On the bottom of the area, there was a giant frozen over stream. The ice was thick enough to walk on everywhere, except for the area too close to the #bonfire. The stars above reflected beautifully off of the cool ice, and made the large salmon and trout shimmer somewhat under the surface. There were plenty of fish to eat in this stream, if you could get through the thick ice. The water began and ended at the stone walls, so you would not be able to swim out through some water duct, sadly. Also, toward the center right side of the stream was a giant glowing rainbow rock. It radiated heat gently, but not enough to affect the ice a number of feet above it.

With a ZAP of lightning, Lykos, Kian, Taylor, and Andre appeared on sporadic places across the ice stream. The ice stayed solid beneath them. They were dressed in winter clothes surprisingly to their style, besides Lykos. Taylor stumbled, barely processing the change in scenery before he caught himself from slipping on the ice. The boots he now wear at least better fit for the slick environment. He swung his head up. Red eyes wide as he spun around seeing the snow and ice covered lands around him. The chilly air the one thing keeping him from dissociation again from the stress. (edited)

Andre let out a soft groaned and pushed himself up to his knees. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and blinked as he looked around. Where on earth...? God was he so confused. For a few seconds, Andre's eyes widened. Snow? Snow! Andre quickly got to his feet and slid a bit on the ice before he turned around to see a group. Oh? Other people? "Er, howdy," He greeted. "Any of y'all know where we are..?"

Lykos woke with a start, paws scrabbling on the ice for purchase. They found their footing, looking around frantic. Where the hell was that thing that brought them here? Their heart was pounding with a fear they haven’t felt in a long time. Their ears picked up voices, whipping their head towards the origin, growling. More people. Wonderful. The wolf prepared themself for an attack, immediately distrustful of the people around them. (edited)

Kian let out a grunt as he hit the hard ice. Despite being in nothing but sandels and a tunic before, he was fitted back in his thick princely attire. He groaned and pushed himself up, scanning the others around himself. He didn't recognize any of them, but he assumed they were taken just like he was.

"Wait... Poppy? Poppy!" He spins on his heel looking around him once again to see where his small companion was. "Poppy! This isn't time to hide where are yo- wah!" Something started to crawl up the front of his coat from the inside. Making him shuffle around before unzipping it enough to reveal the rabbit plush. Making him sigh in relief. "Oh thank goodness, don't scare me like that again. We have other people around us now..."

Andre watched Taylor curiously before he rose a eyebrow. He looked at the others and stared at them for a moment before he smiled a bit. "Er, howdy." He greeted. "Any of y'all know where we are? I don't know recognize this place and...I reckin' you don't either..." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺 @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge @Barry | Taylor + Kevin

Lykos growled low. None of these humans were attacking them yet, but it wouldn’t be long before they did. They turned away from the group and ran, off of the ice and towards the fire. Even this chill was getting to them.

Kian watched as the wolf(?) ran off. He wouldn't want to fight it if it got aggressive... He turned to the tall blonde man and nodded slowly. "Yeah, no.. I don't know where we are.. but I have a hunch as to how we got here," Kian sighed with a small frown. "I'm Kian von.. Actually, just call me Kian," he managed to stop himself from saying his mouthful of a name. He was still accustomed to giving out his entire title, even after all these years. "Oh I um- I'm sorry uh." He stumbled. Poppy crawling out of the winter coat and making herself comfortable in its hood. "I'm Taylor. Jacquard. And this is Poppy! S-she's harmless I promise." She gives a wave before snuggling back into the hood. @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

"Andre Kupfer." He grinned. "Pleasure to meet you." He said happily. Andre watched the wolf run off before he kinda shrugged it off. Well alright then. "Now don' apologize." He told Taylor. "You got a neat lil friend over there." He waved back to Poppy. @Barry | Taylor + Kevin @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

Kian gave Poppy a curious look as he saw her move, intrigued by how the creature was doing so. Of course, he caught himself staring, so Kian quickly regain himself and focused on the issue at hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Andre, Mr. Taylor, and Miss Poppy. I hope you're all safe and sound.. Uhm.. Did you guys get to talk to Rakin..? "Er. Thank you." He gives a soft smile and nod to Andre. It was refreshing after his first time waking up in captivity having people that weren't like the man. Glancing over at Kian as be felt the eyes on them. Though he said nothing, it was the usual sort of reaction though of kids and their older siblings wondering about those like Poppy. Nothing like how Rakin looked at him like he was- Though he couldn't hide the flinch when he heard Rakin's name. "... nothing good." "That weird fella?" Andre asked with a tilt of his head. "He did mention something about a death tournament...which gave me the creeps..." Andre shuddered. "Ya see, I ain't a fighter...aside from that...? Er...well, not all much if I'm bein honest. I tried to help em since he seemed injured but it didn't rally work out..." Andre laughed sheepishly. Kian nodded as he listened to the older men, taking in the information with a frown. "Ah, apologies, Mr. Andre, it's just habit. I.. also feel rather rude not to address you as such. My mother would be quite upset with me if she found out I wasn't addressing my elders correctly," he laughed faintly. Though, his laugh quickly faded, just as his smile did. "Rakin brought us from different places together to fight and make chaos for their superior.. something about bringing back a 'superior species'.. I'm not sure, but.. they threatened to let us die if we don't participate.. it's awful," Kian huffed. "Please, whatever and wherever we are.. Don't trust that man. He's dangerous. "I agree." Taylor nods. Shoulders however still tensed as he thought of his own conversation with the man of the hour. "Though right now I believe it would be best for you- us to go find somewhere to warm up. Andre only laughed in response as well."No problem. If you feel more comfortable than go ahead." He nodded his headed. Then he frowned and let out a sigh, "Most definitely....I don't rally' wanna die, aha," Andre glanced around the area before he began to walk. "Come on y'all. Let's head out together. Like Taylor said, bein' out in this weather ain't good for y'all." @Barry | Taylor + Kevin @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge

The wind wisped around Kian's hair as Taylor mentioned the cold. Ah, right. They would probably freeze if they didn't get to warmth soon. The three didn't seem dangerous, and were at least sociable... Kian didn't mind sticking with them for now. The boy gave them a nod and started after Andre. "I hope we run into natives or something around here. They usually have shelter we could stay in for a bit. If not.. our next best bet if this place is uninhabited is a cave," Kian commented as they trudged through the snow. "Unless you count my sewing skills a super power, I don't really have anything meant to hurt anyone. Just letting some dolls move around and that." He laughs nervously, quickly wanting to change the subject. "What about you, Kian?" @Aj | Kian+Moses+Bridge @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

With a ZAP of lightning, Sebbie appeared in the area... He was dressed in some winter clothes surprisingly to his style. He also had his bass appear next to him... But notably that bitch Rakin took his weed. @JP • Sebbie ⚠

"Heh? Eh?" Seb patted himself and his new winter fashion down in confusion before realizing his bass was next to him. Before he had the chance to celebrate, he realized his weed was gone. "SON OF A BITCH—!" he yelled at the sky.

As Seb yelled to the sky someone stepped into view. It was Andre! He frowned at the screaming before he walked over to him. "Eh?" He asked. "A-are you alright-?" He called out. @JP • Sebbie ⚠

Seb crumpled to the snowy ground, clinging onto his instrument's case before letting out a drawn out cry. "Hhhhhhhhhh—" Yes, that was the response to the stranger's question. "I have my bass with me but the aliens took my doobs and my clothes and gave me these instead..." He mumbled into the sleeves of his jackets, sounding like an absolute madman. "It's cold n' uncomfy n' I wanna go homeeeee—" @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Andre walked over to where Seb was before he bent down slightly and offered a smile. "Now, now let's take a deep breath shall we?" He said. "There's a nearby place where we can head inside if ya want. I'm Andre, and you are?" Andre wasn't sure what doobs were but....he'll figure it out later on. Hopefully. @JP • Sebbie ⚠

Sebbie peeked out from his sleeve and sniffed, trying to stop his nose from running. "Okay.." he gave a nod in agreement. "I'm Sebbie. Seb's okay too.." Already this Andre person was far nicer than the majority of people Seb was used to. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Andre offered his hand to Sebbie as he stood up. "Seb. Seb is a fun nickname!" He laughed softly. "Ya said you were cold? Do ya need an extra jacket?" He asked. "I can lend you mine if you need." Andre had a very thick jacket with a super fluffy hood. Soft. @JP • Sebbie ⚠

"N-no, you keep your jacket on. I'm used to the cold. I just don't like it." Sebbie waved a hand in dismissal as he unfolded himself and rose to his full height. As nice as Andre's offer was, he was still skeptical and paranoid. As he hoisted his instrument's case over his shoulder, he couldn't help but ask. "Andre, was it? "Hm." Andre gave a small hum in approval before he glanced towards the buildings in the distance. "Yeah. I ran into a few others...one name Kian and one named Taylor." He grinned. "And there were some others in the building but I haven't properly met em'..." @JP • Sebbie ⚠

"Ah." Seb nodded in understanding. "I see..well. I guess I better follow you then.. How long ago did you get here?" @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

"About an hour, I thank." Andre shrugged with a laugh as he headed on ahead. "The guy that brought us here is mighty strange if ya ask me...I ain't a fighter by any means...I'm more of a farmer, actually..."

"Very strange..." Seb emphasized additionally as he followed Andre at a trudging pace. "And I'm with ya on the fighter part. I actually got abducted just after playing at a bar. That's why I have this.." He thumped his hand against the case of his bass. "I literally had to bargain with him to give it back to me but it wasn't free..." "Ah. Mighty nice case you got there. Guitar?" He asked curiously. "Or bass? I know a lil bit of the acoustic guitar myself but I ain't really any good." Andre rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I was pickin out some cheese.." Andre shook his head. "Not much is grown in tha winter...I do hope there is a greenhouse or somethin we can use..." He frowned slightly. "Hmmm....I dunno think there's any chickens but I can try for waffles?" Andre grinned. "I always like my ma's bacon and eggs in the morning.." "The place isn't that far ahead," Andre pointed forward. "Well, I'm technically in two but I'm not committed to either or." He explained. "My ex-weed dealer's band is called Organ Stirfry. His ex-girlfriend's band is called Heartache Brigade. I mostly do it to pay my friend for letting me sleep on their couch." @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

"Oh wow!" He gasped. "Two? That's still pretty cool, ya know." He let out a small hum. "What type of music do ya do? Would that be the correct way to ask....errr...ehe." He laughed a bit. "Just up ahead." He walked to the entrance of #barracks-back. "This is the shelter place." @JP • Sebbie ⚠

Andre nodded along. "Stay warm, Seb! I'm tryin' ta' find more people if they need any help..." He looked around the area, lifting his hat up slightly. Seb gave a thumbs up. "I'll give you updates if anything happens on my end. I might go exploring a bit to the nearby stuff once I get situated." He elaborated before changing his hand's gesture to your classic 'rock on' one he was so used to giving people. "You stay warm too." @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

"Yep." Andre nodded. For a few seconds Andre seemed to think about what to do next before he copied Seb and also gave the classic 'rock on' hand signal before he headed off with a wave. @JP • Sebbie ⚠

Back to the stream! Andre let out a small huff as he came back here. Man he was visiting this area a lot! He walked over towards the stream and lightly tapped the ice before he turned towards Ko. Angie appeared now next to Andre before she summoned a ball of fire in her palm. "Alright. Let's get some fish to fry." @Shae | Ko

Ko stepped onto the ice carefully. Assuring herself it was thick enough to walk on before continuing to follow Andre. “So far it tools like the fish are the best bet at food here,” Ko spoke, looking down at the fish before back up at her companions. “Be careful Miss Angie,” Ko bid, more out of habit then anything else. While she didn’t think ghost would be dragged down by gravity of the ice were to crack under her she wasn’t sure if being cursed into a necklace changed anything. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Angie looked over at Ko for a few seconds, studying her briefly. Then she turned back to the ice and bent down. "There's no need to refer to me as Miss, you know." She chuckled. "Andre does it out of formality." She put her palm to the ice now. Andre watched carefully before he turned to Ko. "You brought careful as well, Ko." He warned. "I don't want you falling in or anythan'." @Shae | Ko

“If you say, but it seems more respectful to add the Miss,” Ko admitted. “I will don’t worry,” she spoke toying with her charms out of habit in case she needed her mist to keep them out of the water. @Cap! | Maki🧿 + Andre🌾

Angie chuckled. "Andre says it because he's a stickler. You don't need to be formal with me, Doll. Though I suppose it's in your nature being a spiritual guide, yes?" Angie watched the ice, hoping it would at least melt a little bit now. "Now that ain't-" Andre pouted. "I just have to me formal with someone like you Miss Angie." He crossed his arms. “That’s correct. Calamity’s whole world just got turned on its head. First she was talking to Kiran, and being praised for her love of anarchy… …Then, she was above an arena, reveling in the misery of two people she didn’t know. Perhaps if she did, she’d be a bit more sympathetic, but she had been betting on the shorter one… …And now, she was somewhere cold, no Kiran in sight- no sand either. No palm trees, no sun, no storm weathered beach. So, the demon did what she’d gotten used to doing, and that was wander around, and well, most likely bide her time until the next fight. “Hey you!” Calamity called to a figure idling next to a frozen stream. “Yeah, you! The one dressed like an imp! Well, the only one dressed like an imp- the only person here really!” she rambled on as she approached. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"Eh?" Tsubari turned around to see a whole ass demon approaching. "You need something or-? @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Mm, not really,” Calamity shrugged. “I’m just… adjusting to my new reality, you know how it is. That was sure one hell of a fight, huh?” she playfully nudged Tsubari. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Tsubari seemed to buffer until Calamity nudged her. "So yours was one of the names they called at the end." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Calamity gasped and put a hand to her heart. “Oh! I’m flattered you know that! Soooooo I’m guessing you know my name as well? No pressure if you don’t know- it’s still a one-in-four chance!” her tail swished about enthusiastically. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Tsubari thought for a moment as she looked at the demon. "Calamity? That name seems to be the most fitting." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Tsubari was a bit pleasantly surprised to get it right. "My name's Tsubari. You're not human, are you?" @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Weeeell, it’s lovely to meet you, Tsubari! And once again you’re right! You’re pretty smart, you know- and yes, I’m not human. I’m the hottest demon in Hell!” Calamity stepped back to extend her wings to their full size before striking a pose. “Hmm, you look pretty human- minus your getup. Tsubari looked up in awe as her wings fully extended. She was... awfully tall. "A demon? I didn't know Hell was real... and I'm not human :c" There was the thing again with the horns. She was gettin real self conscious. "Um.. thanks." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Oh! My bad! Didn’t mean to make any assumptions,” Calamity hummed. “Hell is very much real! I’ve got my own special corner there and everything- with sinners to match!” she winked- why? who knows. “So yeah, I think the horns are pretty neat! We kinda match too!” @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"Sinners..." She wasn't entirely familiar with the concept. Religion was not her strong suit. "Does both of us having pink design elements qualify as matching? Or is it the horns?" Does it hurt Calamity's neck to look down at Tsub? @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Yep! Though recently they’ve gotten bored of my torturing, so when I return, I have a whole bunch of new ideas to spice everything up! ‘Torture maze’ is for sure going to be the first new addition,” she hummed, not quite explaining what exactly sinners were. “I’d say a mixture of both! That and you’ve got a good sense of style!” If the demon’s neck hurt, she said nothing about it. “So if you’re not human, what exactly are you?” @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

She kinda just stared blankly at Calamity as she spoke of torture. She was paying attention, but it all sounded undeciphrable to her. Not in her programming I suppose. "A lot of people have been asking me that. I don't really know the answer. All I know is that I am a Vtuber that has yet to debut." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Vtuber… that was a word that the demon was not familiar with. Sure she had access to the internet, but that was only when she was on the surface- which… wasn’t very often anymore. Though the people she’d talk to up there would surely have no idea what that was either. Unless… Tsubari was donning an outfit similar to hers- ‘similar’ being a reach- so maybe she could be an imp, or some being of chaos… Yes, yes, Tsubari was a Vtuber… a Villain…Tuber. Calamity had no idea what that even meant. But it was nefarious! The demon clasped her hands together in glee. “Why not debut now? Gotta love each moment to the fullest, right? "Can't exactly do that in space. I've lost my connection to Earth's wifi when I got got. Spaking of, how'd a demon get got?" She was mostly confused by Calamity's reaction. She definitely didn't know what we were talking about. Tsubari doesn't even know. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Awww my dear silly Tsubari, you don’t need wifi to be totally eeeeevil!” She extended her arms and did a little spin to further her point. She and Tsubari were definitely not on the same page. However, as soon as Tsubari mentioned the abduction, the demon’s face fell. “Weeeell, if you should know, I was in Hell, chilling and all of a sudden I was zapped away and chained up by a guy that wasn’t even enjoying it! Ugh, talk about a buzzkill, am I right? That’s the long answer though- short answer, apparently I’m seen as entertaining to that Alrai Pin, whatever that means.” Little did Alrai Pin know that she was also an anarchist- but that was just according to Kiran. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"Evil?" Oh, right. Demon. "You don't know what Vtuber means, do you?" She asked after listening to her story. "Also I thought Hell was supposed to be hot." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Calamity shrugged. “Well, your Tsubari- a Villian-Tuber yet to debut! You’re not a human, but some other secret thing. How’s that?” @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Villain-Tuber "Well... the first half is very incorrect, I think. The second I know is true." In all fairness Tsubari never had her "are we the baddies" moment. This is technically all true. "Even if you were correct, how am I supposed to debut evil?" @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

"Sure, but I don't even know what being evil means. I was only connected to earth wifi for a few years, and with that many opinions on what it is, I couldn't make any sense of it." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Well how I see it, being evil is…” Calamity thought about it for a moment. Then another. And yet, another. She stood there for a good while. “…I guess I can’t really explain it. It’s just like, programmed into my brain. It just… makes sense, I guess.” @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"Oh right... evil itself is an abstract concept. Generally people tend to label actions and people as evil, but it's entirely dependent on what they percieve as evil." "Well. Stealing mostly. Pulling knives on people, threatening them, picking their pockets when they weren't looking, and running from police." She counted them on her clawed fingers as if she was actually struggling to remember them all. "Atanasio said it was fine to do as long as I didn't get caught but moms said that was bad and that I shouldn't trust him." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Maybe this Atanasio was a Villian-Tuber… “Your friend has the right idea! All of those could definitely contribute to a spectacular debut! You see, I believe that acts like that should be done for a reason- I’m guessing you have one? Maybe two?” @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Riki had put the fish net into the stream soon after the fight, and stayed around the bonfire, thinking. Now he had checked the net, and pulled out a bunch of trouts. He was positively surprised, given this was Nora's first time making a fishing net, and his first time fishing with a net in a long while and alone. He grabbed the fish and the net, and dragged them towards the barracks.

Conveniently after Calamity's little uno group had dispersed, Rakin zapped in nearby. He seemed a bit shaky and he was holding on to his bandaged arm, glaring around the area. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

Calamity had left not too soon after, seeing that Tsubari and Atanasio had left, and well… Tsubari had clearly won. It wasn’t worth it to stay, especially when she couldn’t boast. With her Uno cards in hand, she meandered away from the stream… And towards… Rakin?! She eyed him curiously, making sure to sloooooowly tucking the cards back into her top. “How’s the arm?” she chirped, memories of the Julien and Andre fight filling her head once more. Really adds to your whole thing,” Calamity flashed Rakin a fanged grin. “You know, you have something that is miiiiiiiiine…” she drawled, seemingly not elaborating as she took a step closer. Most people towered over Rakin, since he didn't quite feel up to floating at the moment. That required some strength he didn't currently have. And Calamity once again closed the distance. “Oh! That’s funny you ask, because I know exactly what I will do to you now that I know where my cards are. I am going to tear you apart limb by limb, so very slowly to hear your muscles and tendons snap, while you’re still conscious and screaming, as I retrieve what’s left of my cards from the contents of your stomach. Rakin continued staring as she made her threat. When she ended it, he chuckled, working it in to a full on laugh. "You're nowhere near as creative as my master is with your torture. All you can imagine is physical pain. I am very far beyond that." @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

And Calamity started howling with laughter. “You’re real cute, you know that! Hah! Thinking that that’s the whole threat. I just needed to give you a quick taste of what you’d be feeling physically, but since you asked…” she twirled a pink curl around her finger. “…I’ll indulge you.” The demon opened up her wings to their full span, swallowing up Rakin’s form in her looming shadow. She was practically glowing as she lifted herself up a few feet, and fixed her cold gaze on the man below her. Oh, he was so below her. “Physical pain is a mercy. I will grant you some, but not all. You’re not all that gone, though dearie, you’re nothing but a husk of what you once were. I’m sure whatever it was, it was beautiful, but now all I see is a pathetic little worm, begging and pleading for power, though he knows he’s nothing but a leech. If I got my pretty hands on you, I’d exploit that.

Rakin's puny laugh was quickly overshadowed by Calamity's howling, and he went silent. His gaze followed her as she loomed above, oh so far above that she was out of reach. His expression showed no sign of worry, in fact, he was smiling as she went on. The more gruesome detail the gave, the more his little smirk grew and grew in to a toothy smile. He let her go on and on, never daring to look away or leave. He very well could have- I mean, he usually teleported away as soon as he felt like there were any signs of danger abound- but he chose to stay and soak this all in. Only once Calamity had finished her fantasizing did he act. A few sparks of lightning shot off of his bandaged arm, and he began to float up toward Calamity. He reached out that same arm and grabbed her around the neck, pulling her closer to him. "You have so many interesting things to say, demon. I know what you like, you revel in this. You don't do it begrudgingly, or because you are being forced to, or for any other reason than your own amusement. I find it detestable, just like how I feel about myself at the moment. You're right that I'm a husk of my former myself, if Raina saw me, he'd sooner throw himself out in to space than allow this to become of him. But that doesn't matter anymore. He doesn't matter anymore. He couldn't do what needed to be done, so he had to go. I'm not as pathetic or sentimental. I've abandoned my Earthly attachments in entirety, besides for my people. And I am doing this for them. You don't have any loyalties that matter, you wouldn't understand committing atrocities for a purpose." His grip tightened on her neck, fingers crackling with rapidly charging electricity. "But no matter how detestable I find you, I would never give you the pleasure of giving you my all." A tiny zap hit her- pathetic and akin to a static electricity on metal. Rakin removed his hand and floated back down to the ground, leaving his arms out to the side of him. If Calamity felt the zap from Rakin’s powers, she didn’t show it. Her grin grew wider with every word he muttered, and like the man in front of her, she soaked it in. Reveled in it, even. Once she was let go did she act. With her teeth bared and her claws out, she spread her wings and rose a few more feet, giving herself enough momentum to quickly dive down, aimed at Rakin, ready to strike… …As soon as she came down, she froze completely as one clawed nail was less than a centimeter from his face, and if Rakin were to be looking at her, he’d notice she was pointing at him. And that’s when the laughter resumed. “HAH!” her hand dropped to her side, though she once again closed the distance between herself and Rakin, still towering over him menacingly. “Have you considered standup? You’re soooo funny. Could use a more original routine though- I’ve tortured thousands of Rakins that killed thousands of Rainas… yanno, metaphorically. I do understand committing atrocities for a purpose though, my sinners whine about their horrible deeds having meaning alllll the time. Gets real boring after a while,” she paused, her grin widening. “You’re like a walking contradiction! One minute you care, the next you don’t, pick a struggle! Maybe if you tried giving anything, anyone- preferably me- your ‘all’, you’d find things aren’t quite what you’re little husk of a one track mind believes they appear as. For example… …It’s a trite opinion, my dear, to think I’m without purpose. I was made to torture, it’s quite literally in my makeup as a demon- and I love it! But you may have noticed already that these people in this maze aren’t anyone I’d care to go after, well at least the ones I’ve met so far - but it’s muuuuuch more fun to learn from them, as we share a common fate now. It’s not worth putting them through hell when they think they’re already there! But you… you’re a special case, and truth be told, I’m still not quite sure what to do with you. Your master? That’s an easy one- though you’ll just have to wait on that one! But back to you! You’ve been destroyed beyond submission, but it seems that was at your own discretion- how sad! I don’t think I could eveeeer give you an injury as meaningful and monumental such as, oh I don’t know… that broken wrist from our dear friend Julien! Truly encapsulates what you’re trying to uphold here, bravo! Seemed like he didn’t even have to try to make your life difficult! Sooo, my dear, if you want pain, I’ll thiiiiink about it, only if you ask nicely, but for the time being, I’ve decided to let you go without a scratch at all. I can’t quite decide yet if you’re going to make it through this whole thing free of the wrath of my teeth and claws, as it seems that your ‘master’ does a damn good job of keeping you broken. Argue all you want about your greater cause, but I’ve seen many Rakins in my many years in hell, and most of the time, they simply just loooove to get off on their own self pity while denying any accountability to the situation at hand. Rakin stood motionless as Calamity repeatedly thretened and encroached on his space. All he did was stand with his arms outstretched. "My goal was never to be funny, or please people." Rakin rolled his eyes. His expression didn't change, not at all amused as Calamity continued on and on. He continued staring as Calamity touched his head with her horns, not moving back to alleviate the pressure. "Great for you, a demon with some sense of morality. I'm sure that was programmed in to you as well." Rakin listened, and rolled his eyes here and there, and huffed, but overall let Calamity continue on. "I think you would be right to kill me where I stand, I definitely deserve it. I won't claim that this isn't my fault, since I definitely played a part in it, but you're wrong about me enjoying the role I've had to take on. Before this, I hadn't killed anyone. I see their faces when I close my eyes- I feed on their powers to keep myself alive. They are in me, every single person that has been sacrificed. They are important. They are not forgotten. I am handling this as tactfully as I can in my current position. You do not understand what Alrai Pin wants- it is nothing but bloodshed and torture. I have transformed this- this- event in to something where people may at least find brief respite and artistry. But you are right in the sense that I don't want to live like this, who the hell would. I am doing what I can to make this all more tolerable, and that's all that can be done." But at her last part, he paused, thinking this over. ".. I know you said this is the last time you'd offer, but you'd have to take that up with Alrai Pin themself. And unfortunately, there is a fight coming up that will be taking up both of our attention's fully.. I am sure you do not want to miss it. This is bound to be one of the more violent matches." Rakin crossed his arms over his chest. "So you should get back to me after it has concluded. But to keep your attention, maybe I can offer something..." He held his bandaged hand out in front of him, and with a crackle of electricity, a single card from the deck Calamity sought appeared in his palm. A queen of clover. Calamity burst into laughter yet again, her cackles filling the snowy void around them. The Queen of Clovers, eh? Her tail immediately flicked up and clasped around the card. She pulled it close, mismatched eyes examining the card. Yep, it was hers. Yet, out of everything she wanted to tell Rakin, that would be her last subject of interest. “Oh, but you are funny!” a clawed nail gently tapped the tip of Rakin’s nose. “I suppose I’ll tell you another one of my secrets- juust because I’ve decided that I like you,” she hummed, her tail swishing about in amusement. Even after Rakin’s rebuttal she didn’t appear very phased- though she’d appeared very lost in thought as he spoke. Some would even mistake it for her appearing remorseful. “I’m supposed to be more like your Alrai Pin- so very obsessed with violence and suffering. But after a while, it got boring! I’d take a couple days off here and there and sneak off to the world of the living. At first I just watched, but it was very clear that so many of the humans I observed had a zest to their puny mortal lives that my superior demon existence was lacking. Soo I took a page out of their book! I picked up hobbies other than making others miserable, and eventually my screenplays got so popular that mortals would watch them too! But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. I’d tell you the full story, but then we’d miss that oh-so-important fight. But! I will say that those humans sure don’t bat an eye when graced with the presence of a beautiful demon such as myself- instead of being feared, those mortals shower me with praise! They looove me at their silly little cosplay conventions- and their strip clubs! Hanging out with humans for years upon years was truly eye opening- every single being is so very different and multifaceted! And that- not the strip club part- made me think… some beings- like your Alrai Pin- are truly despicable, though others are, well, they’re not.

You’re clearly aware of what went wrong, and that’s where things truly get interesting. You mentioned artistry- and who am I to deny an artist! But that aside, you’re just trying to survive, though now you’re finally faced with the consequences of your actions. I suppose some would call that retribution, and others torture. I call it a choice. I won’t judge either way, though!” she smiled once more, fangs on display. “Once again, I’ve made it no secret that I like you. If I didn’t, you’d most likely be dead. Buuuut from the moment you chained me up, I knew that there was something that set you apart from your master. Soooo… I will take you up on your offer. The card has more than solidified my interest in extending my own offer, and well, I’m keen on helping you. You need someone in your corner, yes? I’d be more than happy to go to your master and negotiate- which just says even more about how invested I am in this- in you. Dante's path was easy to follow as he run through the snow and stopped along the bank of the river. He turned human in another flash, pointing out toward the glowing rock in the center of the stream. "You should go over there and see what happens." Dante said. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

“Go… there?” Julien panted, pointing a shaky hand at the stream. Without a second thought he made his way towards it, turning back towards Dante as he approached the rock. “What’s so special about this thing?” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

As soon as he made contact with the strange stone, he could feel something changing in him.. A power spread through his body, a tingling sensation seeping in to his limbs and organs. His body began to slowly glow, and then once he was entirely illuminated, a flash! As the light faded out, Julien had been replaced by a tiny bright orange newt on the ice.. After the flash of light had faded, Julien looked back at Dante in confusion… was that it? However, Dante looked a lot bigger… Julien attempted to make his way back towards him, visibly taken aback upon realizing that his limbs weren’t quite his anymore. His four tiny newt legs were far harder to control on the ice, not to mention the shock of being a newt as well as the cold temperature clearly impeding his actions. Julien fell silent, using all his willpower to focus on transforming back into a human, as well as not dying from the cold… @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

With all his focus placed on it, he began to morph back in to his human form.. It seemed much harder and slower than his initial transformation, but still managed to be painless. Once he was back in to his regular human form, the only remnant of his newt form he had left was a little bright orange tail poking out of the top of his pants.. @Morgan | Calamity + Julien

"Hah! Your tail is oh so little, no respectable newt woman would ever accept your spermatophore!" Dante laughed, so hard that he fell over on to his ass on the snow. Dante kept laughing, only pausing to be able to speak. His face was turning red as well, but from his lack of oxygen from laughing too damn hard. "Maybe human women don't care about the size of your tail, but newt women do! A tail that short must mean you are truly braindead! After all, if your tail is clipped, you lose your mind! Every bone in Julien’s body wanted to prove Dante sooooo wrong. So, of course, he shook his head. “I’d love to see you in the arena then, kicking the asses of other contestants. The flames died down as Julien continued, but flames still danced at the ends of his hair. "Well, tell Rakin to put me in! I'll prove my newt-hood with pride! Julien stared in Dante’s direction until he’d fully faded from view. Once he had, the man simply shrugged and walked away, now having much to think about. And also grapple with having a tail now. That too.
