Well, shortly after the battle started, Yeonaixho would begin to feel a migraine begin. Weak at first, but it quickly turned overwhelming. Then, something snapped. Yeonaixho's heart lurched as his control over his body was taken over. He stumbled forward, but caught himself, and ran a hand through his hair, his hand pausing at the frills he found there. Still, he held Minerva close to his chest, and didn't do anything at the moment since neither Tai'tana nor Dante needed any healing at the moment...

Cansu had enough of watching. He knew that he needed to get in on the action, or else this group was toast. Not that he really cared for this group to begin with, but there was Minerva. The fucking baby is what motivated him the most. The chick sprinted forward in front of the group and began to grow in size. He grew, and grew, and grew, until his form was large and looming. Cansu seemed to be entirely made of electricity now with blue and yellow lightning radiating from his body. The air in the surrounding area grew humid from his form, and it slowly began to drizzle. Minerva wasn't exactly happy to be grabbed by some stranger, but it's not like she could do anything about it.

Julien’s hand remained sludge, and it didn’t really seem like he could do much about it at the moment… So with that, he stepped forward in front of Tsubari and hurtled another ball of sludge at Tai’Tana.

Raina ran up to Yeonaixho and reached up toward his head, but the taller man dodged away the first try. Not deterred, Raina jumped up and grabbed on to Yeoanixho's tiny frills on his head. He let out a small, controlled shock, and Yeonaixho slumped down to the ground. To Yeonaixho, it would feel quite painful, but to observers it would seem painless and quick. @Dante and Tai'Tana Yeonaixho is down unless healed.

Julien slowly walked up to Dante, his hand returning to normal. It seemed that he was still somewhat conscious, and seeing that he was the last one, Julien would have to try to knock him out. “Sorry, man,” he mumbled as he delivered a swift kick to Dante’s back. “Maybe if you’re still in there, we can still get pizza?” He thought aloud, even if he himself didn’t believe it in the slightest.

Raina came over to Dante and removed the power stones from him. Well, it was one set of broken stones and then one deck of cards that was a missing a few.. He walked back over to Lykos. "I sense you have the other half of this. Once we are all done, I should be able to combine all the pieces to bring them back. I would do it now, but it will take a lot of my energy, and they will be brought back very weak, so they may die again. It's best to wait." With Zora'a healing, Yeonaixho began to stir from his spot on the ground. "Eugh.... eughhhhhh.... oh my god...." He grumbled this and many similar things as he pulled himself up from the ground. His hand went to his frills again, and he was alarmed to find they were still there. "Oh- oh God-"

Cansu nodded. Though it was beneath him to let others ride on top of him, he lowered himself further to the ground and began to grow in size. To the other side!! Cansu flew straight over the mines and onto the platform. If Yeonaixho listened hard enough, he’d be able to hear triumphant music as the deity took flight. Yeonaixho quickly dismounted and picked Sovran up as best he could, then returned to Cansu quickly to get out of the commotion. "Alright, I've got him. Let's get back to safety." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Yeonaixho would immediately be able to feel the drastic change in Sovran’s body temperature the moment they made contact. Whereas he had always felt warm and welcoming, his body felt stiff and cold this time. His skin also felt sticky to touch from all of the blood that he was covered in. Even if Yeonaixho couldn’t see the damage, it was clear just how near death the man was. Once both men were on top, Cansu airlines took flight. He flew to the other side with the others and landed a good distance behind the others so both men would be safe from any oncoming damage. Sovran's state worried Yeonaixho more than he could ever really describe, but close to dead wasn't dead yet. There was still hope. He could still do something. He dismounted Cansu with Sovran in his arms, and laid his partner out on the groun, laying him on his back. He wasted no time in healing the man's wounds, pressing his hands to Sovran's chest and willing life to return to him. "Please- please, Sovran. Don't leave me. Hold on. Please." He whispered. There was hardly a rise and fall to the man’s chest. What little air he was breathing made his chest rise unevenly from the collapsed lung. His heartbeat was slow, sluggish, painfully weak, but he was still hanging on. As Yeonaixho began to heal his body, the man jerked underneath his hands. He took in a choked gasp of air that became a pained coughing fit. Blood splattered from the man’s lips as he desperately tried to breathe. His chest shuddered with every stuttering gasp of air the man took in. The damage to his throat, chest, and body was overwhelming. Despite the movement, Sovran was hardly alert and aware of himself. Any sign of life was better than nothing. Yeonaixho continued to press healing life into Sovran, bargaining for his life with everything he could offer. He eased Sovran's pain as he healed it- and all the man would be able to feel was the warm numbness of Yeonaixho's healing, and his equally warm, loving touch. "Hold on for me, Sovran. It's alright. Sovran was slowly becoming aware of himself. The warmth was comforting. He felt cold and detached from himself, but the warmth- It was safe, grounding. There wasn’t any pain, there was hardly anything to feel. Just that warmth and hands upon his chest. Familiar hands. These hands were safe and comforting. Sovran attempted to speak, but damaged vocal cords just created pained, almost animalistic sounds. The gaps and holes in his body were healing quite nicely. He still struggled to breathe, but as Yeonaixho raised a hand to his neck, Sovran flinched slightly with panic. He was far too weak to move away or vocalize that panic, so he simply trembled and let those hands touch the damaged flesh. Those were trusting hands, they’d keep him safe. Yeonaixho only touched Sovran with the kindest, gentlest hands, and soothed any pain he felt. He was there for him, and he'd always be there for him, and that was all that mattered. ‘Shh, it’ll be alright. I’m here for you. I’m here. It’s safe.’ The voice was finally breaking through to the man. He was able to comprehend what the person was saying. He attempted to open his eyes, but they simply felt too heavy to lift yet. The world he was in was still of darkness, but the warmth that he was being bathed in helped him to feel not quite alone. He was with someone safe, someone he loved- Someone he loved. Someone he loved, trusted, cared for, adored- Warm lips pressed against his slightly cold ones. Instantly, the tension in his body began to dwindle, leaving him limp and completely relaxed. He recognized these lips- ‘Yeonaixho,’ Sovran’s brain formulated its first proper thought, the name of his lover. ‘Yeonaixho, Yeonaixho, Yeonaixho..’ @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺 [Sovran’s at 20 HP]

Yeonaixho continued to heal Sovran until it was as if none of the wounds had occurred in the first place, and then some. He pushed all the healing energy he could into the body of the one he loved, holding onto him with everything he could. Sovran would not die here, not in Yeonaixho's arms. They'd have a warm, bright future together, and it started with this. He was making sure of it. He stayed kissing Sovran, and he stayed healing him, and would until the other pulled away. Only briefly, he parted to whisper, "I love you, Sovran. Hold on for me." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

With what little strength he could muster, Sovran pressed into the kiss tenderly. It was only for just a few seconds, as he pulled back slightly to gasp for air. It was nice to be able to breathe and have both lungs inflate. His body still ached, but he wasn’t bleeding out and wasn’t in any pain anymore. Yeonaixho truly had performed a miracle with his healing: He practically brought Sovran back from the dead. His eyes opened, and he blinked just a few times to clear the fog away. There he was, holding him in his arms and with his face hovering just a few inches from his own, was Yeonaixho. The man looked- Beautiful. Maybe he truly was dead, and this was simply his brain creating an illusion to comfort him in his last moments. No, the warmth was too grounding and too real for it to be fake. He truly was alive, and it was all because of Yeonaixho. “Y-Ye-Yeonai-” Sovran’s weak voice was hoarse and raspy. Just speaking had zapped him of some of his strength. He was overwhelmed with the sheer relief of it all. Warm, joyful tears trickled down his face. "You gave us quite the scare back there. But you're back. You're safe." Sovran weakly gave Yeonaixho’s arm a little squeeze, almost as if he was trying to say, ”Sorry for givin’ you such a fright.” He was far too weak to get the words out, so he hoped his touch would be able to get that across. As he was kissed, he smiled faintly into each one. His heart fluttered with warmth and affection for his partner. Raising the hand that had been on Yeonaixho’s arm, he reached up and shakily brushed Yeonaixho’s hair back, tucking it behind his ear. “L-l-lov-love- Y-y.. You..” Sovran forced the words out no matter how much they hurt to speak. He needed to say them, he absolutely needed to. If these were going to suddenly be his last words, Sovran needed to let his partner know just how much he loved him. @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

As Sovran brushed Yeoanixho's hair, his hand would brush against the frills that now adorned his head. Yeonaixho flinched slightly at the touch, but didn't mention it. He made effort to not let it affect his expression. Now was not the time for that. The only thing that mattered now was that he was with Sovran, again. "I know." Yeonaixho smiled, and pressed another kiss to Sovran's forehead. "I know you do." @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

The frills.. Felt realistic enough, but they were strange. The blood loss had to be messing with him right now. Oh well, even if they were real, Sovran would still love Yeonaixho, and always would. This would just be another thing to love about him. ”So-so..sorry i-if th-th-.. hh-urt..” Sovran hummed at his smile and the forehead kiss. Warmth spread through his entire body. So this is love~ The man shut his eyes and sagged against Yeonaixho’s warmth, taking comfort in his contact. "It didn't hurt. I'm alright." Yeonaixho reassured. He held Sovran close, completely content to stay there as long as his partner needed to. Sovran hummed slightly at that. He couldn’t quite hear what anyone else was saying- All he could focus on was Yeonaixho’s voice and his presence. He probably would’ve passed out if it wasn’t for his partner keeping him in this moment. “Mm.. B-bro-broke.. H-h-h-h-his-” Sovran panted slightly as he stuttered with his words. Sovran’s eyes cracked open with concern when he heard Yeonaixho’s first statement. He had his brain taken over? Gently, Sovran squeezed Yeonaixho’s arm. This time, he tried to get across the words, ‘Are you okay?’ The man did his best to crane his head to look over Yeonaixho’s body for any injuries. Even in his current state, he was far more worried for his partner. At his second statement, he gave Yeonaixho a lighter squeeze. For now. They’d stay here for now, but he knew that Yeonaixho deserved to get some hits in on Rakin. He just hoped his partner wouldn’t go so far. @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

There weren't any injuries on Yeonaixho's body, save for a slight bruise where Tsubari had punched him that one time (but even that was healing thanks to Zora's powers). "I'm alright. I promise." He reassured. It wasn't exactly the truth- he was worried out of his mind, but at least physically he was fine. Yeonaixho simply lingered with Sovran, letting him rest for as long as he needed to. Sovran physically relaxed at seeing that Yeonaixho was relatively unharmed. Good. Good. His heart could rest a bit easier now. In the distance, Zora stood with her siblings. She scanned the battle field to see if there was anyone else who needed healing when she saw a sight that made her freeze. There, upon the ground, Yeonaixho was embracing Sovran in his arms. Sovran, Sovran, he was alive- How was he alive? How- “G-guys,” Zora’s voice cracked as her emotions started to get the best of her. Everyone was still tackling the egg, but Nathan didn't really have the energy in 'm to keep jabbing it with spikes. (It seemed to be going well though- damn those landmines were crazy.) "mm .mm ?" Nathan hummed, managing to crack an eye open. (When'd they close it.) "sovr'n's 'live?" Yeeup. There he was, alive and in th'flesh. And of course, he 'n Juno were hugging each other. That was sweet. Zora nodded her head before beginning to lead the way. She moved at a quick pace, eager and excited to see Sovran. Sovran smiled weakly at Yeonaixho’s comment. The kids, huh? God, he loved those kids, each and every one of ‘em. Hopefully, Sovran had some energy in him to interact with them. @cult family

Yeonaixho simply held Sovran in his arms as he waited for the kids to arrive. It sounded like Zora was going to get there first... And then, the explosion happened. While he obviously couldn't see it- at least not very well, he reacted to the light by leaning over Sovran, shielding him from the blast. He paused to hear Raina's announcement. "Huh.... it's over." He hummed. "Wait- is he going to bring Jymaiyri back?" @cult family

Sovran flinched as the wave washed through the field. The bright light made him turn his head into Yeonaixho’s chest so it wouldn’t bother his eyes. Everything about his body felt so sore and sensitive, it hurt. “Th-th-they be-tter..” Sovran mumbled against his partner’s chest. He didn’t know who was going to be the one to bring back Jymaiyri, but his heart fluttered rapidly at the thought of having her back. He missed her dearly. From a distance, Zora continued to run even as the blast made her stumble and nearly topple over. Still, she ran, eager to get to their sides. And once she arrived, Zora dropped to her knees and skidded to a stop beside them. Immediately, the girl did her best to hug them both as she cried. Though, she maybe squeezed a bit too hard, because Sovran gasped loudly in pain. Zora immediately let go, though she kept a hand on both of their shoulders. “O-oh my- I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to!” Zora apologized. “Are you okay, Sovran?” “Mmhm, I-I’m ju-just a-a-alri-right..” Sovran stammered weakly. He looked up at Zora and gave her a small smile. “G-good to s-s-see you, k-k-kid..” The girl frowned with concern. She immediately looked at Yeonaixho as her mind began to race. Was Sovran actually okay? He just stumbled with his words, that was common with head injuries- Did he have a head injury? Was his brain swelling right now from the trauma? Was he in danger of dying again? Was- Did- Why did it look like Yeonaixho had Sovran’s blood on his lips? “D-dad..?” Zora tested out the word somewhat cautiously. She hadn’t called Yeonaixho dad, not yet. Part of her still feared rejection, but she also wished so sincerely that she would be allowed to call him that still. “I-is he o-okay..?” @cult family (edited)

Nathan stumbled briefly as Nora hugged them, but hugged her back nonetheless, smiling faintly. And when that bright light came and began to burn, they pressed their face into the toppa Nora's head, eyes scrunched shut. Safe, safe now, safer now, here with them. Burning, aching, twisting, scorching. "y'help'd me," they mumbled, voice barely above a whisper. "thank you. m'alright now thanks t'you guys. you did so much t'help me." Thank you. Thank you guys. I love you guys so much, y'know that? You guys are so amazing. I'm so glad I met you guys. I love you. They began to quietly rumble, their face still mashed into Nora's hair. If she had ever heard a cat before...well. It would be pret-ty similar to purring. @cult family

Nora had never heard a cat purr, but she always wanted to. The quiet rumbling, with Nathan smushing their head against her hair, created such a soft feeling in her heart. Tears pricked at her eyes as she hugged her big brother even tighter. ”I- I’m glad y-you’re okay… and- helped.. I- I love youu..” There was a slight whine to her voice, but not from sadness. She was happy. So, so very happy. @cult family

"Zora! You're safe!" Yeonaixho moved a hand to wrap around Zora's back as he used the other to hold Sovran, gently patting her to offer support. "He's alright. Recovering, but alright. I was able to heal him up pretty well, and he'll make it. He just needs time to recover." He reassured, and wiped the blood on his mouth off on his sleeve. "It's all gonna be alright, kiddo. I promise." To Sovran, he turned, "How are you feeling now, actually?" @cult family

Zora squeezed her eyes shut as Yeonaixho hugged her. This was a safe and fatherly embrace- She had long since forgotten how it felt like to be hugged by a parental figure. Not only was his hug reassuring, but so were his words. She found herself relaxing. Zora gave Yeonaixho- Her dad a tight squeeze before she released him. “O-okay, good, good- I-I’m glad. Thank you for healing him, dad,” The word made her heart flutter with joy. This was nice. “A-and are you okay?” To Yeonaixho’s question, Sovran gave a shaky thumbs up. “G-good.. Fl-fl-floaty, b-but- Good, I th-think..” @cult family

"mmm," Nathan hummed. They hugged their kid sister slightly more, feeling all the contentment and happiness stir up in their chest just by being there with her. "i love y'too. love y'lots 'n lots." They didn't know what they'd do without them- which was a crazy thought to think, but it was true. He didn't know what he'd do without them here. Siblings, happy 'n content and having little tea parties, visiting their family, visiting their friends. The best frickin' siblings til' the end of time. Nathan's tail subconsciously curled around Nora's leg, swishing happily against her. They continued to loudly purr. @cult family

Nora hugged them for a bit longer, gently swaying. She laughed lightly as his tail swished around. After a moment she pulled away, one hand still on their arm. She wiped away a few tears before smiling up at him. “L-let’s go t-to papa ‘n Ssovran.” @cult family

"Mhm. That's good. We'll stay here a bit longer, so you can recuperate." Yeonaixho nodded. At Zora's remark, he smiled. "Of course. The world would be a much sorrier place without Sovran in it, so of course I had to do everything I could to get him back. I'm glad I was able to." "Mhmm.... I'm alright. Only really got punched once in the fight... and I'll live. Rakin took over my brain back during the fight, but he just made me heal and then someone knocked me out. And I'm fine now." An idle hand went to the frills on his head. "He did... something to me, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what. Besides giving me these." @cult family

Sovran gave Yeonaixho’s arm a grateful squeeze. He’d appreciate some more time to recover. “St-still, thank you..” Zora smiled a little. She looked at the frills upon Yeonaixho’s head and frowned. “I don’t.. Know what he did, I don’t know what those are..” @cult family

Huh. Right, the last time he heard her laugh was before her fight. What a relief it was now, to hear her laughter without a worry. He liked that. That was fun. Mournfully, the hug was over. Nathan's tail was still going at it even as Nora pulled away, and they nodded in agreement. Sovr'n and Juno- and Zora too- were sitting there, not too far away from them. Looks like Zora beat 'em to the punch. At the sight of tears, Nathan faltered, near instinctively wanting to wipe away her tears, um. Without really remembering the claw issue. They offered her their jacket sleeve, and began to carefully walk their way over, using Nora as a bit of support. @cult family

Nora sniffled and took the sleeve, wiping her eyes. “Th-thank you..” Nora led the way, smiling brightly at her family. “Papa, Ssovran!! Y-you’re ssafe, we c-can all go home!!” @cult family

"Mhm..." Yeonaixho hummed, and was about to say something else when it finally clicked for him. "Oh my God. He turned me into an amphibian. Oh- oh, God." He could deal with that later, Nora and Nathan were coming over now. "Nora! We're all safe, yeah, though Sovran's still recovering, so be gentle with him. I think Jymaiyri's gonna come back soon, too!" @cult family

“Th-that’s what he turned you into?” Zora’s jaw dropped slightly. “Oh my god- Why’d he do that? I-I wonder if Raina can reverse it..” When Nora and Nathan arrived, Zora smiled brightly at them. “We can go home soon! I’m so excited- It’s all going to be okay for real this time!” Sovran shakily lifted a hand in greeting, giving the two newcomers a grin. “H-hey, you t-two..” At the mention of Jymaiyri coming back, both Sovran and Zora perked up slightly. They were eager to see her come back. @cult family

"man, he turned you 'nto an 'mphibian?" Nathan's voice was all crackly from the Oni static, but they didn't seem to mind it too much. They also didn't really seem to notice they might have also been turned into an amphibian. Like, a toad, perchance. "thas'crazy. who's raina." Out of the loop as usual, big guy Natto. "s'good t'see you back, big man," Nathan crackled, waving slightly. "i was'workin' on your leg, but i think it got lost in everything. whoops." Nathan's tail eagerly swung behind them as soon as they processed that, oh, Jymaiyri would be coming back! "wait, they can do that? that's awesome, hell yeagh." To be honest, they had no clue how it'd work, but hey- if Jymaiyri would be comin' back, who really cared about how it'd work? @cult family

"I'm- I'm not exactly sure, I just know I heard Raina talking about bringing people back. We'll have to go talk to him soon about it." He hummed. "Sovran, how are you feeling?" @cult family

“St-still floaty, but a lot less floaty,” Sovran admitted. His voice definitely sounded a bit stronger now. “I f-feel a bit more gr-grounded..” @cult family

"let's grab a sit," Nathan quietly offered Nora, shuffling to a weird sort of sit-squat position on the ground. Good enough. Still not a clue who Raina was. Eh, they'd prolly find out soon enough. "that's good," they sighed, "the uh, grounded part, not the floaty part. you need water or anythin'? i think there's...pizza 'n soda here? which is kinda surprising, but still." @cult family

"If you need more, I can help. Don't be afraid to ask." Yeonaixho hummed, gently moving a hand up to stroke Sovran's hair. "We'll stay here as long as you need. I don't want you overexerting yourself and ending up hurt again." @cult family

W-We got pizza?” God damn, of all the delicacies they could have, Sovran was thankful that it was pizza. “Mighty temptin’, a-ain’t gonna lie.” At first, Sovran was going to deny some healing before he hesitated. Maybe.. It was about time he started taking care of himself, huh? Maybe he should be a bit more open about his needs. After fighting, dying, fighting again, almost dying- The man deserved some more rest. “.. I w-wouldn’t mind a b-bit more healin’, if it’s alright.” Sovran spoke softly. “I can-” “You can s-sit there and re-relax, kid,” Sovran interrupted Zora. “I’m sure y-you’ve done a lot of healin’ this whole time. Mmm, food. Yum. Fuck, man, they didn't eat in a bit. Except croutons, yummy. "sometimes, y'can put stuff onnit, like peppyroni, that's, like, cut up salty hhham stuff, bell peppers, uh, more cheese, 'nd pineapple, but i'unno i'un really care about pineapple too much. but i like cheese, i just can't eat it because it's cheese. mmm, cheese." "you should eat," Nathan said, squinting at Zora. "'cause you've been healin'. get some pizza, get some soda, they got soda. Oh, yeah soda-" They were going to talk for a bit. Nora listened to Nathan’s explanations attentively, imagining the food he described. She didn’t know what some of the words meant, but after a few more questions she understood the general idea. “Mm… maybe we c-can get pizza ffor everyone? I wanna t-try it!” @cult family

"Mhm, pizza would be nice." Yeonaixho hummed. Something warm, something solid. "Don't push yourself, Zora. I've got this." He kept his hand in Sovran's hair, and through that touch sent more healing energy through him. @cult family

“I think we should all eat,” Zora huffed. “Not just me. I don’t think any of us have eaten an actual meal in- A long while, maybe. Maybe a few of us can run over and bring the pizza back here?” Sovran sighed with relief as Yeonaixho ran his fingers through his hair. He could feel the healing warmth spread from there through the rest of his body. His body started to relax further as the aches and pains dwindled away. “Th-thank you, Yeonaixho,” Sovran mumbled before he opened his eyes. Best not to sleep yet, even though he desperately wanted to. Blood loss was still a concern if that was something that couldn’t be remedied. Plus, ‘sleep’ felt too much like ‘death’ at the moment. Dying once and then being on death’s doorstep seemed to be fucking with his head a little. He’d get over it soon. “Th-that sounds great, brinin’ s-some over here,” Sovran cleared his throat to speak a bit clearer. “Go tr-treat Nora to her first sl-slice of pizza.” @cult family

Nathan laughed a bit, their voice crackling delightfully. "y'cnn try some pizza, yeah. 'n soda, yum. or water." "you tw'.o sleep," Nathan orders, squinting at Zora as well. Sovran was a given, mans just came back from death. And Zora? Well. Judging from all the, ouch, ow, light burns, it would be reasonable to assume she was also doing a good bit of healing too. "you. zora. sit. me 'n nor's are gonna grab food." Hell, standing again. And five slices of pizza. Did babies eat pizza? Prolly not. "alrr. nora, ready t'try y'first pizza?" @cult family

Nora really hadn’t ate anything other than mango and some soup broth, which was better than her usual diet- still, could be better. Pizza could help with that. Nora got to her feet. “Mhm! I-I’m ready. Um, l-let me help you up..” She offered a hand to them with a smile. @cult family

"Of course." Yeonaixho smiled. He was nothing but gentle with Sovran, and drew his hand down to cup his lover's face. "Yeah, we can have a little pizza party! "Be safe out there! We'll still be over here." Yeonaixho said. He hoped he could reunite with his baby soon. @cult family

“Haven’t had one of those in a while,” Sovran chuckled as he shut his eyes. Maybe he wouldn’t sleep, but would just enjoy a moment of resting his eyes. “Sounds good. And s-sure, Nathan, I’ll just rest my eyes a bit.” Zora let out another huff. “I’ll sleep soon. Maybe once- Things are a bit more settled.. If you two need help carrying anything, lemme know.” @cult family

Nathan hesitates for a moment before slowly taking Nora's hand into their clawed one. They're shaking. Badly. Eventually, with Nora's help, they manage to stand, flashing a wobbly thumbs up at Zora as they start to make their way to the pizza. @cult family

Raina obviously grimaced at the mold orb, but thankfully Yeonaixho couldn't see that. He reached in to his pocket and pulled out several other smaller moldy pieces. ".. Raina said fused the pieces together. He stepped back from Yeonaixho and tossed the orb back toward him. As it was flying he sent a giant bolt of lightning at it, and Jymaiyri began to reform.. As Jymaiyri reformed, a dense cloud of spored formed around her body, growing thicker and thicker the more of her body reformed. As soon as she had lungs again to breathe from, she was coughing and hacking, gasping desperately for clean air. She looked.... different than she had before, even different than when she had died. Her hair was matted, her face was gaunt, her gaze was distant and bloodshot. Nearly every inch of exposed skin was covered by a thin layer of white-green, feathery mold. She contorted awkwardly on the ground, like some in-animal form suddenly contending with the horror of having a body. She kept coughing and gasping, even once she was completely formed. Yeonaixho completely ignored Raina's very sound advice of staying back, and rushed forward to his wife. "Jymaiyri!" He crouched beside her and put a hand on her shoulder, sending healing energy into her frail body. Through gasping coughs, she let out a frail noise of both pain and appreciation. Nora cringed a little. “Mmmleh.. apple..” It didn’t look like any apple she knew, but she didn’t want to try it in case it was the same. The thought of fruit made her feel icky. "Hm? Oh, um- yeah, a bit later though," they reassured, poking a bit at the box. "I'll grab some for the others first 'n then get my stuff- we still gotta bring a few slices for the others, y'know?" Click clack. Nathan rearranged a few slices of pizza for the others in the boxes- one fruit for Juno, uhhh. Two cheese, and one pepperoni, and one meatball. That should be fine enough for the others -and tossed a handful of garlic knots in there, too. Yum. Five slices of loose pizza in a box and like, six garlic knots. Nathan squinted at Nora playfully, tapping the edge of their claw against her plate. "C'mahhhn, d'you like the pizza? Or, uh, were you waitin' to eat with the others?" "Heyyy, atta'boy, y'got it," Nathan encouraged, tapping his claws against the box in somewhat applause. After a moment or two of rustling, Nathan had also gathered a few cups and napkins, and had them stacked neatly on top of the pizza box. Yum, pizza. "Alright, let's head back to the others. Bet they've been waitin' for some good pizza. And we can all eat it together, sounds good?" With their free hand, they extended their jacket sleeve- but seeing as Nora didn't have any hands, their tail curled around her arm instead. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

She shifted the bottle in her arms and nodded. “Mhm! Pizza time! Eehee!” She pouted slightly as she couldn’t hold his sleeve- but that was quickly solved by the tail wrapped around her arm. She smiled with a little gasp. “Y-you!! You can- your tail!! Like a- a, um!! Monkey!!! Eeee that’s sso c-cool!!” @Kipology | Nathan 🏺 + Connie ⚡

"Yeah! Pizza time. It's-'za time." Nathan began to walk, slowly, looking at Nora with a cheeky smile. "Heh- y'like it? I guess it's kinda like a monkey's tail, y'know?" Huh. It was prehensile and all that stuff, but it wasn't like he did it on purpose or anything. It just kinda...did. More stuff to learn about, probably. @Sauce | Nora🧶+Lykos🐺

As Jymaiyri reformed, a dense cloud of spored formed around her body, growing thicker and thicker the more of her body reformed. As soon as she had lungs again to breathe from, she was coughing and hacking, gasping desperately for clean air. She looked.... different than she had before, even different than when she had died. Her hair was matted, her face was gaunt, her gaze was distant and bloodshot. Nearly every inch of exposed skin was covered by a thin layer of white-green, feathery mold. She contorted awkwardly on the ground, like some in-animal form suddenly contending with the horror of having a body. She kept coughing and gasping, even once she was completely formed. Yeonaixho completely ignored Raina's very sound advice of staying back, and rushed forward to his wife. "Jymaiyri!" He crouched beside her and put a hand on her shoulder, sending healing energy into her frail body. Through gasping coughs, she let out a frail noise of both pain and appreciation. She leaned into his embrace @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 ( @cult family she's back :3 )

"Heyyy, gang, we got piz'za 'n soda," Nathan called, making their way over to the group with Nora in tow. Oh, yeah, that soda was going to burst. "We got garlick knots, we got plain, we got pepp'roni, we got- we got.. . uh." Was that Jymaiyri? She looked...different from what they remembered. Well. Not...too different from her final moments. "Nora, don't look," they quickly, yet quietly say, side-stepping in front of her. "Um, for now. Trust." @cult family

Yeonaixho had managed to clean away most of the dusty, surface mold from his wife's skin, but she was still very clearly marred by it. She didn't speak, or seem to react to anything, instead staring blankly forth as Yeonaixho tended to her. "Nathan, Nora, you're back!" Yeonaixho smiled weakly. "Jymaiyri's, uh, still recovering from... coming back." @cult family

Nathan manages to block her vision at the right time. “Bwuh? Oh, um, okay.. mm, i-is sssomething wrong..?” @cult family

Sovran had already greeted Jymaiyri in a scene that I imagine was emotional on his end. Now, he was back to sitting and recovering on the group, still worn out from everything that had occurred. Zora, stood up and took Nora’s hand. She offered her a small smile. @cult family

"Uh, nothin's...wrong," Nathan reassured, still standing there in front of Nora. While Jymaiyri seemed...alright at a glance, they had a bit of a feeling that something was pretty off. It made...sense, especially considering everything. "Hey, Jymaiyri," they greet, shrugging slightly. They're not really able to wave at her with the pizza in their hands. Their tail tightens slightly more on Nora's arm in their best attempt to reassure her. "Nora, uh, Miss Jymaiyri's here." @cult family

"Nothing's wrong. Jymaiyri just needs... time to recover." Yeonaixho reassured the rest of the family. Jymaiyri clung to his side, and even met Nathan's gaze briefly, but still said nothing. At least things weren't as... fungal as they had been before. Minerva mostly just seemed happy to be with her mama again, moldy or not. Weird baby. @cult family

Nora holds Nathan’s tail and her sister’s hand close, worriedly. Something deep in her core was telling her not to look. “…w-will sshe- she be okay..?” @cult family

“Sh-she’ll be okay, she just needs some time,” Zora took in a deep breath. “W-we all could use some time..” @cult family

Nathan cocked his head to the side ever so slightly as Jymaiyri met their gaze but said nothing else. After a moment, they guided their sisters to sit with them in the group, setting the pizza box down in front of them. "I think she'll be 'lright," they reassured Nora. "But it'll take time. Lots'a stuff takes time, y'know?" Arranging their lanky, gangly limbs into a cross-sit position, they opened up the box. "We got some food if you guys're hungry, and Nora's got a buncha soda, too." @cult family

"She'll be alright." Yeonaixho reassured. "We'll all be alright. We just have to.... adjust to the changes." He turned to Jymaiyri. "Are you hungry? They brought food." Jymaiyri contemplated this, but shook her head. "No." She said, her voice still incredibly hoarse. "I'm just... tired." @cult family

Nora followed along, a worried look shadowing her face. She kept her gaze to the ground, her hat covering her eyes. The soda was hissing in her arms as they sat. As Jymaiyri spoke, she startled, almost looking to her- but she shut her eyes, and tried to take a deep breath. Why was her heart racing? Mom’s here it’s okay we’re going home everything’s fine- @cult family

Zora gave Nora’s hand another gentle squeeze. “It’s okay, Nora. Here- Let’s take a seat, okay? We’ll have some food, talk things over, and just- Relax.” “I could do with some food,” Sovran admitted from his spot beside Yeonaixho and Jymaiyri. He glanced towards Jymaiyri. “Would you like to try gettin’ a bite? It might help you feel a bit more- Grounded. Comin’ back kinda throws you off a bit.” @cult family

With Nathan's hands freed, he lightly squeezed Nora's hand, avoiding all the prickly claw bits. "We're here, Nora," they quietly said, smiling brightly at them. "We're here, it's all good." How nice. The seven of them, all chilling together. Kinda like picnicking, except, uh, in the middle of the battlefield. But hey, it didn't seem like anyone minded. "We grabbed like, cheese, pep, meatball, and like. A buncha garlic knots. Which is like, six. Oh, and a pineapple one," Nathan rattled off. "We- we didn't see any water? But we got shaken-up soda, so that could...kinda work?" @cult family

Jymaiyri clung towards Yeonaixho- clearly not ready for all the decision-making and attention on her just yet. Newly blossomed instincts only told her to burrow and hide, in someplace dark and dirt-filled. She glanced towards Sovran, then back to Yeonaixho. "I don't-" "I think that might all be... a bit too much for her right now." Yeonaixho said, mostly to Sovran but also to the whole group. "All greasy, and all that. We don't want to force anyone to eat when they aren't hungry- we'll get Jymaiyri something when she's ready." To Sovran specifically, he leaned in to whisper. "Don't push it too much, please. It's been a lot already. I don't want to stress her out more with social interaction than what's necessary." @cult family

They said it’s fine so it’s fine it’s fine we’re going home- The contact helped, grounding her in the moment, helping her not to drown in her worries. “Mm-mhm.. a-all here.. w-we’ll go hhome..” She had a vice hold on the soda, causing a bit of the shaken drink to start hissing out of the cap. @cult family

“Right,” Sovran whispered back. “My bad, Yeonaixho.” He looked towards Nora and smiled. “Need help with that soda, kid? It’s lookin’ like it’s about to bust.” “Mmhm,” Zora gave Nora’s hand another squeeze. “Home. We’ll be there soon.” @cult family

"Yeah, pizza's real greasy," Nathan agreed, flashing a little thumbs up. "Alls good, whenever you guys are ready." Returning his attention to his siblings, he seemed a little surprised at the amount'a froth. "Ah yeah. It does that sometimes, no worries." "We can go home soon, all'a us together, yeah?" @cult family

"Mhm...." Yeonaixho nodded, and adjusted his hand on Jymaiyri's shoulder. "I think Agustin said he was opening the portals now.... I'm ready to go home if you all are." It had been so much. He was ready to go home. He helped Jymaiyri stand up, and gave her support as she guided them both towards Agustin, leading the family back home... @cult family

Nora opened her eyes just a crack, her face still shadowed by her hat. Looking up to Sovran, then back to the soda, she slowly handed over to him. Thankfully none of it got on her clothes yet. With Nathan and Juno heading over to talk, her hands were more free. So out of wanting something else to focus on more than hunger, she finally tried the pizza. “…Oh. It’s- it’s rreally good..” It was already cold, but it was delicious. Salt and bread and cheese and something else under it and it was soooooooooo good. Nora was straight chilling.
