shadow of a fish, the boy bent down and grabbed what he could. It felt like just water at first, but sure enough, Kian was able to snag the end tail of another small fish. "Ha-ha! I-I got one too! H-Hurry, we gotta tossed them on land-" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“N-nice!! You got a good fish!” Celena praised, despite knowing nothing about fish. With a small ”Hup!” the fish was yeeted onto the land. It flopped around uselessly in the grass. “We both caught one-!” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian tossed his as well, smiling bright at their starting pile. "Y-Yeah! We're on a roll!" He laughed, childishly enthusiastic. "A f-few more, and we should be good! If we're lucky, maybe we can even give some to others nearby!" Kian beamed. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Y-yeah! We got this- We can make sure everyone eats well!” Celena beamed with a bright smile. Once more, she lunged into the water and caught another one. When she broke the surface, her laughter was light and carefree. “You were right- Confidence is a big boost with this! I caught another!” Celena smiled and tossed the small fish with the other two. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian was just as excited as Celena and eagerly looked around the water again. "Nice one! H-Hold on, I think I see another right here-" He says as he stuck his hand into the water. Unfortunately, his luck was the opposite of Celena's. With a yelp, a sharp pain clipped Kian's hand. "Ack-! D-Dumb crab again!" He exclaimed as he pulled his hand up, the same crab from before dangling onto his palm with a vengeance. He whacked his hand across the water until the crab finally let go. "Ow ow ow... I don't know h-how Asra did this so easily.." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Oh no- That crab’s causing nothing but trouble! Are you okay? I can heal you, if you need it.” Celena looked into the water once more before she glanced to Kian. “Who’s Asra?” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian sighed as he felt the pain release and he smiled awkwardly at Celena. "I-I'm okay. Dumb thing h-has some killer pinchers though," he chuckled. "O-Oh, and Asra is.. one of the last bits of family I have. She's a cat," Kian answered with an innocent grin. "She's really good at catching fish. E-Ever since I was a kid, she would secretly fish in a river near my home, even after she h-had just been given dinner," he chuckled, fondly remembering his close companion. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Right? These things are deadly!” Celena laughed. She tucked a lock of her damp hair behind her ear as she listened to Kian. “A cat, huh? I like cats. I wish I wasn’t allergic to them, though,” She sighed before perking up, giggling quietly. “I’m glad that you have her, though!! Sounds like she was always ready for a meal.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian chuckled faintly. "Awh, you're allergic? T-That kinda sucks.. But they are very cute and loyal, yes," he smiled. "And yeah, s-she's always hungry. I would secretly sneak her some extra treats w-when my moms weren't looking too. She was very spoiled." "A-And then there's Cansu too.. he's another bit of family I still have. I don't see him as often, b-because he doesn't like humans very much, but he'll make exceptions sometimes. He's this little baby chicken. "Yeah, it does suck, but I do really like them!" Celena smiled. "Heh, it really does sound like she's a spoiled kitty. I bet she loved those extra treats." "He's a baby chicken?" Celena asked with bright and shiny eyes. "I love baby chickens! They're so cute and fluffy!" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"O-Oh, she did. I remember this one time, I put my bag of treats down for just a second, a-and the next thing I know, she's gone through half of it," Kian laughed. "Cansu is really cute and fluffy, b-but he hates being called that. He yells at me a lot to stop calling him cute, b-but I still do it anyways. He forgives him if I bring him flowers o-or treats, hehe." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Oh, she’s a little mischievous cat,” Celena giggled. “He yells at you?” Celena asked with a slight confused expression. “He can talk?” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian's smile faltered a little, not because he shouldn't have said that, but because he forgot not every chicken could talk. "O-Oh, yeah. Cansu and Asra.. they both can talk. It's a l-long story, but basically, they're uh.. deities, in a way? That's how they've lived this long with me," the boy explained. "Before I was born, t-they used to have this bond-thing with my mother and uncle. That's how they know me. A-And now, they travel the world without worry. I drop by to visit when I can, but sometimes it's years between each visit." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Huh! I never knew that animals could be deities, that’s pretty cool!” Her gaze softened. “I’m glad that they’ve been there for you. Even if it’s been a while since you seen them, you’re still in each other’s lives, even after all of this time. I’m happy for you, Kian.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian chuckled softly. "Y-Yeah. It's pretty cool... They e-even have elemental powers!" He beamed. His smile turned fond and Kian glanced down to the water once more, nodding. "S-Sometimes, I think they're the only ones s-still keeping me sane. They remind me of who I was... I-It does kinda suck they still treat me like a kid though," he chuckled. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Really? What kind of elemental powers do they have?” Celena asked, extremely curious and even a bit eager to know. This all sounded magical to her, and it was exciting to hear about! “It’s good that you still have them around. It’s good to have s-someone or something be a memory of the past,” Celena smiled. “They still treat you like a kid? That must just mean that they really, really love you and are super affectionate of you.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian nodded again. "Mhm.. Asra h-has fire and wind powers. Cansu has water and lightning powers. From what Asra told me, they've b-been here for a very long time. Seen a lot of things. They've offered to stick with me if I wanted, b-but I don't think I want to make them go through all of that. They've had hard lives.. I like seeing them happy and peaceful and free." The prince's smile grew wider and he gave Celena a grateful look. "Y-Yeah, they really do. I know they do. I'm blessed to still have them with me. I-I hope you can find something or someone like them for yourself, Celena. It r-really helps to keep you going." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Whoa- That’s so cool that they have two powers!” Celena’s smile softened. “I’m glad that they have a chance to be happy and free. They get to relax and rest now.” “I’m glad you have them,” Celena looked down into the water and ran her hand through the cool current. “.. I think I can have someone like them, i-if I let myself.. The people who I mentioned that are here? I kind of- Want to open up to them some more.. Some of them don’t know that I’m immortal, so-.. I want to tell them that, an-and other things..” She took in a deep breath. “One of the guys said I could call him ‘dad,’ and-.. That’d be nice, I just don’t feel deserving of that yet. Kian's bright smiled warmed up as he listened to Celena. It was nice getting to talk about positive things with someone like him. He gave Celena a thumbs up and a goofy grin. "T-That's amazing, Celena! Even during something like this, y-you found people who you want to get close too. That's special," Kian smiled. "A-And wow, dad? That's a big step, b-but if both of you feel like that's the right thing, then I say it's something you should cherish. I think it's great you've found them, Celena. “W-well-” Celena’s face burned with a blush. She fidgeted with the ribbon at the neck of her blouse. “Dad is a big step- He does feel like a dad, he’s- Really nice and trusting, in the dad way. I-I haven’t felt that kind of way with anyone like that since my own dad.. And then he told another girl that she can call him ‘dad’ too, so that technically means that we’d be sisters, and I’ve- Always wanted a sister.” Her cheeks grew warmer. “I just th-think- This is my chance, m-my only chance before things-.. Before we each have our matches and stuff. I’d like to have something, you know? It’d be nice to have an ‘after’ this mess with them back in a home..” @ajjjjjjjj (edited)

Even though Kian wasn't the one in Celena's situation, he felt just as happy when he saw Celena's reaction. He happily patted Celena's back, his goofy grin still on his lips. "Awh, that's so sweet!! I-I think it'd be great to have a family to go home to after this is over. I think we a-all deserve it. Especially you, Celena. This is great! I'm so happy for you," Kian laughed. "Who's the person you're c-considering dad..? And your sister? I'd love to meet them!" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Th-thank you, Ki, that means a lot,” Celena’s face continued to burn with a blush. “I-I still have to talk to them to see if they’d really l-let me be part of their family, but- I’d really, really like to. The person I’m considering as dad is named Yeonaixho, he’s a healer, too. He’s really nice and great. A-and then my sister- Her name’s Nora. She’s sweet, kind of anxious, but really sweet.” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"If they offered, I-I'm sure they already see you as family too, Celena. I think this would be a nice change of pace for you," Kian nodded. Though, hearing Yeonaixho's name, there was a small and subtle shift to Kian's hand on Celena's back. "O-Oh.. Hm, I see. Nora and.. Yeonaixho. T-They sound like good people. I'm glad you've all taken a liking in one another, Celena." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Thanks, I really appreciate that, Kian,” Celena smiled. “They’re really good people.” At the shifting of Kian’s hand, she tilted her head slightly with confusion and concern. “Is everything okay..?” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian's smile faintly faltered and he retracted his hand from Celena. "It's just.. O-Oh, how do I describe this.." Kian rubbed the back of his head in an awkward motion. "Celena.. w-would you believe me if I said there are many, m-many universes out there? Ones where things are completely different o-or almost the same beside small changes? I.. I know Yeonaixho, b-but not the one you know here. I've met his wife too.. a-and it's such a long, long story.." He sighed. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Celena tilted her head slightly in the other direction. She glanced away for a brief moment before giving a nod. "I-I do believe that there are different universes, I've seen it," She spoke softly. "Is Yeonaixho and his wife- Different, in this other time?" She paused. "He's not a good person, is he? At least- In that world? Because Nora made a phone call on the other side, and she apparently called a bad version of Yeonaixho. It potentially could've been that version." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian looked down at the river once more, the cold water still rushing past his feet. He slightly nodded his head. "H-He was very different, from what I know.. I didn't know him personally.. b-but my aunt–she was close to the Yeonaixho in my world. She.. didn't speak well of him. He was her mentor of sorts.. b-but with how she talked about him, I could tell there was a little more to it than that," Kian frowned a bit before turning back to Celena. "My Yeonaixho is long dead.. w-whoever she called, it was probably a different Yeonaixho all together. I just.. am surprised to hear he is here–with a family, no less. Sorry, I didn't mean t-to bring the mood down. I know this is a big moment for you, Celena." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"No no, don't apologize, it's- Good to know this kind of stuff.." Celena looked into the water. She gently swung her feet in the stream. "Just a bit of a shock.. I'm sorry that your aunt had to deal with such a rough man.. It must be so weird for anyone to see that face and know a different version of someone but- Know that they're different.." At this, Celena fidgeted with the ribbon at the collar of her blouse once more. She kept her gaze fixated on the water. A part of her seemed rather anxious now. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

The boy shook his head and gently patted Celena's shoulder. "N-No, it's okay. I never knew him personally, but hearing that he's here is quite.. Surprising. I-I wonder if that means my aunt knows him too in his world," Kian thought aloud. Seeing Celena fidget with her ribbon, Kian frowned slightly. "A-Are you okay, Celena? You.. mentioned you've seen other universes too?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"M-maybe.. He seems like a better man in this world, so maybe- They're friends?" Celena suggested. "I-I'm okay, k-kind of," Her fingers gently grasped the ribbon. "J-just- Yeah, I've.. I've seen other universes, a-at least, just two.. The first one I'm from, a-and then the one that c-came to be back home.. Things g-got- Bad.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian hummed as he thought about this other Yeonaixho. "I-I wonder how old he is now.. My aunt may not even know him yet depending on things," he shrugged, leaving the topic there. He frowned a bit more and hesitated for a moment to speak again. "..S-So you've been to another universe before. D-Do.. C-Can I ask how, exactly? Uhm, you don't have to talk a-about it if you don't want to. I understand if it's a hard conversation to have.." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"I'm not sure, maybe I can ask him how old he is, and then get back to you on that? Then, we can figure out your aunt's age?" Celena offered. She continued to fidget. E-Especially if it wasn't purposeful," he replied. Kian retracted his hand and gestured back to their caught fish. "How a-about we just cook up our fish and eat for now? Kian nodded again and stepped out of the water. He offered Celena a hand to help her out. "I-I can try to start a fire. It's a little hard with just one hand, b-but I've done it before," Kian said. He could try to use one of his powers, but he didn't exactly want to test that out and have it go horribly wrong. Especially with Celena here. "Oh! Y-You can? Okay, that'd be great. M-Much faster than me trying to get one started by hand," Kian chuckled as he gently pulled Celena out of the water. He soon let go and headed over to one of the trees near by. Pulling out a few decent sized sticks, he walked back to their fishes and stuck them through, creating skewers. "A-Alright, perfect! “Mmhm! Now we can roast them, just let me-” Celena headed to the same tree and gathered a few more sticks. She returned to Kian and made a small pile, careful to ensure that the fire that would start would be tame. She positioned her hand over the sticks and used her light to start a fire. “Tada!! Kian's eyes lit up as he watched Celena light the fire. "Woah..! A-Awesome! Now we can just stick the skewers around here.." Kian said as he put the fish skewers around the fire. The smell of grilled fish would soon waft through the air. "So, Celena.. D-Do you have any cool stories from living so long? Celena sat by the fire with Kian. Already, she could feel her clothes drying off from the heat. It was too damn toasty. “And now, we wait!” Celena smiled. “Any cool stories?” Celena hummed as she tapped her chin in thought. “Well- One of my favorite stories is that I was around for the Chicago World Fair, where everyone came together to show off inventions from a century and debut new ones. They even showed off a skeleton of a brontosaurus, which I thought was super cool!! I never knew dinosaurs could be so, so big!” Her eyes were bright as she continued talking. “They even debuted the Ferris wheel there, and I got to ride it!! It was super rickety and seemed like it was going to fall apart at any second, but I still had a blast! What kind of things have you been able to experience?” @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian listened intently to Celena. His eyes sparkled as she spoke about the dinosaur and the ferris wheel. "Wow!! A w-whole dinosaur skeleton? That must of been awesome to see in person! And the first ferris wheel in Chicago too? That's s-so cool," he said with amazement. The fire had dried him off pretty quickly too, and Kian got to work putting his boots back on. "Hm.. A-As for myself, I think one of the coolest things was getting to experience the Aurora Australis in Antartica. It's so clear and bright since the light p-pollution there is almost non-existent. Being there, standing i-in the snow as the wind blows through your hair... It was like magic. The world seemed so big and vast in that moment. I-I was out there alone, but it didn't feel like it, somehow... I wish I could see it again someday. It truly is a wonder of our world." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“A whole dinosaur! It’s so hard to find all of the pieces and get a completed skeleton, but they did! And it was so cool!” Celena beamed. She listened to Kian intently, her eyes widening with wonder and awe. “The Aurora Australis!” She nearly squealed with excitement. “That does sound like magic!! Just a moment with you and the world!” Once more, color rose to her cheeks as she suddenly, and shyly, glanced away. “Maybe- That’s something the two of us can check out one of these days..? Kian beamed at Celena's suggestion, and eagerly nodded his head. "Oh my goodness, y-yes we should! It'd be even more awesome getting to see it with someone else! We can bring hot cocoa and drink under the stars and lights! Let's do it, Celena!" Kian agreed with an enthusiastic smile. "M-Maybe you can show me around the World Fair too sometime? I-I don't get to visit a lot of shows or carnivals due to my mission, but I always see people going to those sorts of things with their friends! “Really?” Celena perked up, her expression growing bright with a smile. “Oh my gosh- Yeah! That sounds really great! We can have all kinds of little snacks as we enjoy it all!! That sounds super good!” “They don’t really do World Fairs anymore, but we can always check out all kinds of museums! And there’s always carnivals and stuff coming around, so we can do things like that!” Celena rambled joyfully. “Theres always all kinds of rides and fun things to eat- I-I went to them when I was real little, but now- It’s been a while since I’ve been there. "Mhm, mhm! I-I know the best spot to watch the lights too! You can even see penguins and polar bears from it!" Kian exclaimed. "D-Do you like smores, Celena? We can roast them up over a fire too!" "Aww, it's n-not a thing anymore? That's fine! Yeah, there are always a ton of other things we can check out! Uhm.. H-Have you ever been to something called Carnival in Brazil? I-I've never been myself, but I've been in the country when it was going on. “I’ve always wanted to see a penguin for real life,” Celena smiled. “I do like smores! It’d be a lot of fun to make them with you!” For now, they’d have to settle for fish, which thankfully was about done. “I haven’t checked it out! Kian smiled down at the fish in front of them and picked one of the skewers up when it was done. "Mhm! It'll b-be super fun! Here you go, Celena," he said as he gave the skewer ovee to Celena. Kian beamed and took one of the skewers for himself. He wasn't hungry, but then again, he was never hungry. So, he ate the fish just for the delight of tasting it. "Mm! Celena took a bite. “Mmhm! It’s really nice and crispy, perfect texture, too!” She monched for a few moments as she thought. “Well, I made a friend-sister with Nora, so she counts. Oh! There was a younger girl named Connie, I taught her Spinjitzu, that was fun. She was really fun. Nathanial, too. He’s really nice, h-he has older sibling energy. "O-Oh! Mr. Sovran told me about Connie! Maybe I-I can be her friend too," Kian said between mouthfuls of fish. Seems like the prince has forgotten some of his table manners. He wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve, smiling childishly. "Nathanial sounds nice t-too. You're already on a roll with friends. I-I gotta catch up," Kian chuckled. “I think she’d be a good friend to you! She’s really kind.” Celena smiled, not minding the lack of manners. Especially now that she was wracking her brain around. Sovran. Sovran. Kian finished his fish quite quickly. It was just really good. "Hopefully I-I bump into her soon. A-And I think you're pretty good at making friends so far! You're such a likeable person, Celena," Kian beamed with a set of teeth. "Dante is one of the amphibs on the o-other side. I hope he's doing okay.." Kian sighed. "I think she's on the other side right now, but hopefully, you could meet her soon!" Celena smiled. Color rose to her cheeks as she looked down bashfully. "Th-thank you, Kian. Kian smiled even wider, a childish giddy on his face. "Yeah! A-And I'm glad you think I am. I-I hope I haven't been odd," he chuckled softly. The prince picked up the last fish skewer and offered it to Celena as he stood up. "Mhm. I-I understand. Take this with you to snack on, o-or maybe give it to your sister? "I could say the s-same about you, Celena," Kian chuckled, picking up his glove as soon as Celena took the skewer from him. Again, he used his teeth to help put his glove on. "Sounds l-like a plan! Celena lit up with a bright smile. “I-I do hugs!” She held out her arms for one, seemingly excited about it. Hugs were always so great and nice. It had been a while since she had one. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian happily gave Celena a hug. Despite only having one arm, his hug was somehow tight and warm. "Stay safe, o-okay, Celena?" He said with a soft smile, and gently patted her back. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“Bye bye!” Celena smiled and waved. Alright, time to find Nora to give her some fish!
