Well yes... It did seem like there was no one familiar around.. Until Zahara and Rakin were walking up to the bonfire. Rakin had his arm wrapped around Zahara's waist, holding her close at his side while they walked. Zahara had a large fluffy blanket draped off of her shoulders, which she gradually shed as they approached the flames. Rakin paid no mind to anyone else at the bonfire. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Just as she was peeling off her gloves with her teeth, she noticed some figures approaching the bonfire- two very familiar figures- one who most likely should not have been here! Actually! Connie damn near dropped her gloves into the bonfire out of surprise, before quickly jamming them into her pockets as she hastily made her way over to Zahara and Rakin. Rakin! Great! "Zahara!" she exclaimed, a little bit panicked at the sight. Aw, she looked pretty rough- "Zahara, a-are you alright? Um-" She wasn't trying to intentionally ignore Rakin, so she lifted a very tiny, wary hand up to wave at him. "-hi- are you alright? I just saw you walkin' over!" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin held Zahara closer as Connie approached, like this small child could possibly harm Zahara right now. "I-I'm alrigh'." Zahara nodded, holding her hands in front of her. "Thanks fa askin." Rakin eyed Connie wearily. Regardless of that, he did hold up his free hand to wave back at Connie even more awkwardly than she did to him. "Do you require something, child?" Rakin asked, as more of a statement. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

While Zahara didn't...look alright, she wasn't the one to keep pressuring on for answers- with the added little teensy fact that Rakin was also there, too. "That's...good, at least," she said after a moment. "Sorry for the sudden, like- everything, it's just...yeah," she lamely finished, patting her coat a little bit. "You looked...kind of rough, and it just surprised me, that's all." She couldn't really pinpoint what could have happened- but Zahara didn't seem like the type to get into fights or anything! Two very awkward guys, who were both kinda bad at talking. Connie began patting her coat a little bit more at Rakin's question (question?), humming a tuneless note as she thought. "Um, I was looking for a needle- a sewing needle, I think? To make fabric- I don't actually know what it looks like." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"A sewing needle. I have those. Why do you need it." Rakin asked. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Um. A friend wanted a sewing needle to make fabric. And I was. Uh. Looking around for. One." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Is that all? I can make more clothes if someone needed it. Like how I made all of your clothes." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Oh, you made the clothes?" Connie suddenly yelped, looking down at her clothes with surprise. They were actually pretty well made- she hadn't even thought about where these clothes had come from. "Huh! It's, it's actually pretty toasty. Um. Thanks!" Shuffling a little more, she said, "oh, it's not to make clothes- a friend wanted to make like, some stuffed dolls and stuff, but she doesn't have fabric to make it. No- her powers, uh, she can make. "You're welcome. I like making clothes." Rakin said. And making Saw traps, apparently. Very different things. "Some.. dolls. I can make her ones or get her ones. That would be easier, yes?" @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"That...would be easier," she considered. "Um...I think she likes making the dolls herself, really. I think she likes makin' stuff in general, but, um! Thanks for the offer! Maybe just the...fabric, maybe? Oh! And the sewing needle, Nora wanted the sewing needle." She was moreso mumbling the last part to herself, scratching a little at her chin in thought. Yeah, she liked making the stuff! She liked usin' her powers- or so she figured, by her making all of her clothes and whatnot. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Does she need any fabric scissors or pins..? Stuffing..? To make a stuffed doll you need more than just fabric and a sewing needle, child." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Connie blinked a little, her nose briefly wrinkling at that. Somewhat patronizing feeling. She shook her head a little, however, continuing to mess with her coat. "She said she just needed a needle to make her own fabric," Connie simply said, deciding to focus on the bonfire instead. "I don't know much about sewing. That's all she really said, I think." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Hmm. Well I'll just get what she asked for, then. I already have plenty of that here, so no need to zap any more up." Rakin took in a deep breath any slowly released Zahara, who folded her hands in front of her as Rakin stepped toward Connie. He leered down at her, scrutinizing her every slight facial movement. "If any harm comes to Zahara from what I bring, I will personally see to it that the next place that sewing needle ends up is your eye." "Raina-.. I'll be fine. Dun say stuff like that.. that's mean.." Zahara frowned. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Connie's brows furrowed together deeply at the threat- if she were any more on edge, she probably would've burst out crying. Instead, she inhaled a slow little breath between her teeth, trying to keep her it even and low. She thought Rakin was kinda a cool adult at first. Bummer she kinda had to find out this way. "I don't hurt people," she finally said, pale yellow eyes watching Rakin. "And I especially don't hurt my friends." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Good. But I'm less so worried about you and more about the other people on this side. Including people I thought I could trust. I am hesitant to introduce any new potential weapons to this side. That anyone could take." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

What should have been fear slowly morphed into worry, and then concern, brows furrowed together even more than before. Potential weapons? Other people? She got the potential weapons part...only kinda, but... Glancing a little bit at Zahara, she quietly, slowly asked, "What happened to you guys?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Dante tried to kill Zahara not too long ago. But he has been dealt with." Rakin huffed. Zahara's frown only deepened, but she refrained from making any comments. "I have no qualms about sending you to my master as well if any more harm befalls Zahara." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Dante sounded familiar- he was the guy Zahara mentioned earlier, the guy who made the food for them. She frowned a little, if only slightly, head tilted to the side. And the master, his master again. Lykos was talking about this master earlier, and Rakin had...apologized for sending her here at the request of his master. "Your master?" she repeated, tilting her head to the other side. "Who's he? I thought you were the one running everything." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"That's none of your concern right now. You'd be best not to pry. You don't want to be involved with them." Rakin dismissed. "I do run everything. I make the plans. And they give their input and tell me their visions for the future. I'm expected to make decisions that fall in line with that future." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Fine," she sighed, tapping her finger a little against her arm. "I'm not gunna pry." Not that she was too keen about giving up so early- just that she didn't want to be the next one sent up to his master. "...Did you choose the people to switch sides?" she quietly asked. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Alrai Pin has a vision, like I said before, and I am moving people in accordance with that. That's all." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Alrai Pin. Not that that would have helped with...anything, really, she still didn't really know who they were. The tapping grew a little against her arm, and after a moment, she asked, "when you mean vision, d'you mean like- an actual vision? Like, a see the future vision, or hope for the best kinda vision?" Connie cocked her head to the side and hummed, "it'd be kinda cool if they had future vision." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. They just know what they want. And they have a lot of plans." Rakin said. "I am the one constructing their ideal reality for them. But I think this is plenty about them. You do not need to be worrying about this as long as you stay in line." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Huh...I see- that's actually kinda cool? Does this ideal reality have to do with fixing th' mistake the King of the Froglings and Gallarians made? Since, like, the Pilarians are the bearers of knowledge and stuff, right?" A tiny little gasp- "ohh, that's why they're called Pilarians." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. Th-the.. mistake.. What mistake did ya make, Raina..?" Zahara frowned, slowly reaching out to grab his hand. He yanked it away, crossing his arms over his chest. "You would be wise to cease your theorizing now, froglet." @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Huh, so she guessed right, too. "Huh?" she asked, looking back and forth between Zahara and Raina- or, well, Rakin, before yelping with well-feigned shock. "Oh!" Connie bleated, hands leaping to her mouth. "Oh, I didn't know you- you- oh, uh- wuh,- um-" She wrung her hands a together, rocking a little on her heels as she spoke, rushed and quick and apologetic. "Sorry! I, um, I didn't know you- were, um...y'know...oh, crumbs. Sorry! A-again." "I'm just gonna get the, um...needle and go," she quietly said with a wince, wringing her hands together. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Rakin seemed convinced enough that her reaction was genuine. He huffed, keeping his arms crossed. "If I fetch you this needle will you stop asking so many questions?" @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Uh- mhm! Yeah, I was- I was just going to go, anyways." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Fine. You'd be best to mind your own business after this." Rakin sighed and zapped away. Zahara stayed silent for a moment, before glancing over at Connie. "Y-you.. What do you know about Raina..?" She asked quietly. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Connie shuffled a little in place after Rakin left, shaking her hands a little bit from the stress and the cold. It was only when Zahara spoke that she perked up, blinking at her question. "Um...to be honest, not much," she admitted- and that was the truth. Not some little polite-kid lie. "I met them like...once? And that was it. Um...back when I got here, that is." She fiddled with her hair a little, adding, "I just kinda know they're...running all of this, I guess." It wasn't really a lie if she didn't...really tell Zahara about Rakin and the Galarians, right? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I.. I know that much too.." Zahara sighed. "I wish he'd.. be more honest an' open.. like he used tuh.. Now he's always zippin around like a frog with a fire on its back.." Seems like their discussion was only going to be brief as Rakin zapped back in and held out a pin cushion toward Connie. It was the shape of a brown toad and made of felt, and there were many different sewing needles in it. It seemed well used, to say the least about its condition. "There. There's multiple because you'll probably lose some. Take it." Rakin stared down at Connie. @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

Connie was about to respond to Zahara's worries before Rakin returned- this time with a little toady-pin cushion. She was about to respond with awe before Rakin's second jab of the night. Fun! "I'm not gunna lose it," she sniffled, taking the pin cushion verrry carefully. So tiny. So frickin' cute. "I'm going to give it to Nora so that she can make some stuff." "I'll, um, see you guys around," she said, glancing a little at the kitchen. "Um- bye, Zahara! I hope y'feel better soon! Um.
