Connie nearly dropped all of her frickin' croutons at the speed she turned around, and launched herself at Sovran with squeal of delight and the tightest hug she could muster- well, with as much strength as a kid could offer, anyways. "I am not a crouton thief!" Connie squealed, pressing her face into Sovran. There he was! After all this time, even before her fight, here was her friend, live and in the flesh! And not some creepy fake, either! "Sovran, I missed you so much! I- I was looking around for you when both sides opened up, and- Sovran, you're here! Arrgh!" She squeezed Sovran even tighter, absolutely grinning like mad. "And you're real, too!" @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

“I’m real, I’m real, an’ so are you!” Sovran laughed as he hugged the kid. She felt familiar in his arms, a comforting warmth that he had been missing for what feels like ages now. He couldn’t help but give her a stronger little squeeze. “I’ve missed you big time, Con! So much that I’m willin’ to look past your crouton crimes.” @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Heck yeah! We're both real!" she laughed. No fake-goofy-Alrai Pin today! "I was hoping I'd bump into you sooner, but that's alright! How're you? How's your leg! Have you been alright? Did you see Alrai Pin? Or Rakin?" Still hugging Sovran, Connie dug through her pockets to present her own pocket crouton, lint included. "Here! I brought you a snack! "Sorry I didn't seek you out from the start, it's been one thing after another for me, but I'm glad to see you well, kiddo," Sovran gave Connie another squeeze. "I've been alright, been handlin' the leg thing alright. I've ran into Alrai Pin, but- You- You have?" Sovran asked. Despite denying Nathan's lint-crouton, he accepted Connie's. "Thank you, kiddo!
