Isabelle turned to Raina before shaking her head. "I'm sorry, I don't know where it went. Madison's powers weren't recovered from the amphibs from what I could tell." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Isabelle looked around... "Actually... Madison's powers have a special kind of vision. You don't suppose I can detect it..." She mostly asked the air... Aka you mads is that a thing. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Hm. You could try that." Raina said. When Isabelle activated the powers she'd be able to see a slight glow from the platform Rakin and Bridge had been standing on. It looked like a pile of gray powder on the ground. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"Huh... Any chance you have a vacuum? Looks like the other half is a pile of ash." She pointed to the platform. "Don't know what that's about, but there's your other half. A pile on the floor. Can you work with that?" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"Huh..? The others have been broken in to large pieces.." Raina frowned. "I can try my best to fix it, but if any pieces are missing, it might not work.. Is she someone close to you?" @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Isabelle nodded. "Yeah... She is. What happens if there's pieces missing?" She was cautious in asking, hoping for the worst. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"She.. could come back wrong, or not at all." Raina sighed. "I'll try to be extra careful to keep everything together." @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

"I would prefer if we tried either way. Is there anything I can do to help?" Isabelle offered. She couldn't come back too much worse... Could she? @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

"If you could help to gather up all the pieces, that may help. The more we have the better." Raina said and began walking toward the platform. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

It took a bit of time to gather all the tiny shards and pieces that were scattered across the platform and also half covered in blue ooze, but the ultraviolet vision made it easier. Raina pilled up the whole half and all the shards in front of him. "Okay.. I think I'm ready to try now." @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Isabelle helped pile them on, stepping back and hoping for the best. "Please bring her back." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Raina nodded, and reached his hands over the pieces.. Strong electricity surged around, slowly connecting all the disjointed pieces.. It took some time, and a lot of effort, but the orb slowly came together in to one solid piece. There didn't seem to be anything particularly missing, so that was good. Raina grabbed the orb and took a moment to rest before throwing it up in the air. He sent an extremely large bolt at it in the air, and slowly.. Madison began to reform. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

There wasn't much Isabelle could do but watch. She waited in anticipation and held her breath as Raina threw the orb. It reminded her of something she just did in the last hour or two. What would Madison even remember..? Would it be before the fight? Before this whole thing? Only Madison will know the answer. Madison reformed, and Raina was a bit quicker on the draw this time to summon the robe. Her form was at first just a glowing gray vaguely body shaped thing, but it slowly morphed in to her usual body. The light faded, revealing Madison, just as she had been before she died.. Sopping wet. She floated back down to the ground and plopped on to it, instantly coughing up water and gripping at the floor. Seems like she wasn't too aware of where she was yet. @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

It's giving that transformation from the end of beauty and the beast. Anyways- As Madison reformed, Isabelle couldn't hold it any longer. The moment she started coughing up water, she dashed to hug Madison, likely squeezing the water that was left out of her. "Madison! You're okay. You're alive!!!" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Yeah, out came the rest of the water with Isabelle's accidental heimlich maneuver. "Wh-" Madison choked out and took a moment to breathe again. Her voice was hoarse from all of the crying and screaming that in her mind had just happened. "Is-?! Where a-are we?!" Isabelle herself was trying not to cry, not minding the clothes that were soaking through with the wet. "It's okay. We're in the arena. We're okay now. You're okay now." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Isabelle ran her hand over the sopping, matted hair. They really needed to brush it. "No, the fight is over. All of the fights are over. We're going to go home soon." She wrapped her arms around Madison. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Yeah with all the falling and swimming and running that had happened during the fight, Madison's hair was a mess. Thankfully she didn't still have that incredibly long hair, so it was more manageable, but still gross. She slowly raised her hands up to hold on to Isabelle's arms. Isabelle shook her head. "I feel bad enough about what happened during the fight. I know... You need to know. But right now I need you to believe me. We're okay. "You're not dead now, are you?" Isabelle asked in response. "And unfortunately for you, there aren't many other people you know around here. I.. don't know what came over me then. Suddenly, Madison shoved Isabelle off of her. "I-it's not okay just because you- b-because you somehow brought me back!" She yelled. Without her legs, all she could really do was sit in place, but it was clear she wanted to move. "A-and don't try to make me feel isolated! I-i can't trust you! Y-you think I wasn't scared too?! Y-you weren't the- the one put in that dungeon f-for days! I was horrified a-about being back in a tournament!" @Gab | Ip🪩 + Subaru

Yeah it didn't move Isabelle very far. "I know it's not okay. You think I haven't thought about it every moment since that fight ended?" She tried to calm herself down. Knowing anything really, getting defensive was only going to make it worse. "I'm... I can't expect you to trust me. I have to admit it no matter how much I want you to." The dungeon. Of course. The dungeon. "Look. I can't make up for what I did. I'm just telling you the truth. And I'll tell you what happened." She took a deep breath. "After you... fell into space. I was summoned, just like every other winner was after me. They made us do this stupid maze one death at a time. Over time, the matches got more brutal, more cruel. But we couldn't do anything. And to top off that cruel joke, they gave me your powers. Half of them, to be exact. By the end, those of us that were left had to fight other people who were here unwillingly to get everyone's powers back. And to finally get home." She looked around. "I think they're tearing the host apart as we speak. You don't... have to believe me. But.. it's been over a month. On Earth at least. Not here. Madison was working hard to calm herself down but.. all she could feel was anguish and the tears rolling down her face. So much had happened, and to her, it felt like she was falling off that bridge a few seconds ago. At least she had her legs then. And now Isabelle was claiming that it had been a month since they left. A month. Her AI would be active- hopefully no one had even noticed she was gone. She'd get home, and everything would be normal again. Her friends would be there, Silver would be there, her project would be there.. "I-i need to get back to my tower. T-to get my legs back." Isabelle kept her breathing steady, keeping her hands to herself for now. "We'll get home in due time. There was this... phone, somewhere on the cold side. I used one of my phone calls to talk to Mason. He's waiting for you." She answered, leaving out the AI thing for now. "I... didn't keep track... Raina is bringing as many back as possible, but he needs their powers intact. Luckily, yours were." Even though they were pulverized. That response to Uly was shared between them. "Well when your family disappears, you're going to look for them. He couldn't leave Devonte alone, either. But he is waiting for us. I don't... think there's anyone who can help with your leg situation. I would offer to take you to the tv room to find a tv to dismantle for parts but we're kinda stuck in the arena at the moment." "..." Madison glanced up at her as she sat, but then looked away again. They did sit in silence for a while, before Madison muttered something quietly: ".. Do you remember how hopeful and excited we felt on the boat out of Chen's? How the future felt so.. boundless..?" Madison asked. She did enjoy the silence while it lasted. Tense as it was. But she considered the question. The boat. It did look like that didn't it? The light at the end of the tunnel for everyone trapped there. "I... guess so. It was so long ago now. So much has happened since then. Including this one." She thought about what Madison said. It made sense, but she was kinda... dead the whole time. Well, Isabelle was alright actually before this, but she had left her to die, so that kind of soured her in her eyes anyway. Oh, also Tyler was out there with Aries.. Forever a nuisance to Madison... Mason also hadn't changed, at all, to an annoying extent. ".. What is even back home for me anyway, Isabelle? "Oh yeah... Mason mentioned that when I talked to him. He actually managed to figure out it was you, and he's been hiding ever since. I tried to tell him, but he thinks I was a hallucination." She explained. She had no real comment she wanted to say out loud. Although if Madison voiced her thoughts she would have a field day in response. But maybe you are the problem, Madison Jura. Also get some therapy. "Older aside, you're still very young. You can still turn things around. Go to therapy, make real friends. It was just like she thought- Isabelle had moved on. She didn't consider them real friends. The circumstances in which they met.. It wasn't possible for those bonds to be genuine, was it? Especially not when she had been so young. She would have clung to anyone that saved her from that torture, even though they were also the ones responsible for putting her in it. She glanced down at where her legs should have been, and tears stung at the corners of her eyes. With a frightening strength she gripped at her arms. "I-I just- I- Please g-get me home.." Isabelle sighed. "That's not... what I meant. I'll take you home either way." Isabelle stood up, stretching her arms for a bit before helping Madison straighten up as she picked up the sopping wet meow meow. "I suppose I just figured you no longer saw me as one.
