This arena was fairly simple, just a large bridge over a churning ocean of waves. To you, it seemed to stretch on forever.. Endless waves that eventually reached the horizon. The sun was setting, casting out brilliant orange and pinks to the water and sky. It made it a bit hard to tell where the water ended and the sky began.
The bridge was made out of sturdy wood, painted blue and purple. The pillars lifted it up at least twenty feet from the surface of the water, but spaced out every few feet were small rope ladders descending down to the waves to allow you to crawl back up if you could manage it. Small features of the bridge showed more frog carvings, and even some painted murals along the walls of frogs and toads fighting. Clearly, someone put a lot of love in to this arena.
On the far edge of the bridge was a marble podium sharing a similar design to the benches in the stands. On top of it rested a palm size totem- a stone frog with some kind of glowing orb embedded in it. This orb was a grayish blue and a reflective purple, the design spiraling around and whisking off the top in a fluid motion. Next to the podium was Rakin.
Madison and Isabelle spawned in on the same side of the bridge, with the wood ending with a wall right behind them. They were side by side, with the bridge stretching out in front and a wall behind them.
"Welcome everyone! This fight will be against Madison and Isabelle, two long time friends... Technology and mirrors, neither power has much use here."
"The goal of this fight will be to grab this totem! A very special totem that will secure your place in this tournament, and allow you special privileges! Needless to say, you will want to get to this totem by any means necessary. Good luck to both of our competitors, and may the Abyss carry on the loser. Farewell."
With a zap, Rakin flashed away.

Her only real friend was Tyler, but he was spending time with his boyfriend frequently. Everyone else she had were things she created. Replicas of her "friends", things she had created to keep herself company while she isolated herself from the world in her cold desolate tower.
Ulysses as the man she idolized, her hero, the man! The one who promised to save her from the dungeon, the man who did just that. The caring, strong man she knew all those years ago. Not the man who practically abandoned his family to go play his sport. Not the man she had hardly seen in the past five years.
Errol as a sober, intelligent, artistic version of himself. Not the sad, pathetic mess he currently was.
Isabelle as that strange middle ground of a sisterly/motherly figure, despite only being a couple of years older than her. She was strong, if not a bit harsh sometimes. Not this version of her that was abandoning her here.
Not the first time that she had been abandoned by her only group of friends.
But in her tower, she had the perfect recreations of them to keep her company.
They had become more her friends than these real people.

2Isabelle looks at the strange figure, reaching out to grab it but hesitating. This is so depressing man. But it... it's inevitable. This could very well backfire but at least she tried.... And if it was all in vain? We shall see.
She takes a deep breath before grabbing the statue. Just like the jade blade before. Just like Madison's hand when they finally managed to rescue her... Even if she did want to go back and grab her hand... it was too late.

Details:[d20-2 (20)]As Isabelle grabbed the statue, a protective forcefield covered her. The rest of the arena began to fade away piece by piece, starting with the water. The crumbling continued to the supports of the bridge, making the whole thing shake and shift. In the forcefield, Isabelle stayed still, perfectly safe.
Madison dug her fingers in to the wood, trying to keep her grip as her body shook with her sobs.
"I-Isabelle- please-... I'm scared-" Madison yelled out, dragging herself forward toward her. She didn't have much time to keep crawling, as the piece she was gripping on to broke off from the rest of the bridge. She screamed, tumbling off toward the edge where the water was disappearing, revealing the expanse of galaxy beneath.
She just kept on falling, though her descent began to slow down as she fell beneath the arena and took her final breath. All she could do was stare up at Isabelle, safely holding the statue, as her body began to disintegrate to nothing. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

5Even if she could move, Madison was much too far to reach. She managed to take in a shaky, shallow, final breath. Her expression was blank.
"N-no.. you don't... N-no one.. does.." Madison managed to whisper. The rest of her body, including her prosthetics, disintegrated in to a small gray swirling pattern. It raced back up toward Isabelle, piercing right through the forcefield and in to the stone in the statue. The colors swirled even more, the gray fighting off the purple until eventually, only gray and blue remained. The whisking energy faded away until it was no longer glowing, and the forcefield with Isabelle inside disappeared with a flash of lightning. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru
