As soon as she was placed down, she moved herself as far away from him as possible. "Don't touch my legs." She replied instantly and held her legs close to herself. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Well, the furthest away would of been at the foot of the frame, so she only was away by a few feet. Kian simply nodded. "Very well... A-As I said before, I'm Kian. What's your name, miss?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Madison Jura? Like with Jymaiyri, the wheels began to turn in his head as he recalled years of information. Time from home.. time from alternate dimensions. Kian tried to hide the face he made, but to anyone, it was obvious. He recognized her. "O-Oh.. Nice to meet you, Miss Madison. Uhm.." He looked down to her legs for a moment. Kian awkwardly looked away from Madison's judging glare. "N-Nothing.. you just reminded me of someone I knew," he replied quietly. "It's.. been happening a lot lately." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

He let out a small chuckle at that. "I-I suppose so. I'm sorry if it's strange," Kian apologized. "Back outside.. y-you asked about my powers. I never really had a name for it, but my mother always called it Power Roulette... It's b-because I can use several powers at random." Which was half true. ".. Random..?" Madison asked. She looked at him for another moment before looking down at her boots. Boots that had laces. She made a bit of a face and tried to jut pull them off. "Is the power new every time?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"M-Most of the time, yeah.. I've recorded about twenty different types already," Kian nodded. He watched as Madison tried to take her shoes off, but didn't offer to help just yet. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. You've only ever used your powers around twenty times?" Madison asked and continued trying to shove off one of the boots. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"N-No.. but all the times I've used them, it's been in that circle of twenty," Kian elaborated. He watched for a few seconds more before finally speaking up. "D-Do.. do you need assistance with your boot?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Okay. So they're not always new.." Madison corrected for him. She gave up trying to force the boot off and focused her attention to the knot instead. She pulled at the loop, making the tie get itself in to a knot that was even harder to get out. "Urgh- this is why all my shoes don't have laces." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian let out a small chuckle as Madison whined. "I-I can untie them for you if you'd like, Miss Madison.. Only i-if you'll permit me, of course," he offered. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Kian nodded and did as asked. With one hand, it was a rather slow process, but Kian got the knots untied no problem otherwise. "T-There you go, Miss Madison," he smiled. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"... Thanks." Madison mumbled and finally managed to shove the boots off. From what could be seen from where her jeans ended, at least her feet were prosthetics. A dull, smooth metal with a few plastic elements for flexibility. There was a thin LED strip going along the inside and presumably up the rest of her leg that was glowing a slight red color. "Eugh. Yeah, fried.." She blinked at her own comment, taking in a deep breath. "...Shorted out. I can fix it, its just annoying.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

He couldn't help but look at Madison's prosthetics when she took off her boots. They seemed to be a decent material and made perfectly for the woman's height and weight. It made sense with what he vaguely knew about the woman. "You can fix these yourself..?" Kian asked, but he already knew the answer. ".. Well, I sure hope so. Unless I can compete with a wheelchair this time..." Madison mumbled once again and began pulling up her pant leg. She pulled it up to right above her knee, where flesh finally met metal. Well, she had on some special padding between, and there was some.. Kinesio tape coming up from the nub a few inches up her leg? It looked like that, anyway. She held her hand out in front of her, palm up, and her her glowed gray for just a moment before fading. "Damn it- I still can't get to my pocket dimension.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian listened to and watched Madison quietly, his own thoughts still racing in his head. He wasn't too particularly interested in Madison herself, but he was curious. After meeting Agustin and Jymaiyri here, he supposed it wasn't too far fetched to say there would be others he could be familiar with. The boy looked down at her prosthetics once more and let out a small hum. "This time..? What do you mean by that, Miss Madison?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. I was in a different tournament. Going on twelve years now. I survived it." Madison mumbled. "So maybe you can understand why I'm- already on edge." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian looked a bit surprised by that, but not confused. "I-I see.. That's.. quite unfortunate that your luck has ended you somewhere like this twice," he frowned. "H-How old are you now, Miss Madison?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Twenty six." Madison said and pressed down on a small compartment on the backside of the leg. It popped open with a click, revealing the inner wiring and a few very small tools on the backside of the door. Madison pressed a button inside the leg and some air wheezed out from the cushioned area, letting the prosthetic release and fall on to the mattress. She grabbed it and got to work on fixing the internals. "I've made a lot of these by now. But usually I have better tools to work with.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Twenty six... Kian thought for a moment before looking up at the woman. "I-I wish I could help you more.. I'm a bit useless when it comes to this kind of stuff," he commented with a small chuckle. "You said Rakin electrocuted you..? I-I feel like that's going a bit far. I'm glad you g-got out of there with no further injuries." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Yeah- twice. Once when he was speaking nonsense and once to knock me out again." Madison huffed and pulled out a few wires. "What did he do to you?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Ah ha.. I-It's more like what I did to him," Kian awkwardly smiled. "H-He had me all chained up to the wall.. I couldn't really move, but uhm.. M-My powers.. I don't really have good control of them, s-so when I thought he was going to hurt me, they just.. activated on their own. H-He only really knocked me out at the end and stuff with a small shock, but nothing t-too bad." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. You hurt him..?" Madison frowned, glancing over at Kian. "A-and you're.. Okay?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

He looked down at his feet, his awkward smile still present on his lips. "Y-Yeah.? I-I think so, at least. I didn't mean to hurt him.. I don't like doing that kind of stuff on purpose," Kian sighed. ".. Well, it seems like this guy may be kinder than Chen was at least.." Madison huffed, shoving a few wires back in to place. "I shot Chen and he had his team of guards beat me in to unconsciousness. Then he assigned this fucking psychopathic guard to watch me- well, one sweet guy and one psychopath." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian wasn't going to bother asking who this Chen person was. He already knew who he was and the kinds of things he was capable of, but he doubted Madison wanted to hear about an alternate universe where similar things happen to her. Instead, he frowned and gave her a sympathetic look. "W-What..? You must of been only a child then.. that's a-awful," Kian commented. "I was fourteen." Madison stated plainly. "And I was surprised as well, but without him, I'd probably be dead. He helped me even when it put him in danger. And we're still friends now." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"W-Well.. at least you got a good friend out of it. A-As awful as everything else sounds," Kian smiled, trying to be positive. "What do you do now that you're an adult, Miss Madison?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Well, with my powers it's always been pretty obvious what I'm meant to do." Madison closed up the panel and held her fingertips to the sides of the leg. There was a bit of a shock applied, and the previously red LED strip lit up blue. She put the leg back on, and once it was attached, it sucked in a bit more air before fitting just right. "I run a tech company called Juradins. I make and design just about everything. My company will be fine to run without me for.. However long this takes this time. Basically everything is automated for day to day stuff." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian hummed, taking note of her prosthetics once more before smiling a bit. "Impressive... Well, s-sometimes, people choose a little less conventional jobs opposite of their powers. Guess you took the former," Kian commented. "I-I hope everything is alright when you get back home. Madison began to repeat the process on the other leg. "Well the tech scene is pretty lucrative right now. Even my dad was in a.. Similar industry before I obtained his powers." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Oh..? R-Really? Did your dad start a company too or something?" He asked curiously. He wondered if there was any big differences between his world and this Madison's. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. To preface, he was an awful guy and I do different things than he did." Madison huffed. "He was a weapons dealer. Super advanced stuff. I'm glad he lost his powers, he wasn't using them for anything good." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Ah.." So not too different. Kian's expression faltered just a bit and he offered Madison a sympathetic look. "I-I see... well, I'm glad you're not like him," he said, but the tone sounded quite personal once again. "W-What is he doing now without his powers?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Madison took note of that change, but she was a bit worried about what he might know. "Well. He's been dead for a while now. So.. nothing. Bet he's in the cursed realm or whatever." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"H-He's dead?" Kian asked, clearly surprised by that. Of course, he was already dead by now in Kian's world, but he didn't remember Marc dying that young. "I-I see.. well... I would say I'm sorry, but something tells me you two didn't have a good relationship.. s-so... At least you're living a good life now." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. Why are you so surprised? I've been talking about him in past tense the entire time." Madison raised an eyebrow but didn't look away from her work. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Oh.. I just figured you d-don't keep in contact with him anymore," Kian shrugged. "B-But seems like it's a more.. permanent thing. Are you happy in what you're doing now, Miss Madison?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. Yes, I'm happy enough." Madison said and finished up the work on her leg. She reattached it and stretched. "Why are you acting so strange around me?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian raised a brow at Madison and let out a small chuckle. "P-People do tend to say I am a bit odd. Apologies if I made you uncomfortable, Miss Madison..." Kian replied, negating any possible way for Madison to probe. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"..." Madison stared back at him, scrutinizing his expression. "I could make you a prosthetic arm if I get the right materials." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

At that, Kian instinctively tugged his cape further along his chest. "O-Oh.. so you've noticed," he smiled awkwardly. "I've tried getting a prosthetic made before.. B-But it's never really worked out. I always end up breaking them," Kian sighed. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Well I could tell from how you picked me up that you only had one arm. Or you were trying to show off." Madison said, and smiled just a tad. "Sounds like you're giving me a challenge. This is what my powers are made for." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Well.. even if you're capable of making me one.. w-where would we even get the materials?" He asked curiously. If he was lucky, Kian could make materials with his mother's powers... but he doubted he could manifest them on the spot. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I.. When I was doing some research on the previous wielders of my powers- the people way before my dad- they seemed to be able to work with whatever was technologically innovative at the time. Wood, stone, bronze.. Maybe if I'm kept away from electronics for a time.. my powers will rework themselves in that way..? I'm not too sure, I've hardly ever been away from my phone for more than a handful of days.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Hm. That was quite interesting, honestly. A kind of power that kept on innovating itself over time. Kian didn't know that before. "R-Really? That's amazing," Kian smiled. "Well... If you're willing to try when we have the right materials, I would appreciate another prosthetic. I uh.. I am sparse on change, however. How can I repay you?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Kian genuinely took a few seconds to think about that. "..P-Perhaps just slightly less crazy," he replied, sighing and shaking his head. "I-I know you—Well, not you, you. I know you from.. another place. Another dimension. Two of them, actually," Kian admitted, waiting to gage Madison's reaction. (edited)

".. Another... dimension..." Madison looked away from him and put her finger to her chin, humming. "Like- I had always theorized that this could be possible, but I had no proof for it. Those- parallel but different universes.. they're similar still, right?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"S-Sometimes similar. Other times, they're completely different beyond a few key details," Kian explained. "In m-my own world, uhm.. I-I had an uncle named Enzo, and he had a dad who was the king of a nation. His dad was.." Kian paused, a slight pink to his cheeks as he tried to come up with an appropriate word. "..He was a c-companion of sorts with your father, Marc Lullian. For reasons, I-I also jumped to another timeline different from my own, and this one's. I ended up at an odd island trying to find the version of my home, but it was.. a s-suspicious place, to say the least. T-There was a girl there with the same name and appearance as you.. but she worked for the island's host instead of what you do. "Yeah.. friends," Kian smiled. He didn't really want to think about what Marc and Marco really were, so Kian didn't. "A-And that is pretty much all, yes. The host invited me to stay for a while and to participate in her event, but I had no interest. There were some others I briefly met during my docking, but that is all. "Oh.. I see. I guess the difference between guard or Kabuki i-is a minor detail between the worlds," Kian shrugged. Then came Madison's next question and Kian couldn't help but make a face this time. The adult thing made some sense. She had a few ideas of how that could have happened now, but.. Eugh, she didn't want to think about that at all. "No Aries is fine." Madison said with the same petty tone. "Him and Tyler are always together. For sure." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

".. Yeah- just.. I'll be here thinking about all that, I guess.." Madison sighed and laid back on the bed. "Lemme know if you see any of those other people I mentioned. Kian nodded and straightened out his cape. "Mhm.. I-I'll keep a look out for anyone with those names," he replied and finally gave Madison a genuine smile, even if it was small. "Stay safe, Miss Madison," Kian bid her farewell before leaving her vicinity. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽
