Somewhat separated from the rest of the buildings was a singular restroom. It was hot in there, with steaming hot water available from a singular showerhead. There was also a singular toilet that definietly looked like it belonged in an outhouse. This was also the only place on this side with a locking door.

With a ZAP of lightning, Madison appeared in the area... She was dressed in some winter clothes that were surprisingly to her style, layered on top of her regular clothes. She spawned in laying on the floor of the shower, a cold sweat on her brow and entirely knocked out.

Lykos trudged away from the fire, thoroughly annoyed. Directly in their path was a strange shack. Perhaps a shed? Maybe they could sleep in here… The entrance barely fit the giant wolf, and they certainly sounded frustrated trying to enter it. It sounded like a large animal was trying to break down the door. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Madison managed to stay asleep through most of the pounding, but eventually, the sounds got through to her and she shot up to a sitting position. Her breath was instantly hitched, sounding like she was having a panic attack that was slightly audible from the outside. "S-s-stay away!" Madison whimpered from the inside, pulling her knees up to her chest and burying her face in them. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Lykos’ ears picked at the whimpering and they stopped their fruitless attempt to enter. “…apologies. Would you open the door, my… paws cannot grip the handle.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

PAWS? "Wh-wh-who are y-y-you-" Madison sniffled from the inside. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Clearly this being was not taking this sudden abduction very well. Lykos pushed down their annoyance. “I am Dr. Lykos. I am a wolf, so I cannot open the door. Are you alright? Are you able to open the door?” Their voice was rather monotone, a bit gravely. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"O-oh my God- wh-.. Why d-do you want to get in here..? I- i have a gun. I'll shoot you if you try anything." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The doctor sighed. “Listen to me. I mean you no harm. Stars- I’ll leave you alone if that’s what you wish.” The wolf sat in front of the door. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Madison's breathing hitched again as Lykos spoke. Nothing they were saying was probably as comforting as they intended it to be. Waking up from unconsciousness, in a strange place, with a strange unknown person speaking to her.. In a tournament. 'Oho? Awake now hm? How you feeling baby chick?' "I-i-'ll kill you-" Madison's entire body was shaking, evident in her voice even. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“I am simply trying to help you- fine. Deal with your panic on your own.” There was no point in trying to aid this person. There was nothing comforting about a beast. The wolf stepped away from the shed… @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Suddenly, the door was open, but no one was in view. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Well, the blast of cold air helped snap her in to reality at least a little. There was never any fresh cold air in the dungeon- it was always dank and bloody and- Madison took her chance and frantically pushed herself up to her feet, managing to run out of the door before slipping on a patch of ice right outside. She landed off to the side of the path, falling face first in to a pile of snow. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh, of course you are human.” Out of the corner of her eye, there was a very large black paw. “Have you come to your senses?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Well. Calling her human was a good step in the right direction for calming her nerves. Anything of the avian variety may have pushed her over the edge. She glanced over toward them, first at their paw, then slowly up to their face. "Uwhhhhh-" Madison trembled upon seeing the beast and grabbed a handful of snow to throw at their face. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Oh for the- I am not going to harm you. Calm down. Do you understand where you are and who brought you here.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I- I'm- i-in space and- the frog guy- Rakin...!" Madison took in some deeper breaths and grabbed another handful of snow, just in case. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The wolf backed further away from the frightened human. “Rakin… I never had the chance to know the name of my attacker- nor did it look like- hm. Describe to me the person you saw when you first arrived.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Madisons breaths calmed just slightly as Lykos backed away. "H-he- he was short and.. had black hair with.. some g-green in it.. And he was.. Unconscious wh-when I first saw him.. Then he woke up a-and shocked me and-.. t-told me I'm in another tournament.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

That… wasn’t that what that dead person looked like? Apparently they were not dead. “…strange. I saw that person, but a different… being appeared when he passed out. A strange thing in a cloak. Did you see that one?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"A-a cloak? Uhummm-.. R-Rakin had a robe.." Madison shook her head. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

"Wh-... W-well he shocked me a f-few times but.. H-he spoke n-normally.. Well he spoke a language I've never heard first but-..." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Nothing to apologize for. What is your name?” Outside of their movements, nothing was especially… dog like about them. Not affectionate or particularly ferocious- they were like a person. But a wolf. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

"Mmmmadison, Jura-.." She took in another deep breath and ran her hand through her wild hair. "I'm.. The owner of Juradins the tech company and I- I have technology powers.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

".. I-i don't want to stand right n-now.. my legs-.. I-i need to fix them. Rakin's powers.. Broke them a-a bit. I don't know how long it'll take.." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

The wolf’s ears flatted a bit at that- like they were cringing. “Ah… that’s awful. Do.. you need a healer, or..?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"A healer won't fix it-" Madison sighed. "I just.. need to get somewhere warm. So I can take my boots off and roll my pant legs up. I can fix it myself." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Somewhere warm… “There is a bonfire close by, if you are able to walk. Otherwise… I could get someone to help you..?” Broken legs… how cruel of that man. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"No fire-" Madison said quickly. Perhaps she hadn't noticed the torches on the paths around them.. "I-.. I can get myself s-somewhere.. Don't touch me. Or tell anyone else im here " @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Still, the wolf looked puzzled. “If that is what you wish. I’ll be leaving then. May you heal quickly.” And with that the wolf began to walk away. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Once again, Madison didn't try to stop him. She was clearly waiting for him to leave before she moved. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

And he left.

The wind was still quite bitter cold, but a little easier to tolerate after warming up inside. Lykos led the family to the shed, scanning the area to be sure no one would interrupt them. “Here. It should be easy for you to open.” @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

Jymaiyri followed Lykos closely as they ventured through the cold, holding Minerva close the entire time. She did indeed easily open the door (another win opposable thumbs), and frowned a bit as she saw the inside. "This... should do." She sighed, barely audible over the wind. "Thank you, Dr. Lykos." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

“Of course. I do wish there was somewhere better for the both of you, but as you said, this will do.” @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

"I'll see you around." Jymaiyri said as she slipped into the shed, closing the door behind her. "Stay safe out there." @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

Well. This was the nearest room. Dante held one arm up to twist the handle and pushed the door open with his shoulder. He crawled in and used his foot to close the door behind them, collapsing down on to the floor. Thankfully he was the one in charge of cleaning it, so he knew it was clean. "Th-there.. We made it..!" Dante said between breaths, his body feeling like it was on fire by this point. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran laid still for a few moments, looking around and coming to the conclusion this was a restroom. They frowned a bit in confusion, but at least it was warmer inside. Then they realized they should give Dante some room to breathe, and rolled off of him. Kiran's body was still aching, and their systems were a bit fucked up by the sudden temperature changes, but things were slowly getting sorted out and fixed. They lied on the floor, looking at the ceiling with a blank expression. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

It did seem that Dante was taking some deeper breahts once Kiran had rolled off of him. "Th-thank you." Dante said, laying there for a moment before crawling over toward the shower area. He reached up toward the lever that would turn the water on, but his arm wouldn't reach up high enough unless he stood up. So he gave up and laid on the floor. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran replied with more clicking and creaking sounds. Their translator was still repairing itself and only let out a few robotic syllables and static, before shutting down with a click. After a few moments, Kiran's body temperature seemed to even out and stabilize. Their co-ordination and motor skills returned first, and they sat up carefully, looking back at Dante. Then, they stood up slowly, taking support from the wall, before trudging to the man. "Krrk..?" They put a hand on the shower lever. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Dante rolled his head to the side so he could see what Kiran was doing. "Oh- yes I was trying to turn the shower on. It's very hot, but I was hoping.. Less hot than me right now." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Nrr.. k-k-eerrrnrr-ek?" They tilted their head, looking at Dante for a moment with a tilted head and a slight frown, before shrugging, and cranking the lever. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Yeah Dante had no idea what they were saying. As they pulled the lever there was a slight screeching noise and steaming hot water came out from the showerhead and right down on to Dante. That water was fucking hot, but he seemed to appreciate it as he rolled over so he was face up and held his arms out to the side. "Thank you." Dante said, getting drenched in his stupid little suit. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Mnrieer-nr-r..." Kiran backed off, stepping out of the water and shaking it off a bit. They sat down and watched a little amused as Dante's clothes got soaked in the water. Huh. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

More steam billowed off of Dante as the water hitting him evaporated and floated upward. This was quickly becoming a sauna. "I'm not sure if this is helping much.." Dante mumbled after the room was thick with steam. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"Mm..." Kiran huffed, and stood up again, splishing and splashing closer to Dante again, trying to avoid the spouting water, and turned the shower off. Then they shook some droplets off of their mane, and looked at Dante with an inquiring frown, still a bit amused, but also not having any idea how this person's mind was working. Thet tried to reboot their translator, and a Default English Human Voice came out: "Are you okay?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Oh hello you do talk- and um- I feel like I'm on fire but I feel like that must be normal!" Dante said, not peeling himself up from the floor. "I'm sure it'll go away in time, don't worry about me." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran frowned. "Maybe go in the snow?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. Um. I can't move.. Very far." Dante said, grunting with effort as he tried to roll on to his side. "Y-you can go. I'll be fine." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran made an unsatisfied throat sound. Moral choices. Oh how they hated them. After looking at Dante for a moment longer, they turned, and walked away. They opened the door and left the restroom. After a short while, they came back with their arms full of fluffy snow, which they brought to Dante and dropped on top of him. Not so easy with this cold and dry snow. They couldn't get much of it all the way to him. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Dante continued to lay there after Kiran left. After all, he said they were free to go... He was a bit surprised as they came back in and managed to get a few drops of somewhat cold water to land on him. Which immediately sizzled and evaporated off of him. "Th-thank you- um- maybe I need to go let off some heat.. Maybe.. I-I don't know." Dante mumbled, still stuck on his back. "Th-this hasn't happened before.." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

"How?" Kiran asked and tilted their head. "You overheated from the exertion?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I don't know- I've done hard stuff before and it was fine.." Dante mumbled. He wasn't keen to bring it up, but he couldn't rule out that this was another one of Rakin's punishments. He must have given him the powers, so he could probably control how they behaved as well. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran grunted again. Great... They sighed and brushed a hand up their forehead, looking up and thinking. Then, they crouched near Dante and grabbed his ankles. "I can put you in the snow." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Dante didn't try to pull his legs away, or really do anything. "That- might help.." It was going to melt the snow around him, but maybe the cold air would help as well. "I-i'm not very heavy, so... You should be able to drag me." @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran nodded, and started pulling Dante out the door and back into the freezing cold. Ugh. They wouldn't be able to remain there for long, but if they stayed close to Dante, maybe it'd be fine for a little while. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The moment Isabelle found the restroom, she bolted inside, locking the door without hesitation. Huh... it had a lock. She set the clothes down as she looked around. Thank god there's a shower. As she started preparing to finally wash off the sweat and sand, something began to appear in the mirror. Just in time for Isabelle to turn around. Fun. "Jesus fucking Christ... it's just you two." Isabelle was looking worse for wear... it's been a while since she's looked in the mirror. Looked at them. In the mirror stood two figures, both looking eerily similar to Isabelle with very distinct differences. If you know you know. "Where have you been? You have never been this far away from a mirror before." "It's out of character, even for you to dodge us this long. You look like shit by the way." "God, I did not miss you two. If you must know, I'm in space. This is the first mirror I've actually encountered in this entire place." "Space, huh?" "Yes, space. We all know I'm not the fuckin type to joke. I'm stuck again. In another tournament. And I can't reach anything. I am stuck here. And you can't help me. I've already tried." The figures look over Isabelle, who is very much worse for wear at the moment. "If you do not mind, I would like to shower in peace. I just went from tropical hell to blizzard, and I would like to be clean." The reflections nodded, one more begrudgingly, and watched in silence as steam soon blocked their view. After what felt like an eternity, the steam subsided as Isabelle started to put on the new, much warmer clothes.

"You guys wouldn't happen to know what's going on on Earth, do you?" "We were going to mention it... Around the time you went radio silent, everything went radio silent. It's never been this quiet before. We only got a few glimpses of you here and there, but we couldn't see anything else. We were stranded." The figure put her hand to the glass, Isabelle reciprocating the movement. "Well, we're still stranded... but at least part of my lifeline is here now. Finding a mirror here has been impossible. If I don't find anything... I'll just come back. Do me a solid and keep an eye out for anything happening in here." "Aye-aye captain." Isabelle nodded, putting the coat on as she finished drying her hair and braiding it. She opened the door to the restroom and stepped out.

Sovran had taken a very nice and long shower to get nice and clean. Luckily, he had finished changing when the announcement came. Unluckily, he had been stretching when it came in, and with his hands raised, he got teleported away..

.... Boop. Aldreda was in here. "Oh- wow it's humid in here-" She staggered a bit as she squinted around, trying to find the door through all the steam. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran dropped into the restroom, back where he had been before. He stumbled on one leg and fell down to one knee. Or rather, his only knee. Haha. Fun. "Shit," He cursed. "Yeah, sorry- I showered with the water hot. Didn't think it'd still be this humid in here." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Oh hi- good thing you were already dressed, ha!" Aldreda tried to laugh, but it was clear she was genuinely finding it hard trying to breathe. She made it to the wall and leaned against it, feeling around for the door handle. "Ahem- was the- shower nice?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Yeah, I didn't mean to- Go to the fight, it just sort of happened," Sovran cleared his throat. He slowly pushed himself up to his foot and grabbed his crutches. He headed to the door. "Here, let me grab that." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Thank you, it's just a bit hard to breathe with all this water in the air, hah." She sucked in another deep breath. "And sorry about your leg, Connie said that was new. Rough." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran pushed open the door. He motioned for Alreda to step out if she wanted. "I get that, it can be a pain," He hummed before glancing down to his leg. "Yeah, that's- That's new. It sucked, and it hurts mighty bad, but I'm hangin' in there. I'm still kickin'." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Pretty quickly, all the warm air in the room whooshed out the door and outside. Aldreda happily crossed the threshold herself, her hair turning to flames as she took in even more air. "Ah! Much, much, much better." Aldreda said, throwing her arms up in the air. "But yeah, Sovvy, is that what Connie called ya? You're a trooper for that. If I foreva lost my leg, I'd be whining about it! And I'd kick the guy's ass who did it to me with my good leg until that one fell off too." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran looked intrigued as her hair turned to flames. Huh, nifty. "Yeah, that's what Con calls me," Sovran chuckled. "But the name's Sovran. But thanks, I appreciate that, I'm just tryin' to push through it. It was to help out one of the kids that're here, so it's worth it to me." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Ah, Sovran. I haven't heard a name like that before." Aldreda chuckled, and her hair condensed back down to.. Hair. "But dang, helping a kid and he cut off your leg? That's harsh. But I get it, my brother was never all that receptive to my help either, hehe." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Sovran found himself laughing. "No, no, he didn't cut it off. My abilities are- Complicated, but I was able to take one of his powers that was hurtin' him. Poison. It ate away at his arm, and so when I took it, it targeted my leg. The kid didn't do it." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Ough! Poison. One of my girlies back home has those powers. We took her in when everyone else thought she was too dangerous. We can't really get poisoned, soooo no harm!" Aldreda chuckled again, twirling around a few strands of hair around her ungloved fingers. "That was awful nice of ya though. Hopefully you can figure out something to do during your fight. "Huh, how come you can't get poisoned?" Sovran asked. "You got a resistance to it? An' my powers can do a bit, but nothin' like help me walk on two feet again. I'll have to stick with crutches or get a prosthetic of some kind." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Well, I'm a phoenix, I can't die. My metabolism also would literally burn away any poison, but if it somehow killed me, I'd just come back! I'm immune to practically everything." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Aldreda paused the twirling of her hair for just a moment, before giggling again. "So you're saying I'm not hot?" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Hah!" Aldreda laughed even harder now. "You ain't too bad yourself. Though, you look a bit cold without any winter-wear on.. You must be freezing." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"'preciate that," Sovran laughed. "Nah, I ain't too cold. Where I come from, it gets about this cold. The people there have sort of grown a bit immune to the cold." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Well- The steam in here's already quite warm," Sovran shifted slightly on his one leg. Why'd he have a feeling that Jymaiyri would disapprove of this? If anything came of this. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Oh, it is! But you just let it all out when you opened the door for little ol' me.. And who knows if we're on a limited water supply or not, I'd hate for you to waste all that water just to get warmed up again." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

"Yepppp, good luck, Sovs!" Aldreda waved. She pulled up the feathers at her waist and turned in to a glorious fiery eagle before flying off. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu
