It's dark in here. So dark. You can't even see your hand in front of your face kind of dark. "Welcome everyone. I do thank you for your attendance today. I hope you enjoy the theme, I have been viewing some of your human 'films', and this one really inspired me. I do hope that you can feel the passion in this arena. And wish Andre and Julien luck, they surely will- urgh- what was... thhhaat.. Urk-" An echo of a body hitting the ground reverberated across the room, and momentarily after, the lights turned on. A bathroom- a broken down, but surprisingly clean, bathroom.

On one end was a bathtub full of ice, which Julien was lying in, and on the other was Andre, sitting against the wall. They were both chained from their right ankles to pipes. The chains seemed sturdy, but not impossible to break.. It would definitely hurt if you tried.

Sitting on the men's laps were small envelopes with their own names written in thick, bold sharpie.

And in the middle of the room was Rakin, lying face down in a pool of his own blood. He looked dead. He certainly wasn't moving.

In his right hand was the totem, an orange and green stone nestled in the center. The green half oozed and moved on its own, but the orange only let out a weak pulsing light, like a heart beat. In his left was Andre's necklace. Angie would not be present to physically assist with this fight, but she could be here spiritually... Moral support..?

Julien first

Julien’s eyes snapped open, a wave of dread washing over him. He was no longer talking to Damien, but he wasn’t back on the b-side… He was in a bathtub. In a bathroom. A letter laying over him, his name scrawled on it in bold black sharpie. Julien- spelled with an ‘e’, not an ‘a’. Fuck, he’d seen this movie before. “Andre, was it?” Julien called over to the other man. “You holding up okay?” For his first move, he opted to open the envelope. Might as well get that over with. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

“Rise and shine, Julien. You’re probably wondering where you are. I’ll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. In the last few days, you have simply sat in the shadows, watching others live out their lives. But what do voyeurs see when they look into the mirror? Now, I see you as a strange mix of someone confused and apathetic. But mostly just pathetic. So are you going to watch yourself die again, Julien? Or do something about it?"

Andre let out a small groan as he came too and he looked around the area. What the hell was going on?? He looked rather panicked before he turned to the letter in his lap and opened the letter. "Huhwa..h??" He was confused. Then he glanced up at Julien. "Y-Yeah! A-Are you alright over there? I dun' wanna have to fight ya..." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Andre, this is your wake up call. Every day of your working life, you have wondered if you are still truly yourself. Now you get to choose, death, or whatever it is that you call living. Your aim in this arena is to get the totem with your life forces in it, killing Julien in the process. There are ways to win this hidden all around you. Just remember: X marks the spot for the treasure. If you do not get the totem before Julien, then you will die, Andre. And your body won’t even exist to rot. Let the game begin."

“Yeah… me neither…” Julien threw down the letter with a frustrated sigh. He couldn’t die again, and now it was being thrown back in his face, in a fucked up trial of sorts. Maybe he hadn’t valued his life enough… or his second chance. He was going to get out of this alive, even if it killed him. Wait- Julien cut off his thoughts, and immediately began trying his best to look around outside the bathtub, looking for something, anything to get him out of that damned chain. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

As soon as Andre was getting ready to run, a tile on the wall lifted up and sent out a decently sized rock straight at him. It hit him in the shoulder. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾 Julien turn. He is free to run or keep investigating, which will take his turn. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

The piece of metal had lodged itself quite deep into Julien’s shoulder, but on the bright side, he was free. He maneuvered himself over to the raised porcelain tile, and pried it open, practically digging his fingers under the tile in desperation. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Andre stumbled back and let out a hiss of pain. Crap, He clenced his fits before tears pricked up in his eyes. For Angie. He had to live for her- the two- He promised her he'd protect her and find a way out of the necklace and if he was dead? He-he couldn't do that. "I-Im sorry!" Andre called out. (body..horror..?) Andre's arm began to morph-it slowly began to shift and look disfigured. It turns into a grey like sludge substance before Andre clenched his teeeth. God- he..he didn't too but. Andre needed too. His arm shifted into a giant grey sludge ball before he tossed it at Julien, wincing as it landed on top of the other man. “It’s-“ Julien was cut off by a rather unsettling spectacle as Andre’s arm… morphed, and a ball of what must’ve been sludge smacked him in the face. He stood stunned for a moment, before shaking his head and hearing himself up to continue running towards Rakin. He was going to win… he had to… …Though surely Andre was thinking the same about himself. “It’s fine, really! I get it, and I’m sorry too!” Even with his injury, he continued onward.

Julien was nearly out of energy- he’d taken 3 sludge balls to the face, and the metal was still digging into his skin. He felt almost as hopeless as he’d been when Rakin had abducted him. Almost as hopeless as when he’d died the first time… But this time, it was different. He had one more shot, one more move before Andre secured the win. Though he had something Andre didn’t have. WIRE CUTTERS. And better yet, Julien had in fact, watched hit movie Saw. So, using his combined knowledge of maybe his least favorite torture centric movie and the tool in his hands, he did what anyone in his position would do if they didn’t want to die. He opened up the wire cutters as wide as they could go, positioned them around Rakin’s wrist, and… clamped down. Hard. Maybe that was the leverage he needed to get that totem.

Seems like he wasn't actually dead, but he was committed to that bit! The totem was all Julien's to grab... "Y-you- urgh!" Lightning sparked from his very broken hand, and the arena began to shift and tremble. "G-grab the totem you buffoon! Y-you're going to get us both killed for real!" Julien immediately released Rakin as soon as he began writhing. “I’m really sorry, man, I am, but if I didn’t do that, I was going to die,” he grimaced. “I-I thought you were dead!” a lie, but that was better than admitting the alternative. He quickly scrambled towards the totem, wasting no time scooping it up and holding it close to him. He looked back at Andre with an expression that could only be described as melancholic. “I’m really sorry Andre, you put up a really good fight.” he said to the other man. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Andre looked up from the ground before he looked at Julien and he smiled, breathing heavily. Well. He...he tried. "...I ain't mad." He shouted. "Please- please take care of Angie for me." He pointed to the necklace. "Take care of her...an',...make sure she gets outta the necklace, alright?" He stumbled back before he fell to his knees, tipping his hat. "Andre!" Angie manifested outside of the necklace. "No! You- you idiot! Fight him! Get- get the totem get-" She felt tears prick up in her eyes. "ANDRE! You can't do this to me!" She floated towards the other but, she couldn't get far. sludge time Andre felt his body morph and shift as he turned into a ball of sludge. Rakin kept his other hand on the necklace. A forcefield went up around Rakin and Julien, protecting them as the room continued to fall apart. The walls and floor all began to float apart in to the Abyss, taking Andre with it. Everything disintegrated... Including the ball of clothes that contained Andre. It lingered on for a time, before disappearing as well. A dark green ooze flowed and traveled up to the forcefield and inside, sinking in to the stone orb. It fought and battled out the orange glow, eventually overtaking it and turning the whole orange an oozing green. The forcefield held them up safely, and Rakin held up his shaky broken hand up toward the top. "H-hold my arm up." Rakin demanded, beginning to sweat. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“I’ll do everything I can.” Julien nodded at Andre, bowing his head as the other man seemingly melted away. He titled an invisible hat back at the pile of clothes, before turning away. Julien refused to watch what happened to the arena as he stood protected, instead looking around for the necklace- which Rakin was still holding. As soon as he spoke, Julien’s attention was fully brought back. “Fine, yeah, I got you,” he mused, doing as Rakin instructed. “I’d like that necklace you’re holding, though.” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"In due time." Rakin grunted, and with his arm supported, managed to zap them out of the area.. Julien wins. Please stand by as Rakin and Julien have a little chat!
