(Pt1) As Sovran fell in to the void and turned to nothingness, Rakin finally spoke. "Well, everyone.. That was pretty good for a first and last attempt by Bridge, really got me there for a while!" Rakin announced from no specific place. "But sadly, that does conclude our show here.. Either Sovran or Kian dying puts us at our quota, so even if poor little Kian had decided to put Sovran out of his misery, well, Kian has his own menagerie of powers to work with..." "But thank you everyone for your willing and explicit participation in this event! It has been lovely being your host, and you're welcome, I shot down Bridge's idea of an ad-break here. I think it would have really ruined the mood, but it would have been funny.." "Now, let's get on with the real finale, the thing you have all been waiting foooooooor!"

The arena Kian stood in began to crack and splinter away, until he was left to stand on only a small portion of it with a protective forcefield around himself. It wasn't vengestone, but it would interrupt his powers.

In the place of the previous arena, a new small platform appeared. A large, rainbow colored boulder was placed in the center of it. It looked like the two rainbow stones that had been on either side put together... Rakin, Alrai Pin, and Bridge stood in front of the glowing thing.

"Now, let's get the last of our powers loaded in to here, and we can all say hellooooo to the New Pilarians!" Rakin smiled, patting Bridge on the shoulder.

Behind the stone, all six amphibs appeared. They all looked tattered and bloody, and shared Rakin's dark eyes... They placed their hands on the stone, and it began to glow even brighter.

"Keep a close eye on this, you're not going to want to miss it!" Rakin laughed. (edited)

(Pt2) There was nothing that could be done to stop this it seemed. Alrai Pin climbed up to the top of the stone and sat down on it, finally closing their giant eyes.

Rakin snapped his fingers and in front of them, Sovran appeared. He was bloody and beaten, exactly as he was before he had been thrown. His chest was rising and falling, ever so slightly, but he was unconscious. He wasn't even aware of what was happening.

Rakin put his hand over his chest and with a bright glow, he began to remove each remnant. Black with grey marbling, a soft pink, red with dashes of black smoke, royal blue with yellow electricity, soft yellow, dark blue, soft blue, a kind of mid-toned blue, sea green, and a gross purple one.

One by one, he placed each in to the stone, which grew brighter and brighter after each placement...

(Pt3) Still, no one was able to help. Not with any of their powers, or their cries, or their wishes. Rakin finished removing all of Sovran's remnants and stood up. "There we are, now, it will just be a few more minutes before the Pilarians have returned!" Rakin smiled, and bowed.

(Pt4) Rakin held his bow to the audience, but suddenly, something glowing a bold white appeared behind him for a fraction of a second before vanishing. And in another instant, some of the area in front of the egg was filled in with a swampy field. The area about the length of a basketball court was now present in front of it, giving a safe area to stand away from the traps that Bridge had laid out. "What- Bridge! What is happening?!" Rakin shouted, nearly falling over.

(Pt5) Everyone from the stands appeared on the swampy field in front of the egg. Kian had also been brought in!

Between the jumbled mess of contestants and the hosts stood.. Raina! Finally, he had gotten here! He looked similar to Rakin, but he was wearing a metal chestplate and arm bracers, and his hair was pulled back in to two long thin braids that rested on his back. His eyes weren't dark like Rakin, instead his irises were a soft yellow color.

"Sorry everyone for my delay." Raina said, with a voice softer and kinder than Rakin's. "What?!" Rakin yelled. "You- how?! Whatever I don't have time for this right now, amphibs! And Bridge! Go get them!" All of the amphibs removed their hands from the stone and began to walk toward the crowd... @everyone (Feel free to post a few times in here and I'll be posting a poll)

Well, Yeonaixho was here now! He held his baby close to his chest, and tried to get baring of his surroundings. More difficult than it sounded. It sounded like there were two Rakins? "Uh- what's going on?" He asked the chicken god presumably still with him. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Isabelle was still recovering from the near crushing of her everything. Still holding onto the large crystal Connie had given her, she got her bearings, noting the strange not Rakin and the amphibs. Oh gods So that's what they were for. That's what he did to them.

Kiran panted lightly, crouching on the ground on all fours, looking everything with wide eyes. Stay out of the way. Kiran would love to do that. But where would they be out of the way and the most safe? They glanced around, stepping back and making themself as small as possible.

Julien could only look on in horror at the chaos unfolding now right in front of him. All of this was too much, from the fight to the Pilarians to the two Rakins (Rainas?) to… …Dante? Julien’s heart sank, but he stood his ground. And they hadn’t even gotten pizza. This sucked.

Kian... Oh, Kian. When he was teleported with the crowd, he slumped forward and splashed into the muddy water. He was still heavily injured from his fight, and barely able to process what exactly was going on. His fight had already broke him. There was only so little he could give for this one. "Uncle Agustin.." He said with a hoarse voice as he made out the vague form of his uncle. Some roots formed underneath him and lifted Kian from the water. He still had to fight. It wasn't over yet. He had to fight... ~ Meanwhile, Bridge was standing by Rakin's side the entire time, only moving when the sudden swamp appeared. He made sure to grab Rakin so the man didn't fall over, but otherwise, Bridge seemed neutral throughout the entire process. When ordered to move out, he did. Joining whichever group needed him, a blue holographic barrier formed in front of Alrai Pin and the Egg. Small landmines were placed surrounding them, targeting anyone who would get close.

Mallon, once again, has no idea where the fuck they are. It’s jarringly disorienting, and frankly terrifying. They’re doing their best to hide it. But the staggered wheezing of their panicked breath is unmistakable. They can’t pick out any individual voices here right now, and the only thing they’re sure of is that there is grass and water beneath their feet. Despite everyone gathered, they’re alone. ——————— As soon as Kenji appears in the swampy area, Amara mentally slams back into him with enough force to physically double him over, as he gasps for breath suddenly. The decay around himself grabs hungrily at the organic ground, but doesn’t go farther just yet. He straightens up slowly, face paling at the sight of the amphibs approaching.

Between the fight and nearly being crushed to death, Nathan was still reeling from everything happening. Nathan's brows furrow as he takes in the scene in front of him. Itsuki and Llinos- and everyone else here, too, with that same, haunting stare that shithead had. As their arm swiftly transforms into it's axe-like form, Nathan draws himself up to his full height and braces their foot against the ground. "Shiiit, man," they grit out. Guess this was the final fight everyone was buzzing about- just not in the...best of circumstances, maybe.

-------------- Connie couldn't move. Better yet, she couldn't breathe. She's still silently crying even as everyone gets teleported into this place, her once bright eyes now absolutely dull with fear. Sovran? Sovran? Was that him? Was he okay? What did they do to him? She saw him fall- she didn't see him fall- she didn't see anything, she saw nothing, she didn't see a thing- She'd been in big fights like this before; back at Stariel- she fought a deity before! Connie knew with all her heart she was at least slightly capable of fighting. Where did her friends go? Where did Aldreda go? W-where did all the healers go? She's supposed to be with the healers- she doesn't know where anyone is. A strangled sort of noise leaves Connie's lips- why were they coming closer? So why did she feel so scared? Where did her dad go? "bàba," Connie all but cries. Pale white static crackles around her knuckles.

It keeps happening it keeps happening it keeps happening it keeps happening.- Taylor almost died. Again. Poppy almost died again because she was stuck to him like glue. Yet.... he realized. Eerily. He felt calm. No.... no it was because he was too scared to know what level of rage he felt in his chest. He slowly stood up, trying to stand up straight. His eyes shadowed by his hair as he mouthed something to Poppy. The rabbit plush jerking as if to double take. __ When they heard Raina, Taylor looked up like his usual nervous self. But there was something behind his eyes as Connie cried. Hurriedly Taylor rushes over, an instinct in his chest that he all had but forgotten towards anyone but Poppy. "Connie? "It looks as though the final battle will be beginning. We've been teleported out of the stands, and we're now presented in front of the 'Amphibs.' A battle will be occurring, and it seems as though your partner is now behind a barrier." Cansu's feathers bristled with his rising anger. "If you want assistance, I advise for you to help remove your infant's fingers from my feathers. I will be much more useful out there." @innsjo | juno🌻/jymaiyri🌿/minnie🌺

Zora was still barely processing what was occurring. One moment, the floor was one color, and the next moment, it was different. Slowly, Zora blinked. Nora was still holding onto her, and while she could feel the other girl’s contact, she felt a bit safer knowing that her sister was with her. “Wh-wh-” Zora’s voice was strained and quiet. Nora had clung close to Zora, whimpering into her cardigan as she did everything to hold herself together for her sister. The walls were crumbling- she didn’t want to die, she wanted to live, it wasn’t fair- And suddenly they were somewhere else. Zora was still here, but, people were shouting, what was..? The scene before her clicked together, and the need to survive- No, to Live seized her. Nora stood, pulling Zora to her feet with her. “F-fighting- Z-Zora if- if we win, w-we can go home!”

Lykos had been pacing restlessly during the fight, trying to think of something, anything, they could do to help, but there was nothing. Their heart was beating rapidly as the stands began to collapse- They couldn’t die yet, they were all so close to freedom- The scene before them shifted to a battlefield. The fear within them burned away, replaced by a feeling of hope. “Finally. Everyone, this is our chance! Cast aside your fear, this is our final battle!!”

Connie's still wheezing, blubbering in a language Taylor may or may not know. The static's grown worse, like charging up a blast or something. "I wanna go home," she wheezes. "I wanna- help- hh- Sovran, hhuh-"* Someone was coming.

Kiran broke through the two amfibs and skittered further away. They got a little bonk from Tai'Tana, but it didn't slow them down much. They just wanted to get away from the violence. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Well, they could run until they got to a minefield.. Little black devices were littered across the white platform after the swamp and before the forcefield. It would be best to watch your step here.. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran barely noticed the mines, but managed to slow down and slip and slide into a halt before barreling right into the minefield. They slpatted into the mud, panting, and looked at the devices nervously. They glanced around, back, and forward, to see if this might be a safe spot to stay for now. Nothing happened at the moment, but Kiran would be able to see Bridge and Rakin arguing behind the forcefield, Alrai Pin still sitting on the egg, and Sovran bleeding out on the ground between it all.. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran sat up and crouched, keeping an eye on the enemies. Right now this seemed like a good place to stay out of the way. They stayed put, and didn't want to draw attention, but.... they couldn't help but thunk if there was something they could do. A noise slowly was breaking through the dark that had Sovran in its clutches. It threatened to pull him deeper under, but the screeching noise pulled him out from his unconscious state. The man blinked blood from his eyes as he rested on his back on some sort of platform. He was familiar with the stickiness of blood that surrounded him- His blood. How much had he bled already? How hadn’t he bled out? He fell. He was dead. He- Died? It hurt, he remembered that, and then there was nothing. Now, there was something. He was alive. Sovran was alive. Well, he was still dying. The man’s body was porous from the amount of roots that had stabbed into him. His breathing was wet and off, his chest only rising particularly on his left side. Damaged lung? Wouldn’t be surprised given the trauma his body endured. As he raised a hand to his face, he took note of a slight blue tint to his fingers. Lack of blood, lack of proper oxygen- Yeah, he was a dead man. Once a dead man, now alive, and still a dead man. How the hell was he still kicking? Sovran lowered his hand and slowly, painfully, lifted his head to get a good look at his surroundings. He had to take note of what was in his immediate area. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Well, he was on a white platform. To his one side was a barrier, and behind that see-through wall was a swamp. With people fighting on it. And to his other side was Rakin, Bridge, a giant rainbow rock, and a weird looking alien. Instantly noting that Sovran was moving, Rakin quickly moved his foot over and placed it down on the side of Sovran's head, pinning it on the ground and looking over at his direction. "Don't you know when to quit?" Rakin huffed, clearly already near enraged. @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Growling, Sovran dug his bloodied fingers into Rakin’s shoe to try and shove it off. The man was pathetically weak, and his fingers simply slipped right off. “Y-you should kn-know by n-now that I’m a stubborn son of a b-bitch,” Sovran grunted. “Get your damn shoe o-off me..” @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

With a sudden burst of strength, Sovran rolled himself out from under Rakin’s foot. He grasped his ankle and threw his body against Rakin’s leg. Using the full force of his weight, he bent Rakin’s leg in the complete other direction, forcing it to break at the knee. The man didn’t let go. He had to fight. For Connie. For Yeonaixho. For Zora. For Kian. Nora. Nathan. Jymaiyri. Eliana. Even if they were all gone like Rakin said, Sovran had to fight. They were all that he had to push himself forward. They were all he had left. "Mr. Rakin!" Bridge frowned deeply as he saw Sovran attack the Amphib. Bridge was much more concerned about Rakin's well-being than actually hurting Sovran. With his pointer and middle finger together, Bridge drew what seemed to be a straight line across Sovran. That line was a super thin light meant to cut through Sovran's throat. The cut would be deep enough to hurt like a bitch, blood spilling and cutting some chords, but still not enough to kill the man. Bridge quickly went to Rakin's side and took a hold of his hand. "I think it's better we leave, Mr. Rakin." @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 @Vanessa| Sovran+Zora+Cansu

Kiran saw the dead looking guy stir and start fighting the baddies. Ough.. What to do, what to do...? Kiran paced back and forth in front of the mines. Their nonexistent heart was telling them to do something, but what, what? Coward. Traitor. You won't do anything. You never will. They whimpered.

Sovran instantly made a pained sound that got cut off as the light sliced through his throat. The man fell onto his side as his hands desperately grasped at his neck to staunch the blood flow. Yet, it kept flooding through the gaps of his fingers, pooling on the floor. His throat was beginning to fill with it, and the man gurgled on it. His body desperately moved on its own as air tried to slip down into needy lungs, but it struggled to get there. His body began to grow still as his eyes threatened to shut- Oh, they were already shutting. A ringing sound filled his ears as his movements grew slower. Then, a voice broke through the ringing. "SOVRAN!" His eyes shot open the moment he heard his daughter yell his name. His daughter, his baby girl, she was still alive- And she was screaming for him. Sovran's body acted on it's own. Just as he did with Rakin, he did to Bridge: He lunged forward like a ferocious animal and broke the bastard's leg. If he couldn't kill them, the least he could do was damage them so that way the others could. They could finish the job he couldn't. Snarling, coughing, and choking for air, Sovran twisted Bridge's leg until he heard the satisfying crack he was looking for. The man fell onto his side once more, still choking on his blood and gasping for air, but this time, he wore a bloodied, wild grin on his face. Take that, mother fuckers. Sovran's body seized as the shock ran its course through his body. It was strong that he had lost consciousness the moment it entered his system. His body seized violently as the current made his muscles spasm. The heat was strong enough to, he imagined, make his blood boil. It felt like it. So this must've been what dying felt like. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as his broken body fell limp. Smoke rose from what was practically a corpse. At least Sovran went out knowing that his daughter was still alive. @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽

Nothing happened, but Kiran did get Rakin's frantic, enraged attention. "Stop it! Or you're next! Don't you know how easy it would be for my powers to reset you?!" Rakin yelled out. @Twig | Kiran + Riki

Kiran stepped back, their chest heaving. Okay, they got their attention. Now what? They hadn't thought his far ahead. They glanced at Sovran's unmoving body. He might be dead... but maybe not. If he was alive.. Kiran needed to make sure Rakin wouldn't keep hurting him. Just, keep distracting the frog man. They lifted their eyes back towards Rakin, took a few breaths before yelling back. "A-and what difference would that make? You were already going to kill us!" @Mads|Madison📱+Aldreda🔥+NPCS👽 (edited)

"It will be out of my hands in just a moment-" Rakin glared, but was interrupted as a blast of light and energy shot out from the rainbow stone behind him.

Alrai Pin was gone, and the stone began to morph and move on its own..

The blast shot through Rakin and Bridge, and as it did... Bridge glitched in to nothing, leaving behind only a pile of glowing gray powder and a bloody rag. Rakin was forced down to the ground.

The barrier shattered, allowing everyone to rush in. Rakin seemed to be knocked out.

Zora opened her mouth to encourage both of her siblings to continue, but the shaking and brightness of the egg distracted her. Instantly, she was back in front of her siblings to protect them. “Oooooooooooooooohhhhhh my god it’s hatching oohhhhh my god-” Zora looked spoOkEd. “It’s- I-it’s going to be okay, everyone!” Zora called out to the entire group. She then put her light over the field of allies around her and began to heal them as a group. [Everyone gets nine points of healing] @everyone Although, the light remained away from Nathan. Kiran screamed and crouched back down when the light burst out of the egg and the barrier shattered. They stared with wide eyes. It was as a strings was severed- metaphorically, as Nora's strings were still on them. With a loud, rattly gasp, Nathan's head shot up, eyes wide with just absolute confusion now. They weren't quite the same though, rather with a light purple pupil and a strikingly purple sclera. Still, better than before. Everything that was a haze before- Zora's words, everyone else's movements -were now crystal clear, and he meant crystal fucking clear. Kiran startled at the sight of the other Rakin, and the burst of light from the egg. They took a moment to snap out of it, and then frantically looked for the biggest stone they could throw. Not powers.. they didn't have any, but maybe it would help at least a bit. They winded their arm back, and launched the rock at the egg as hard as they could.

In a similar fashion to before, small, dull spikes of clay began to race it's way to the egg. It began to get increasingly sharper as it neared, and slammed right into the egg. Riiigh, hatching.

All of the anger and frustration within Zora began to build up. However, above all of those negative emotions, hope radiated brightly in her. They’d be going home soon. They’d get their home, their garden, their game nights, their safety, their happiness- All of it. They’d get it. All they needed to do was defeat this egg. Light appeared at her hands. With a shout, she sent out a large orb of light that burned as bright as magnesium. This was controlled and wouldn’t blind anyone, but would definitely help with the abortion.

Kenji is still technically talking to Isabelle but I need to lock in soon so putting this here now— The—whatever it is—is still shaking violently. Kenji watches as Raina lunges at it, his shout starting him into action. He doesn’t need to get close. Dark, inky smoke streaked with a sickly violet lash out from him, snaking across the ground and burrowing into the egg. Where they go, decay and rot follows, eating into the egg as much as they can. He stumbles, slightly, but holds on.

Mallon hears Raina’s shout, but, well… It’s not like they know where he is. And it’s not like they can offer an attack, either, unless they’re right on top of it. They hunch down in the swamp, curling in on themself and hugging their arms to their chest as layer after layer of thick white shells cover every inch of their skin. It’s too loud and too chaotic and too much, and the most that they can do here is hope. (Somewhere in the distance is an echo of a song only they can hear.)

Aldreda flew overhead and behind the egg so that she could hit the back side, where few others could reach. White hot flames took over her wings and hands, and shot out to the egg.

Upon hearing Raina’s command, both of Julien’s arms became sludge, as he pooled all his strength and willpower into taking that egg down.

Ko looked at the egg, placing her sword in front of her with one hand as the other reach out. Feeling her powers pull at her body as she held onto the feeling of being lost and trapped with the only connection to her home being what she had on her. She used those feeling as she reached out, mist appearing from her form as it rushed towards the egg. The mist reaching towards the egg. The places it touched beginning to decay and flake off in its own mist as she tried to force it to disperse.

Once both Yeonaixho and Sovran were placed safely on the ground, Cansu turned his attention to the egg. Inside of him, another deadly combination of water and lightning swelled within. The deity shot out the powerful blast at the egg. (edited)

Connie skids to a proper halt near the egg, watching as all the others begin to shred away at it. She doesn't really question why no one's getting close, but that'll do- she can do ranged stuff, she always can. A large, crackling pulse of lightning forms in her hands, and she pulls her an arm back, still focused on the egg. The lightning- it crackles, it swells, it roars, til it's nothing but a ringing noise in her ears. Lazy afternoons jumping into lakes, learning how to fish properly with an actual fishing rod, little lobsters and grilled fish for dinner. Travelling to Avis, taking part in the Feathering, flying above the clouds as a seagull. Sitting underneath the shade of the trees, maybe in the little tidepools cave, learning about transformations and magic and not-gods and stars. With a loud, boisterous cry, Connie lets loose, launching a brilliant strike of bright blue lightning at the egg. You're going to be free.

Isabelle almost instinctively jumps up at the commotion, taking the crystal back and kinda just... standing there. There wasn't much she could do with the minefield in play. And her powers couldn't exactly do anything to it.

Subaru however, could do something to it. With the babby still in hand, it began to transform, floating into the air as it did. Oh shit, it's the ender dragon. But it was a lot smaller than people would remember. Big enough to hold the baby at least. And as they approached the egg, with one claw out, Subaru gently poked the baby. Fuck yeah. Arriving at the egg, Subaru hovered beside Aldreda in the back as shit began manifesting and yeeting itself towards the egg. And while they were here... "It's tummy time Miss Minnie!" Minerva giggled as Subaru poked her. This was all pretty fun! also fun fact babies don't develop a fear of heights til they're 8 months old! Under Minerva's tiny hands, the surface of the egg grew mushy and discolored. It wasn't clear exactly what the baby was doing, other than... fucking up the egg in some gross way. Seeing the mines lift, Subaru panicked, clutching the babby close to it before backing away from the egg to a safe distance. Glad she's enjoying Ender Airlines. With Isabelle’s warning, Lykos backed off, pausing at Rakin’s limp body. A monstrous grin crossed their face as they grabbed Rakin by his hair and dragged him back across the now safe minefield.

Aldreda backed off from the egg so she didn't blow up. Yippee

Raina did not seem to move, but he also didn't look to worried about it. He didn't tell her to stop so- Isabelle threw her arm forward, sending the mines rocketing towards the egg. As each one made contact, the mines exploded one after another in a truly retina-burning spectacle. It was cool as fuck though.

Raina teleported away for the seconds the bombs went off, then got right back on the egg. It seems like with everyone working together, and definitely the volley of mines, the egg was done for.. A blinding explosion blasted from the egg, and with it, lots of a gross, slimy blue substance. When the light faded, the egg was nothing more than a jumbled mess of small rainbow pebbles on the ground, and Raina was standing victoriously with a small device in his hands. "Great job everyone!" He yelled out. "We are safe now! I will start bringing everyone back, and figuring out a way to send you home shortly!" Raina smiled, and bowed to the competitors. "Please let me know if there is anything I could do to help make this right to all of you. I will do whatever I can in my means to help fix all of this." @anti alrai alliance

Standing at the verge of the now removed minefield, Kiran was close enough to get splattered by blue slime. They where not a fan.

Minerva was still being held in the air by Tsubari, and while she was NOT a fan of the light blast, she did seem pretty interested in the goop.

Julien’s hands returned to normal only moments after the egg exploded, though his mission still wasn’t over. He darted over to Raina and nearly slipped on the blue slime now covering the ground. Well, if no one was looking, he nearly slipped. He approached Raina slower than he’d initially started, patches of blue decorating his body. “Raina, I ordered a pizza before all… this happened. The moment it opened, one of the employees ran up to it. He had blue-ish gray skin and white hair, and small purple eyes. "Itsuki, is that you out there? What is this?" The man asked. "Ger!" Itsuki exclaimed and shoved himself off of Raina and jumped at the taller man. He managed to catch him and thankfully not fall over, and the two just embraced for a bit, Itsuki's tail wagging like crazy. "Ah. Glad I could reunite you. I believe someone here made a pizza order?" After a few minutes of banging around pans and stumbling through a messy kitchen, Raina pulled out a large cart holding the entire order. The entire bottom row of the cart was filled with the one liter mountain dew bottles, and the top with all the pizza and sides.. Oh, and a bottle of cheap looking wine that was already half empty!
