ZAP! Aileen and Aldreda appeared on platforms in the arena, both suspended impossibly in the air over clouds. The layer of clouds was so thick that how high up they were could not be seen. "Welcome everyone!" Rakin zapped in in front of them, floating in the air. "Since both of our competitors here can fly, I figured why not let them show their skills in an obstacle course? An obstacle course TO THE DEATH!" Aldreda was stumbling a bit on the platform, shaking her left hand out. "Fuck you! My call wasn't even done, asshole!" Aldreda cursed. She paid her opponent no attention at the moment.

(Sorry I had stuff come up yesterday! I will try to remember this and reply a bunch as I can) Aileen grunted... Owls weren't known for speeds, but maybe she could out maneuver Aldreda. She also just wanted this over with, so possibly she wouldn't have to interact with the witch at all. "Do we go now or is there gonna be a count down?" (It's alright, I figured you were busy! I'll be driving back to college in the next few hours so I'll be off and on as well) Seeing that Aileen transformed, Aldreda did as well. In a flurry of flames and sparks, she turned in to a large golden eagle. Her form rippled and blew in the wind, and her piercing yellow eyes stared down at the clouds. "I will give you a countdown, and then you will dive through the clouds! Once you reach below them, the rest of the course will be open to you!" "On your marks... Get set.." "FLY!"

Aldreda tried to keep up her dive, but the further in to the clouds she went, the dimmer she became. She eventually made the decision to turn human again and just free fall. "These are thick as hell-" She coughed, holding her hands over her mouth.

Finally, Aldreda broke through the bottom of the clouds. She turned back in to her eagle form as she scanned the area. "Aldreda has broken through the clouds!" Rakin announced, appearing beside her. The rest of the arena was merely a series of hoops suspended in the air over the void of space below. At the saw side of the arena, there was a podium holding the totem. "You must fly through every hoop to claim the totem in your talons! Any missed hoops will result in disqualification! And no tampering with the hoops is allowed, including breaking, moving, or burning them. Good luck!" Rakin floated off toward the podium.

Aileen seeing how far behind did a few quick calculations and decided to fly so that the maximum number of rings would be between herself and Aldreda. Then she called out. "WITCH! Aldreda came to a harsh halt after she finished the 6th ring, and looked back at Aileen. "HUH?? Oh, come on! I was so ready to pity you when you had to die! Seems like you're an ass anyway! "Hah! I escaped Avis because I knew it was ran by a bunch of crazy Witches and entitled inbred welps! It wasn't even hard to get out! And I made more of a name for myself in the real world then you could ever hope to attain!" Aileen knew she couldn't win in a fight, but maybe... "What are you even talking about?! Yeah it was run by crazy people, but my coven has never had a say in the damn government until the revolution! She had encountered plenty of assholes stuck in their ways that were still lingering around Avis. They weren't worth it. She continued on.

Aldreda turned back to face Aileen and began to glow even brighter as she opened up her beak. A fireball shot out and narrowly missed Aileen, instead melting a bit of the ring next to her.. Aldreda huffed for a moment, before a giant buzzer rang out. "Ohhh, harsh one! Aldreda has hit the hoop- that's an instant redo! If she continues on, she will not be able to take the totem! I'll do her a favor and send her back to the start and replace that broken hoop!" In a flash of lightning, Aldreda was back at the start, and a brand new hoop was put in place of the melted one. Aldreda is back to 0/9 "Oh you- you- you stupid owl! You better get a move on, I won't miss up close!" Aldreda screeched out at her. @Mister Jokestar

Aileen had been studying the history of magic and it's practically applications in the field of medical research for some company. It was a lot of archeology and artifacts. She was doing good work until the company went under... "Oh don't worry your feathers over it, it's much too complicated for the lines of you to understand!" Though in truth, Aldreda probably would've been a great ally to her, being that she had the powers of a Phoenix. Aileen was too scared to ever reveal how close her past was to such a ground breaking discovery. Aldreda passed through the final hoop... She landed on the podium and grabbed the totem with her talons. 9/9 DING DING DING! "Put your wings up for our winner! Aldredaaaaa!" Rakin announced, appearing at the podium. He didn't seem to mind the intense heat as he stood next to the Phoenix. "That was much closer than I expected it to be, to be honest, but here we are! Congratulations Aldreda!" Aldreda just glared back at Aileen. A coward. Her least favorite kind of person. A forcefield shot up around Rakin and Aldreda as the arena began to disintegrate. A vacuum like force would begin to push Aileen out in to space..

(Damn) She disintegrated along with the arena as she fell, and her essence entered the totem. Rakin and Aldreda disappeared in a flash, leaving the arena empty..
