Raina walked away from the majority of everyone, just in case this thing exploded or something. The portal to Dominos was still open, so if he died.. Well. People could go through there. He sat cross legged in a puddle, and held the stones in his lap. Electricity surged through the pieces, building and making the pieces shake... Slowly, they began to move back together, until they formed a whole orb with no cracks left in it. Raina took in a deep breath and tossed it in the air, shooting his hand forward and sending a giant bolt of lightning down on to the crystal orb as it was still in the air.. Instantly, Moses' body was raidly reforming in crystal around the orb, and once he had been rebuilt by his powers, he would make another transformation back in to his usual form.. Uh, minus any clothes, so Raina kept a close eye on him and summoned in a robe to put on as soon as he gained flesh again. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

First it was dark.. then everything all at once. Moses reappeared just like he was before—Mostly well and old. The robe did a good job covering any old scars. He laid flat on the ground as his consciousness returned and a small groan escaped his lips. "Where..? What..?" Moses blinked, his eyes squinting as light filled his vision. The events that had happened before then played in his mind. He was falling. Dying. Was Connie okay? Where was he now? The man sat up, frantically looking around until he saw Raina. He looked almost exactly like Rakin, and Moses stumbled back up into a fighting position. "You-!" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Raina was exhausted- even after bringing back only one person. He held his hands out in front of himself, shaking slightly with exertion. He made no move to defend himself if Moses were to attack. "Welcome back. You are safe now, Rakin has been defeated. We are all going to go home soon. I have just revived you." Raina tried to explain in quick succession. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Wh—Defeated? How-" Moses finally took that moment to look around more thoroughly. The remains of a battle were evident, as by the slump bodies and tired expression on most of the faces around him. He saw someone holding Rakin, so this person wasn't him... This was so strange. And overwhelming. "I died," Moses commented, his eyes widening in realization. "I fucking died. And now I'm back... Oh god." He rested his face in his hand for a moment, taking in a few deep, but shaky breaths. "Is everyone alright..? No one died during the battle, did they?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Yes, you did die, take all the time to you need to process. You may want to sit down." Raina said calmly. "And everyone survived the final fight, besides someone who was standing with Rakin. He was dressed like a red eyed tree frog... But besides him, everyone is fine. The amphibs here had to be knocked out because the stones of your powers were placed inside of them, and to bring you back, I needed those pieces.. Yours were in the axolotl. I managed to recover all of them from the others as well, I hope." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses didn't sit down. Instead, he started to pace a little. There was a new sense of adrenaline running through his body, and sitting down was the last thing on his mind. Moses' head snapped back to Raina as he heard the word axolotl. "Oh my god. Agustin. Where—Where are the Amphibs? They're alive, right?" "They're around. They are just unconscious since they were being controlled by Rakin to attack everyone else.." Raina sighed. "It should be safe to wake them up now, if you are worried about them." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses was worried about them. Well, at least about Agustin. Spotting the familiar purple of Agustin's clothes, Moses made a dash towards the man. Bye bye, Raina. "Agustin!" He called out, kneeling down and looking over the axolotl. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustin had definitely looked better. His clothes had large, bloody tears over two places in both arms, legs, his torso, and his back. There were only faint scars left of what had happened, but from all the blood and damage to his clothes, it was clear something much more serious had happened. He was lying fact down on the muddy ground, entirely unresponsive. He also had a few more injuries from the fight, such as some lightning scars and some stab wounds on his sides.. "Jesus christ. What did they do to you..?" Moses quickly got to moving Agustin, rolling him over so he was face up. "Agustin?" He repeated and wiped off any mud or dirt on his face with the sleeve of his robe. "Hey, buddy, it's me. C'mon, wake up." Moses put his fingers up to Agustin's neck, searching for a pulse. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Yeah, his face was pretty caked with mud. And he had no reaction to being flipped around. His pulse was there though. Just incredibly weak. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses sighed in relief has he felt Agustin's pulse. Good. He was hanging on still. "Hey, you! Frog guy! Can you heal these guys too?" He shouted back at Raina. If he could bring back the dead, then Raina could heal the living too, right? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Raina hurried over to Moses' side once had had been requested. "I can heal, yes." Raina nodded and sat down next to Moses on his knees. "I am not sure if he will be aware of where he is, or if its possible that he's still under Rakin's command, so I would ask that you try to hold him steady while I heal him." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses nodded and held down the hand closest to Raina. If Agustin tried to get up, at least his attention would focus on attacking him rather than the frog guy. "Okay, please hurry. And make sure you get to the other Amphibs too. They're all in pretty rough shape it seems." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I will heal them as soon as I can get everyone brought back to life.. That is more pressing. I don't think anyone here is fatally wounded." Raina said and held his hands over Agustin's new wounds. With a slight green glow, the wounds began to close up. As they did, Agustin's eyes squeezed closed even tighter and he grunted slightly. He tried to move away from Raina and Moses, but when he felt his hand being pinned, his eyes shot open. Rakin. and Moses. Sitting over him. "No no no n-no-" Agustin whimpered and squeezed his eyes shut again. "P-please- please leave me a-alone.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Well, Moses supposed bringing everyone back was more important at the moment. He sighed a little before refocusing his attention to Agustin. Though, the axolotl's response made him raise a brow in worry. "Agustin..? Hey, Agustin. It's just me. It's okay. Rakin isn't going to hurt any of us anymore. It's over," Moses gently reassured him and let go of his hand. "Do you feel any pain still? This other guy who's not Rakin healed you." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Unfortunately for Moses, not a single thing he said was as reassuring to Agustin as he intended it to be. Agustin snapped his hand away from where Moses had previously pinned it, and held both hands over his chest as he rolled over to his side, his breathing steadily increasing until it sounded like he was nearly going to hyperventilate. "Pl-please- I don't- I don't w-want to hurt any-anyone else-.." Agustin had to pause so he could try to control his breathing. No success. "... I probably remind him too much of Rakin. I should go." Moses gave Raina a quick nod, but quickly gave Agustin his full attention. "Hey, hey.. No, no one's going to hurt anyone, Agustin, I promise. It's just me, Agustin—Moses. You know me," he frowned. "Take some deep breaths. It's going to be okay. You're okay." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Raina quickly shuffled off. Awkward. "NO!" Agustin suddenly yelled out between breaths, curling in tighter on himself. "Y-you're not- you're not real- you're d-d-dead! St-stop trying to tr-trick me, please! I-I'm not falling for it a-anymore!" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Needless to say, Moses was confused. Trick him? Not real? What? Moses' expression was a mix of concern and confusion, but a bit of anger slowly made it's way in too. Moses suddenly grabbed Agustin's shoulders and forced the man to look at him. "Agustin! Get a hold of yourself! I'm not some fake or whatever the hell you're talking about! Look at me!" For the brief moment that Agustin opened his eyes, he just looked terrified. Tears were flowing down his cheeks and he quickly moved his hands up to cover his face so Moses couldn't make him look at him. The fake Moses had never got mad, which Agustin found odd, but.. This one did. This was more of what he expected from the short man. But he wasn't so quick to trust. This was still impossible. He just whimpered under his hands pathetically. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Seriously, what's going on? I thought maybe you would be more relieved to see me alive, but you're out here saying some shit I don't understand!" Moses continued to huff in frustration. "It's me, you idiot. Stop hiding," he said and probed one of Agustin's hands away from his face. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

.. Agustín had closed his eyes under his hands. Hm. "Y-you- you held me d-down while they tortured m-me!" Agustín finally blurted out. "A-and you just- just- kept talking to me! Like I was g-going to be okay! Th-they were cutting me open!" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses didn't let Agustin's hand go this time, but his hold did loosen as he listened. It took Moses a few seconds to start understanding the full picture. His anger didn't disappear, but rather, redirected towards someone else. "...That wasn't me, Agustin," Moses quietly seethe through his teeth. "I would never let anything like that happen to you. That wasn't the real me, like you said—but I'm back now, Agustin. Please..." Moses' grip weakened and he gently put Agustin's hand down. "Just. Just look at me. ... slowly, Agustín cracked one of eyes open. He still looked just as scared. ".. h-how. How are you back then? Y-you died. I saw it. I watched it. I-i- I called Viktor and t-told him you were dead- I called a different version of you in an attempt to t-talk to you.. but you were g-gone.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses reached up to his own face and he sighed into his hand. "I honestly don't know. One second I was gone, then the next, I'm suddenly here. It was that Not-Rakin guy who did it. I think he must be the Raina Zahara knows," he slowly pieced together. Listening to how Agustin went out of his way to contact his son, and even another him was quite strange. "You.. talked to Viktor? And.. a different me? I mean, my son, I understand.. but why did you call me for?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

The reason Agustín had told himself was that he wanted to warn Moses, or let him know to spend more time with Viktor, but.. he knew that wasn't a very logical thing. ".. I-i.. I missed you.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"You missed me?" Moses repeated with a slightly surprised look. He looked down at Agustin for a moment, then let out a small sigh. "Well, I guess I missed you too, you big goof," he lightly chuckled. Moses offered Agustin a hand and gestured for him to stand. "That Raina guy healed a good portion of your wounds. We can finally go home, Agustin. Agustin smiled the tiniest bit. This had to be the real him. It had to be. He gently grabbed Moses' hand. "Wh-what all happened here? Wait- Kian- h-have you seen him? H-he was so injured and he looked years older- d-do you know how long we've been here?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses helped Agustin stand, taking a bit longer than usual since his normal strength wasn't all there just yet. "Kian..? I'm not sure," Moses replied with a shake of his head. It's not like he even knew what the kid looked like in the first place. "I just got back, so.. I don't know how long we've been here either. There was a big fight just now, from what I heard, so maybe he's tending to his wounds. Raina said no one died, if that eases your mind." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustin also seemed weaker than usual, so he had to lean against Moses to keep standing. "Th-that's- that's good.. I-I felt so confused when I was being controlled I hardly k-kept up with what was happening." Agustin coughed a bit. "B-but we can go home.. D-did someone get the compass out o-of Rakin?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses kept one arm wrapped around Agustin's back to help keep him steady, his hand gently grasping what was left of Agustin's shirt. He gave Agustin a concerned look before glancing around the area once more. "Take it easy... but I don't think they have yet. It looks like Rakin is still being interrogated by some of the other contestants," he hummed. "...What you said just now, about being controlled.. What did they do to you, Agustin? How was there another me?" Moses asked and his grip on Agustin became a bit tighter. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Interrogated is one work for that. ".. I-I think- I think Bridge made a- hologram o-or something.. It looked and f-felt so real- just like you.. B-but it didn't exactly act like you." Agustin said quietly. ".. Y-you would've stopped them.. Y-you wouldn't have given u-up like I did.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

As he listened, Moses' expression seemed to stiffen. They made a fake him? And used that against Agustin? Moses' hand shook for a moment, before he took in a deep breath and looked back up at Agustin. "I'm sorry you went through that, Agustin. I.. And I'm sorry I left you alone. I won't do that again," he promised with an earnest expression. "I'm so happy to see you're alive." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustin was leaned over with his head resting on Moses' shoulder, half hiding his face away. .. He wouldn't leave him? He'd have to to go home- it didn't feel super likely they were in the same universe.. And even if they were somehow, it's not like Moses lived in Mexico. If Manuel was still alive, Agustin couldn't just up and move either.. He didn't want to worry about that right now. "I-I'm happy to see you. Viktor s-said he'd kick my ass i-if I didn't get y-you back home. He was also surprised to h-hear you had a friend..." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses let out a small laugh at that and he smiled a bit more fondly. "Sounds like my kid. Sorry about him. He gets it from his old man," he mused. "Though, he didn't have to go and blast my whole life story to ya. I hope he didn't say more embarrassing things," Moses sighed with a slightly flustered expression. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"N-no, not much else.. Just that you always keep your promises." Agustin let that linger for a moment. ".. I-i told him your last words were that you loved him.. I-i thought that might help him feel better." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses seemed to grow a bit more embarrassed by that and he hid the lower half of his face with his hand. "I see.." He commented. For that brief moment of silence, Moses seemed to think about something before being taken out of his thoughts by Agustin once more. "Really..? I appreciate it, Agustin. Viktor may seem a bit tough, but he's a pretty emotional kid. There wasn't much time for me to say or do anything towards the end..." He frowned. "Did Connie ever deliver to you what I asked?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Probably best not to say he was rooting against the kid that entire fight. ".. N-no I- I hadn't met her until this fight.. A-and we weren't exactly fighting on the same side.." Agustin sighed. He weakly moved his arm up to point over at her, sitting next to Aldreda in the mud. "Sh-she's over there now. But I-I don't think she'll want to talk to me." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses followed Agustin's gesture, making note that Connie seemed okay. Good, good... he was glad she could still smile despite everything that had happened. "I see.. well, that's fine. My last words weren't anything dramatic or anything. I just hope she managed to give Maki my tags.." Moses hummed. "Speaking of which, has Maki shown up around here? I don't really see them anywhere.." He slightly frowned. Moses hoped they were okay. He didn't know how well Maki would of taken his death. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. I-I could hear everything that y-you said during the fight. It was put up into the stands.." Agustin mumbled. Then Rakin repeated it really loud after too. "I-I don't know, I never met th-them either. Th-the other people might know more about what happened, u-us amphibs were.. Out of the picture until th-they got here." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Huh. Moses supposed that made sense. Though, a wave of irritation sparked in Moses' face hearing Rakin put that on blast. Nothing could be meaningful to that guy, huh? "I see... I'll go looking for them soon. I want to make sure you're good to go before then," Moses replied and turned to look at Agustin again. "God.. you look like a real mess," he teased with a light chuckle and tucked some of Agustin's loose greasy hair behind his ear. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Yeah, now the grease was caked with mud and.. some weird blue stuff. Not to mention most of his body was covered in crusty blood now. "I-I- yeah- I think I need a sh-shower.." Agustin laughed just a little. "And to sleep in my bed for t-ten years- after I get treated I-I guess.. Eugh, I'll have to be an axolotl for a while.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses smiled a bit fondly at Agustin before nodding. "Maybe two showers for good measure. And look on the bright side. You get to be in that cute little form of yours knowing you won't be sick anymore afterwards," Moses chuckled. "Do you need someone to come feed you during then? I can do it for ya. Agustín's cheeks darkened slightly as Moses called his other form cute, and fully hid his face away in his shoulder. "I don't know how you'd get to my house easily.." Agustín sighed. "But they mostly eat fish and aquatic bugs." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses just chuckled when he saw Agustin hide away. He figured the other man was still embarrassed about his much smaller form. "Mm, I'll make it work somehow. Or maybe you can just stick with me? It can't be that hard to make a medicine bath, can it?" He hummed. "Fish and bugs, got it. I'll make sure you get the best ones." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I have to get home and see if my dad is still alive, and if he is, stay with him somehow.. and if he's not, work all that mess out.. I-i don't think I can just up and move to you." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

"Ah.. I suppose you're right. Damn, that makes things a bit difficult then.." Moses hummed. "I guess we can figure out all of that later then. I'm sure there's a way we can make it work for both of us," he shrugged with a slanted smile. "But maybe later on, we can hang just in a normal context and not.. yknow, a death space tournament." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"O-once everything is settled it'll be easier to travel back and forth with the compass. I just- don't know how much work it'll be regardless of what's up with my dad.." Agustín sighed. ".. Moses gave Agustin a small reassuring squeeze. "It's going to be okay. Hopefully you can get back to your father and at least be there for anything he may need," Moses replied. He then smiled, chuckling a little. "What are you talking about? You took a pretty big nap right before I was taken into my fight," he teased. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustín didn't have the energy to squeeze him back, or maybe slap him away, so he just hid his face even more. "W-well I mean a nap where I'm not worried about you dying or- or something-" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

He playfully rolled his eyes and patted Agustin's back. "I know. I was being sarcastic," Moses chuckled. He looked over Agustin for a moment, his head rushing with thoughts once again. Being dead then coming back to life will do that to ya, after all. Moses slowly rested his head against Agustin's and gave him a small nudge. "Hey. "Until you can stop embarrassing me." Agustín chuckled, and snuck just a little peek out. "A-and- and maybe close up your robe a bit more." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses raised an eyebrow at that and looked down at himself. Sure enough, his robe was pretty loose on his shoulders, only held together in front with a small knot. "Well, the embarrassing part is impossible, but what's wrong with my robe?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"It looks like it's gonna fall off." Agustín said. "I'd let you borrow my jacket, but I think at this point I'm showing more skin than you." .. yeah. His clothes look like they had been put through a shredder. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

He made a face and adjusted his robe so it at least felt a bit more comfortable. "What, can't handle me showing off a little?" Moses teased with a joking smile. "I don't think I'll be getting any better clothes until I get back home. I feel like I'm wearing a hospital gown." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"I can handle it-" Agustín cleared his throat. ".. anyway. Are all your powers back now?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses' expression scrunched for a moment at Agustin's comment and his cheeks turned a little pink. He then awkwardly looked away and shrugged, dismissing whatever he felt just now. "Uh.. I think so?" Moses replied and he held his hand up towards his chest. Sure enough, a few crystals sprouted from Moses' palm. "It's good to have them back." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustín looked over at the crystal shards. He held his own hand out next to Moses', and nothing happened. "G-good. I don't have any left either." Agustín let out a breath of relief. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses blinked as Agustin held his hand out next to his. "..What do you mean by that?" He asked, a small frown forming on his lips. Raina did mention something about the rocks holding everyone's power being put into the Amphibs. "They... put my powers into you??" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustín glanced away, placing his hand back at his side. ".. y-yeah.. They- y-yeah.." He mumbled. "A-and then they.. made me u-use my powers to help them do the same t-to everyone else.. I'm sure they all hate me.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

If there was a way for Moses to be even angrier at Rakin, this would be the reason. The crystals in Moses' hand cracked and he forced them to crumble to dust. His wrapped arm around Agustin tightened protectively as he frowned. "You were under their control. I'm sure the rest of the Amphibs understand that you didn't do it because you wanted to," Moses quietly reassured him. His hand seemed to shake and he balled it into a fist, forcing himself to cap his rage. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. b-but I wasn't under their control a-at that time.. I was just- just scared.. a-and that fake you kept talking to me.." Agustín mumbled. He moved his head off of Moses' shoulder and glanced around at the amphibs who were scattered around on the ground, besides Itsuki, who was seemingly happily with his husband. "I-i should.. try to heal them up." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses' brows scrunched for a moment, trying to make sense of Agustin's reply and piece it together with everything else he knew. They used a fake him to sway Agustin into complying... That made Moses feel ill. He wasn't sure if that was better than Agustin just being controlled. "Yeah.. you should do that," Moses nodded, glancing at the other sprawled Amphibs. "..The fake me, what did he say to you?" He asked before Agustin moved on. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Agustín had already started to step toward Zahara when Moses asked his question. "Um.. he.. h-he just kept telling me that everything was okay, and.. I-i was doing good.. he was nice.. t-too nice." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses wasn't sure how to exactly take that. Imagining Agustin be swayed by a fake him who simply encouraged him, seemingly swooning, only made that sickening feeling worse. He turned his head away and his lips formed a thin line. "I see.." Was all Moses said. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

".. I know. It's.. pathetic. B-but Rakin and Bridge.. I knew they'd hurt me even more if I didn't listen. It was easier t-to just.. Not protest.." @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

It was difficult for Moses to find the words to describe what he was feeling. It was a mix of anger, confusion, and perhaps guilt. Maybe even a sense of pity for Agustin. Moses didn't think what Agustin did was wrong, per say, but it didn't sit well in his stomach either. What exactly didn't sit well, Moses didn't think it was any less pathetic to voice. "I know it was either obeying or dying... You don't have to justify it to me, Agustin," Moses carefully said. "Go and heal everyone else. I'll wait here for you." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

.. it still didn't feel alright to Agustín. He wordlessly walked off to Zahara and began healing her. His healing powers were gone now, but he still had his blood powers, so he tried his best to work with just that. Once Zahara began walking up, he left, off to the next amphib. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses watched out of the corner of his eye as Agustin healed the Amphibs. He was glad all of them were still alive. They could return to their families and their lives. He created a small stool of crystals for himself, stumbling to sit, but relaxed as he finally rested. God, his body felt heavy. True to his word, he waited for Agustin right where he was. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

It took some time, but Agustín eventually came back as well. He looked even more tired now, and stumbled down to a sitting position as well a few feet away from Moses. He didn't currently know what to say that wouldn't feel incredibly awkward. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Moses let the awkward air sit between them for a while, taking that time to seriously think over everything. The past couple of days weren't long at all, yet it felt like a lifetime of information. There were plenty of questions he still had, and even more afterwards, but perhaps it would do Moses some good to leave it all here. He slowly turned to look at Agustin, a neutral expression resting on his features. Right, the compass. That's how Rakin found everyone in the first place. Moses glanced over to where the group still holding Rakin was and hummed. "I hope they don't kill him before we get the compass back..." He commented. "Maybe there's someone here who has some sort of power to recreate the compasses? Kian had moved away from everyone to calm himself down. Roots and vines continued to grow and follow behind him, as if they could somehow soothe him. An array of flowers bloomed in his hair, now longer, could be filled even more. Red, blue, even a bit of purple took root on his head. He attempted to pull them out, but to no avail. It was only after his frustration with the roses did he take notice of everyone around him again. Kian forgot all about his anger as he saw Agustin up and moving. "U-Uncle Agustin!" Well, he was up and sitting.. but better than looking dead on the ground. He was somewhat lost in thought as Kian approached, and he didn't even notice him until he spoke up. "Kian! Kian stopped in front of Agustin, dropping to a knee to look over his uncle. "Y-You're okay..?" He asked with an unsure look. Agustin honestly looked awful, but if it was comparing him to being keeled over on the floor, Kian supposed this was better. "Oh.. Uh," Kian looked down at himself, a frown twisting on his lips. "You were not gone for very long at all.. Right after you were taken, Mr. Sovran and I.. We.. Our fight happened. They were about at eye level now that Kian had crouched down. "O-oh no, your fight.. I'm sorry I couldn't be there.." Agustin frowned. Kian shook his head and he looked back up at his uncle. Even at the same height, Kian was used to staring up to look at Agustin. "Y-You.. It was better you didn't see it, Uncle Agustin.." Kian commented, a look of guilt and shame crossing his gaze. A slight pang rang in his chest thinking about Sovran, but Kian willed that feeling away. "I am planning to go back to my world and find Asra... I'm going to travel with her and Cansu for a while. I—I don't know what we're going to do, really.. but.." The young man allowed his gaze to travel towards the small grouped family. "...I don't really have a 'place' anymore, Uncle Agustin. ... Assuredly most of that damage on Sovran came from Kian himself. ".. Don't blame yourself for what happened to Sovran, it was life or death. You did what you had to to win.." Agustín could only guess he had won since he was in slightly better shape than Sovran had been in.. And that they had to bring Sovran back from the void. "That sounds like a good plan for you, to travel with Asra and Cansu.. They'll look out for you." Agustín nodded. "But while you're recovering.. You're free to stay with me, my dad would never say no to you- if he's still around. Regardless, I need to take that medical bath, and I'd need someone to watch out for me too, and maybe dad.. Whatever Agustin had to say about the fight, it wouldn't make Kian feel any better. Nothing would, really. His hands balled, shaking before Kian forced himself to relax. Most of the roses on his head turned bright red. "..Yeah," Kian mustered, squashing whatever else was dancing on his tongue. Further listening to Agustin, the red roses faded and returned to a neutral white color. "As much as I would like to help you, uncle Agustin.. we're from two completely different timelines. Kian couldn't help but chuckle a little. It was always so interesting to see his uncle actually express a variety of emotion. I want to make sure you enjoy yourself for once. I'm.. sort of relieved it's someone like Sir Lor as your first friend though. ... This felt so demeaning. Even though Kian had spontaneously aged in the few hours Agustín had been away, he still saw him as a kid. Specifically, that kid asking to eat the oranges from the orange tree that died before it fruited. That tree was still out there, rotting away, maybe with some pruning it could get brought back to life.. But it would still then be so many years before that fruit came in. "Maybe so-" Agustín said, and suddenly reached out to him. He ruffled his hair up over his face. "And you can get a haircut and some clothes that fit. What would your parents think? .. That was probably the one good thing that had come out of Kian's battle. Who knows how long it would have taken him to grasp any of his powers if he was just left to age on his own... He paused at Agustin's question. During his fight, Kian was still acting mostly on instinct. It had all happened so fast... One moment there was nothing, then there was everything. Kian looked down to his newly formed hand and sighed. "No, I don't think so. It.. when my powers came back, it was like a switch had occurred. I felt power surge through me in circulation, rather than just from one place. I can still feel some powers are stuck, while the others are now free to roam," he explained. This was a new feeling to Kian though, so even he wasn't sure if that was the correct way to describe what he was feeling. He moved his foot a little, sprouting a large root, a sharp spike of metal, and a small line of fire behind him. "These are the powers I feel most familiar with.. The question made Kian feel a little uneasy. Not because he wouldn't be able to, but because he could feel the exact opposite. He would be able to in due time. It was an unsettling feeling. Kian never thought that learning how to use his powers would be a scarier feeling that not knowing how to use them at all. "...Most likely, yes," Kian answered with a slow nod. "It's.. hard to describe. My powers were at a standstill for such a long time, like they were locked away from me... He pointed it over at Kian sitting next to him, and the pointer spun from the home icon to a different icon. "Good- I'm guessing that Rakin could only take people from these few universes listed so.. This should be able to get everyone home." Agustin stood up and pointed the compass around to a few different people, and it always spun to face one of the existing icons.
