The wolf squinted, sniffing the air. This person… not human. Lykos turned to the one speaking. “You. What are you- Silvestrian? Where am I.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Connie fiddled with the end of her scarf, tensing up somewhat more. A lot more. "Uh. Someone's looking for some food 'n water for her and her kid," Connie started. "But, uh- I was. I kinda found myself in that building," she said, pointing at the large, warm building she had just left. "That's where the kid is. And by kid, I mean, like a little baby. About this tiny." Frogling? She swore she heard that before. After a moment of pondering, she suddenly snapped her gloved fingers, ecstatic. "Frogling!" Connie suddenly exclaimed. "The lightning guy! Who sent me here! Us? He talked about the king of the froglings, or something!" She scrunched her nose, cocking her head to the side in thought. "Also about Pilarians and Galleons. I needa think back about them, or somethin'." Coughing a little, Connie clasped her hands together, trying to be as polite as she could humanly be. "Um! I don't know if babies can eat fish? But. Uh. Frogling? The doctor had never heard of those, but… the wolf looked to the sky. These are not their stars. They were free from those bastards of Novus- but still imprisoned by that thing that brought them here. Lykos huffed, turning to the chattering human. “What the hell are you talking about- what idiot brought an infant here.” The wolf actually looked at the person speaking. “You- another child?! "Hey!" Connie loudly protested, a little dismayed that the dog was pretty frickin' rude already, "she probably didn't mean to, like, bring a baby, she looked pretty worried about it to me!" "Rakin!" Connie instantly looked at the Frogling at that, eyebrows furrowing as she continued on with her praises and affections about Rakin- a similar? Kind of? Vibe Connie had gotten earlier when talking, but something just felt wrong. "He- he must have our best intentions at heart." "M...hm!" Connie slowly said, unease settling in her stomach. Hestitating slightly on her words, she cautiously continued, "Wait, so, uh, you prolly know why we're here, right? To fight in the tournament 'n- and- y'know, like, lose, and- stuff?" She really, really wanted to say something about the Pilarians, but she didn't want to antagonize the frogling either- especially since she was gonna help Connie get some food for the little baby kiddo. Lykos growled at the mention of a king. They just escaped one insane monarchy, they were not dealing with another. Their last few hunts had failed, but they were not about to take scraps. “You may not be human, but I have no reason to trust you.” The fire had warmed them enough. "Ah, okay! Alright," Connie mumbled a little, scratching her chin. Seems like she couldn't really help them with this stuff. "So, uh! You live here? With? Some other guys?" She scrunched her shoulders as the wolf bolted off (ha), watching as he disappeared into the big forest. Forest and snow. She quickly turned her attention back to the Frogling, a small smile returning to her face. "Oh! No worries! I, uh, can help get some food? And stuff?" she asked, shrugging a little. "To replace what I took, 'n stuff. Though, uh." Her gaze shifted to what seemed like a river off in the distance, not too far from them- "I'm kinda good at fishing? Eh?
